Lovely meal. I had the ribs and they were delicious! The service from our waitress (a Swedish lady) was very good. We hope to return again soon.

We had an overall great experience. Food was outstanding, specially the starters, dumplings and croquetas. Service was also quite good, attentive and kind although, that night it was not very busy. The only thing we didn't enjoy so much was that the restaurant was rather on the cold side. Other than that... Go and enjoy it, good value for money.

First impressions were that the website is misleading and certainly not clear that the Lambourne is part of a hotel - the rear dining area feels a bit budget hotel anyway. The Bar area was however nicely done - food/drinks were reasonably priced for the area and the staff were good. I had the 8oz sirloin with chips which I would have sent back had I not been so hungry (I ordered med rare and it was well done and v tough) My friends had the ravioli which was good and the roast sea bass which was okay... Essentially the Lambourne is probably fine for a drink and casual dinner but certainly not the dining experience that it promises on the website....

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Wimbledon that’s why I brought my sisters here however we were disappointed by the desserts the almond cake was frozen and cold not warm and soft and the chocolate truffle you needed a steak knife to cut through it was that frozen.

Slightly odd layout which makes it very noisy, especially when large groups are there. Food was good but way too salty. Poor beer selection, and waiter seemed keen to get away every time he served us. Service was also very slow.

Nice staff and lovely food but the restaurant was very bleak, empty and brightly lit. A bit like eating in a Premier Inn. Just some ambient lighting and undated colour scheme would make a bit difference.

1st time here with family. Starters were good...went for the sharing platters. Mains were good too. Burgers, ribs and steaks cooked to perfection. No room for desserts! Service was friendly and welcoming. Nice evening, good food and superb service. Thanks!

My first time at the restaurant. Menu looked good however I did not enjoy the steak I ordered - too tough. Service was ok but drinks took a long time to arrive. Ambience not great either but perhaps it was because it was a Tuesday evening and therefore quiet. I really wanted to enjoy it but sadly not sure I'd be in a rush to go back.

We were surprised by the relax atmosphere. It's very rare where you get places where you can eat and talk and the music not be loud. The bar tender were good and it was bygof on cocktails. The whole dining experience was exceptional even the waitress who was so attentive and professional and at the same time friendly and welcoming. We loved the fish board starter. My main Of steak was cooked to perfection and so was husband choice of pork ribs. Recommend as date nice or meeting friends for drink. We now have a go to should me and my husband get stuck of where to eat.

The waitress was lovely but the food appalling. The fish board sharing board was a greasy battered selection. The red cabbage coleslaw was ordinary shop brought coleslaw and my ribs were dried out and covered in a very salty sludge. The salt content in the meal was huge leaving us all excessively thirsty. I have never written a bad review before preferring to leave positive reviews when places are good. Sadly this place looked good for drinks after work but they really need to sort the food.

Had a fab evening on Weds with my friend. We both had the venison terrine which was excellent, could have done with a bit more of the compote. both had the steak and very good value as it was steak night so 50% the 2nd one. Wine is very good albeit a bit on the pricey side. Overall a good place to go

We went here for a girls dinner just before Christmas. It was very quiet but a lovely place to go anyway. Happy hour cocktails and cheap main meals made it a very affordable evening. The cocktails were made really well and the food was ok - nothing special but not bad. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would go here again :)

We ordered drinks and food ... had to go and chase drinks after 20 minutes waiting and they weren't busy so the order had been forgotten. The main course vegetarian meal was tiny and should have been a starter. The burger platter was missing the coleslaw. The side order of creamed spinach was tiny. Had to keep going to fetch a waitress as we were seated in the bar-seating area. The food was tasty so acceptable. Décor modern. Would not return.

We dined here at 5pm in the evening & were the only diners. My starter of Vension Terrine was tasteless & my husbands pork ribs (3 small) had very little meat. My husband ordered the prawn burger but got pulled the pork burger instead. I ordered the beef rib which was all bone & fat & contained no meat !!!! I returned the dish & we left the restaurant. We finished our dinner in the very charming Italian restaurant just up the road from the Lambourne, which we would highly recommend.
