Another excellent meal with the Ivy Group. Our first visit to the Covent Garden site and we were not disappointed! A warm welcome and we were shown on time to our table despite the restaurant being very busy. Service was prompt but not intrusive. The cocktails were excellent, as was the wine, and the food was first rate! Overall a very enjoyable experience and we will certainly visit again!

Our party of 5 arrived on time for our table that was booked for 6.45pm. Disappointingly we had to stand for 25 mins waiting for our table to be ready (In the way of staff & other diners). We were offered a free drink but this was not provided. Once at the table the food & service was very good. When the bill arrived there was no recognition of free drinks/discount, so we asked/reminded the waiter. To be fair our desserts were removed from the bill I have eaten at the Ivy before (London, Cobham & Guildford) and always had a good experience. For my 4 guests, it was their first time and was spoilt by the initial delay.

The décor is lovely & the restaurant is split into nice cosy sections . The food choices were great & the food was delicious. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful & attentive. A great evening out with friends. Definitely Recommend.

Food is on the pricey side but that's what you expect for The Ivy. I had the Brick roasted chicken which was tasty but not very hot. This dish came with a few green beans which wouldnt have been very filling had we not ordered extra sides. I feel the mains should come with more accompaniments for the price, which would make it much better value and a better experience. Desserts however are superb and plentiful. The frozen berries is a show stopper. Our server was Micael, he was very attentive and polite and everything came quickly.

The place is far too crowded, and you are packed in like sardines!! Told to wait and stand by the door and waited 15 minutes before getting seated. I had to ask the person on the table next to me to move round their table so I could get out to use the toilet. Food very good and cannot be faulted. I ask the waiter to show me the NON-Alcoholic cocktails and ordered a blood orange spritz. He bought back one with Wine in it, very poor and not even an apology. Service ok, food good and place packed like a supermarket on Christmas eve, I wouldn't return.

Food was fine but not outstanding! Service at table was good but even though I had booked a table weeks in advance we had to wait over 20 minutes to be seated and the gentleman that greeted us was unfriendly and rather snooty! I’ve eaten here many times but the standard was not as good as previous visits.

We booked a table to celebrate a birthday meal. Staff were great and very attentive. Food arrived quickly after ordering. My one and only criticism I had was where we were seated. This is the only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars. It was a cold and frosty day and we were seated near to the door that leads to the outside tables. This door was either open continuously for them to serve or it was forgotten about. I was very tempted to put my coat back on and that’s not conclusive for a lovely meal. Especially for the cost of the meal. This also in turn made the food cool down very quickly. It’s such a shame because it could have been a lovely lunch. Maybe in the cold don’t serve the outside tables maybe or supply blankets for those tables near the door?. I wouldn’t recommend to a friend in the winter months.

A truly wonderful experience, the first time at the Covent Garden restaurant, although I have been to a few others. The service was outstanding. Attentive, personal, fun, but without being overbearing and the young lady who was helping us, should be the employee of the month. The food was absolutely excellent as well. Thank you for such a special evening.

Not a great visit waited longer than ages for drinks no acknowledgment from team no check back Luke warm food and a £28 add on as service for No service. Don’t think it cares enough any more as it’s busy anyway . Wow will not return as there are plenty to choose from

I would describe the restaurant as chaotic. There was a long queue to get in even though we had booked. Our table had clearly been given to someone else. We were shown to a table and then moved on again to a small table by the bar. The service was patchy. Our first waiter started well and then disappeared. After that we had a number of waiters. I wouldn’t fault the food but won’t be going back again.

This was our first visit to the Ivy Market Grill and we weren’t disappointed. We were shown to our table straight away and given time to settle down. The food choices were good and actually good value. The service was excellent and everyone seemed happy to serve us. We didn’t feel rushed or under pressure to move on. Everyone around us seemed very animated and this added to the vibe of the night. I have already recommended a visit to friends and family.

We had a fabulous time. Food was excellent, can’t fault the chocolate bomb. Our waiter Francisco was great, so friendly and attentive. We’ve booked to come again next month and have requested to sit in his service area.

Our 2nd visit to this IVY and we had a nice time. The chips were a bit luke warm and not much truffle mayo on our burgers. The ambience and service made up for it. However it was very busy and rather noisy.

Serving staff great but other than that a very poor experience. Tables too close together, doors left open and very gold air affecting at least 6 tables throughout the meal. Food missing from order and then left on the bill when pointed out. Main course not well prepared and tepid when delivered. I assume the restaurant’s location lets them continue to be full but I suggest you look at any of the independent restaurants in the area before booking here. I am a regular user of the Ivy in 2 other locations and will continue to use those but would never visit Covent Garden restaurant again. It was that poor

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal at the Ivy Grill on 28th November. We were served by Camilla who was friendly and professional. The cocktails and food were fabulous. There was three of us and we all had the blackened cod which was absolutely delicious. We will be back.

I was early for my table and happily waited at the bar with a drink! I asked two members of staff if my table table was ready - and they said someone will come and get me. In total I waited 30 mins after my booking time, and no one came, so decided to leave. I was very much looking forward to having the festive menu but due to poor communication, I never got the opportunity.

I ordered a burger however I was advised of the allergen. I was offered toasted bread as an alternative to the seeded bun which I was appreciative of but it wasn’t particularly very appealing. I wonder if there needs to be seeds on your buns? I would completely dismiss the allergen element in the meal.

We booked a table for 5 and were seated at a table for 4. It was cramped and the food didn't fit on the table. We were not the only ones they had seated like this. If you book for 5 you expect a table for 5. The toilets were filthy. The staff were lovely however the standard overall is not what I expect from this restaurant that we have visited on several occasions.

We were seated by the window and between two doors. It was incredibly cold. We asked for the over head heater to be put on but to no avail. Eventually we were offered blankets (that are meant for the tables outside). It was a special occasion. Certainly will be a memorable one…the coldest and most uncomfortable one.

I booked The Ivy Market Grill as I would expect any restaurant around Covent Garden to be busy & rushed but thought that The Ivy would offer a level of acceptable service given the circumstances. We waited 40 mins before anything came to our table courgette fritti & drinks so we opted not to order starters as we had onward plans for the afternoon. Our main course was fair but my Duck Curry was already going cold. When we wanted to leave we couldn't get the eye of any staff member to pay our bill so stood to put on our coats & eventually walked over to the station to ask to pay our bill. Found the whole experience irritating as I couldn't ask the waiter any query I had, lacking & time taken when it could have been a smoother visit. Altogether not an Ivy I would return to & I've been to several all over the UK.

No vegetarian breakfast/brunch option. Requested a flavoured syrup in latte and was told this could not be done. Ordered an alternative drink (on the menu), this was then unavailable. Asked for a minute to review other choices and then waiter did not return to take replacement drink order until our food arrived (about 10 minutes later). Asked (at separate times) for: vegetarian menu, blanket (seated outside), water and had to chase all of these things. It was not particularly busy, the waiter seemed disinterested. Also, the ladies toilets were dirty; one seat was not even attached to the toilet, the hand dryer was out of order, and the sanitary bins were overflowing in at least three cubicles mostly with toilet paper where assumedly people had dried their hands. I have higher expectations of somewhere with the name and reputation of The Ivy than I might do at other places, but I was incredibly underwhelmed. The saving grace was that the food, however, was delicious.

Adding a service fee on the bill, but you don’t get any service! Wrong products (more expensive) on the bill, which aren’t properly delivered. I don’t recommend to go there.
