We were lucky to get a last minute booking for Saturday evening. This was a repeat visit to Ivy Grill and it didn't disappoint. We all enjoyed our meals and left very full.
An opportunity for friends to get together was enhanced by this location, the great food and wonderful service.
Main course 45 minutes in coming and cold. As we were then going to be late for a theatre show, no choice but to gulp down and go!
I have been here many times but this time the main course was awful. After 20 mins I was really sick. The meal was not as described. The ‘crispy’ skin on the chicken was not crispy but soggy and grey. Very disappointed. As soon as my food arrived o regretted it. I had the chicken bourgonion
Service was amazing though.
We had a perfect dinner here, three generations celebrating before going to the theatre. Very nice place, the best location, the loveliest staff and good food and drinks with a wide selection for all. Gorgeous! We went back the next morning for an absolutely delicious breakfast.
Lovely friendly staff. Very attentative. Lovely food and well presented.
This by far the best of the Ivy sister brasseries and always has a lovely atmosphere and good service
Excellent lunch, great ambiance and good service. Will come again and happy to recommend.
Great Food - Good Choice Available and Good Service - - Will be going back
Really enjoyed the meal and experience, been to most of the Ivy chain restaurants and this is as good as the others, also been to the Main Ivy and the good here was as good
Service was very good, our only issue was my wifes food was not very hot and we sent it back but they handles it well
Went here last week and chose it primarily because of the vegetarian/vegan menu as one of our party is vegan - I also chose this because of the imaginative non vegetarian/vegan which was important. I certainly made the correct choice! The vegan was more than happy with the menu as were the meat eaters amongst us. I shall be going again - it did not disappoint.
Good but service a little too prompt if you know what I mean.
We had a disappointing experience although generally like The Ivy. We arrived at 9:30 PM after the theatre and it wasn't too busy.....but the service didn't reflect that. The main order had several mistakes and despite asking for condiments and an original order of truffle fries we didn't get the fries and had to request the condiments 3 times. Might go to this location again but our friends definitely said it wasn't worth it.
excellent service & great value close to the theatres - a great place for a meal - highly recommended
Excellent meal with interesting food beautifully presented, with attentive staff. Well done and thank you.
Excellent food; good choice of lighter dishes for lunchtime/pre-theatre. We were early for our booking, but accommodated graciously and not hassled for our table after the meal.
Shared our anniversary lunch here and it was excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and the ambiance (although busy) was good. Nothing to fault.
Lively restaurant with really good atmosphere. Service was really good. Varied menu with lots of options. Good wine least. Food was really good and moderately priced.
An enjoyable evening, not the best meal we have had there as a couple of issues but would not stop me returning
Exellcent service and superb food. Lives up to its reputation.
Interesting first visit found it more or less what I expected service was in the main excellent and did not intrude unnecessarily into our lunch
Very noce ambiance and fine food and beverage selection. Staff very friendly and kind.
Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. Excellent.
Great vibe and service
We had a great time at our family get together
We came for the Sunday brunch and were more than happy with the food selection on offer. The staff were friendly although we did struggle to catch someone’s attention when we were ready to order desert. We didn’t feel rushed which is always nice when having a lazy Sunday lunch.
I was recommended to visit this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. The service was first class. The food itself was well presented and very tasty. I will be recommending this restaurant to all my friends. I will definitely be coming back. Superb.
We have been many times to the ivy and love the food and the overall experience of going there
We have been several times and on every occasion the food, wine and service has been excellent
overall we had a super meal, the food was delicious, unfortunately the service was not good, very slow, we had to ask for everything, the menu, drinks, when we wanted to order, we didn't feel that the staff waiting on us were well trained, we were asked about coffee while we ordered dessert, which then came up with our dessert! had to ask for the bill too, will return as i am sure staff training with sort out these problems.
Booked this restaurant because it had good reviews. When booking, I was asked if there were any special requirements. I wrote that my husband and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary (Golden).
So, so disappointed that nothing was mentioned. A 'golden candle' could have been placed on the table and how happy it would have made me and my husband. I booked this meal as a surprise for my husband.
Would be interesting to know what went wrong!
Came here for a brunch on a saturday for my fiance’s 30th. Absolutely wonderful food, nice booth not sat right on top of others which is nice considering its was busy. Enjoyed a wonderful brunch, food and drink amazing. Only slight downside was after a couple of glasses of fizz we decided to match some wines to our food and when asked for the wine list again the waitress seemed put out, making us feel a little embrassed. Overall a lovely afternoon just that last thing slightly took away from our celebration.
Good pick for a breakfast treat and a nice birthday treat for the 18yr old. Like the other Ivy gaffs in town - friendly, reliable and slick.
My second visit. The first time I was offered to eat outside and I did as pleasant weather permitted it. This time, although it was a nice morning as well, they pretended the outside area was not available so I was shown to a table with no view. The staff looked bored out of their mind and they made no effort at hiding it
Excellent post theatre meal for my wife’s birthday. Relaxed atmosphere and excellent staff. They even brought out an individual birthday cake after the meal. Thanks so much!
Was very impressed with the restaurant, friendly, great atmosphere and great food. Can’t wait to come again.
Great meal with a fantastic atmosphere but not overpowering. The service was attentive but not intrusive and the food was reasonably priced for the quality in presentation and taste. I would recommend this venue to friends and colleagues.
It doesn’t say in Opentable, but apparently you can’t book for drinks. They only gave us the table for 45 minutes, and we were rushed through an important business meeting. And it’s really noisy so never again for business meetings.
We had a very enjoyable meal however the service was extremely slow
Excellent we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. They even brought a mini dessert for my friend as they knew it was her birthday
Not the normal ivy experience, tables so close together the waiters back side is in your face when they're serving the table next to you. Food ok, nothing special . Rice was over done and hard. Not sure how you can get rice wrong but they did.
