The food was good.
There was a wide choice on the menu.
The service was attentive.

We was really disappointed with our visit to the ivy market grill. We was really rushed by our waiter to order and we had only just received our starters when he bought over our mains! We didn’t even bother ordering a second drink because we felt so rushed, we chose to spend our money at a bar elsewhere. Real shame as we was looking forward to this dinner.

I have visited several Ivy restaurants and they were all excellent. The staff are very attentive and polite and the food choice is varied. Good value for money

We arrived early and were accommodated straight away which was great.
Seating outside was nice but it was freezing weather conditions, however the heating and blankets took the edge off it. I’d say you probably need a few more heaters as the ones in the canopy were barely enough.
Waiting Staff were lovely. Very attentive and a credit to the restaurant- especially working outside in the cold.
Food was very nice snd well presented.
Not the first time we’ve visited and won’t be the last

Disappointing visit. Pre theatre menu not available plus some items on the main menu not available so wasn't the experience we had hoped.

Really disappointed with my second trip here. The food was delicious as always, but the service was pretty abysmal…

Our waiter wasn’t very communicative at all.

We were basically ignored after the mains were taken away. Had to chase for a dessert menu, and then waited another 15 minutes for no one to come over… so chased for the bill… again, totally ignored and had to chase to actually pay. Not a great experience at all, which is such a shame.

Not the standard you usually get!

We had a good experience at The Ivy Grill, the food was good and the cocktails were great and not overpriced. We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday which was acknowledged at the end of the meal.

However, we were disappointed where we sat as we were near the bar where diners were waiting for their tables. We felt crowded as people were stood talking (not sitting) making the noise level high, and waiters were constantly having to brush passed us.

We, hopefully, will return in the not too distant future but would not like to sit at the same table.

Waited 20 mins at the bar for our table ....perhaps an offer of a drink for the long wait would have been appreciated.

Service very good, but restaurant loud and you were packed in. Food very average. Wine excellent. Staff made a huge effort to ensure you were well served. Lots little details were wrong. Ivy in Edinburgh far superior and warmer.

Tables too small for two people and cramped together, the service wasn’t very quick or attentive, and the coffee was cold but they did replace it quickly once we told the waiter. Food itself was absolutely delicious which turned things around considerably! We had brunch and the menu was varied and very good portion sizes.

Was extremely busy & had to wait a while for the table to be ready & they didn’t really have any area to wait other than sitting at the bar but you couldn’t have a drink at the bar whilst waiting? Seating area was very squashed too. Food was ok but I must say once seated the service was impeccable.

Sat at the bar after main meal for drinks. Ignored for 20 minutes, then told I can’t order at the bar and should of ordered drinks at the table to then be drank at the bar. I spoke to Our original waiter who then allowed us to order through him then the bar man gave us the drinks. It’s pathetic when every pub and bar has zero restrictions now. Also didn’t like the attitude of the waiter, asked how much the bottle of champagne is and was told it’s on the menu. Which it is not it’s only per glass prices. Overall not as nice as marlow ivy, rushed and small space. Food was good though.

Great venue to get together over some good food and wine. The staff were very courteous. The only downside was that we were seated near the door which made it draughty. I’d definitely return.

Seated quickly, service quick and efficient. Food good and good variety with Christmas specials. A lot of people squeezed in so noise levels made it hard to have a conversation easily. Would recommend and would return happily.
