The Lewinnick Lodge has long been established as the premier location to enjoy Cornish hospitality.

Nestled atop the cliffs of Pentire Headland, with stunning views across the mighty Atlantic & beyond, the Lewinnick Lodge offers a spectacular dining experience.

"The lodge' is open for breakfast at 9am and serves throughout the day until 10pm (10.30pm in the summer). Our ethos is simple, fresh seasonal produce prepared on the premises, using the very best the Cornish larder has to offer. We aim to cater for all tastes on our regular menus but if you are a lover of fresh fish & seafood then our twice daily changing specials will have you coming back time and again.

Other facilities include, large sun terrace, beer garden, open fireplace, large public bar with pool table/live sport. We are also dog friendly in the bar area.

Really enjoyed the Lewinnick again for a family birthday meal late in the evening. Food was delicious and so pleased that the menu has been switched up at last. Thoroughly enjoyed the crispy pork and pork belly, the lamb starter and the hot dog were also hits although the seafood pasta was too heavy on the pasta and not on the seafood. All was really enjoyed. Thank you!

Food was absolutely stunning !! Girls serving us were lovely too.

The only thing I would have a little moan about, is that I requested a window seat. However, we were sat with the only seats pointing at the window actually pointed at the wall.

Superb views out over the cliffs and ocean. Beautiful balcony/terrace. Very nicely positioned and well decorated restaurant. We had a somewhat later than normal reservation at 20:30. The food was excellent but by the time we were onto our dessert, most of the other diners and some of the staff had left. It was difficult to place our dessert order and get the bill.

Our squid starter was delicious, but the crab, prawn, Muscle chili Tagatelli pasta was a bit tastelessand the pasta was very chewey. My husbands pork belly was lovely so maybe it was bad luck for me to have chosen the pasta.

Went there to celebrate hubby’s birthday whilst on holiday. Requested table by window and not disappointed - stunning views. Food great, service super friendly. Fab atmosphere and lovely to see so many dogs in the bar area. Great outside patio eating/drinking area for warmer weather. Treated to a beautiful sunset to finish the evening. Would definitely recommend for casual dining in a great location.

Food was wonderful as always and the service in the restaurant was fantastic. The unfortunate issue was the bar service before the meal with staff who had no idea people had been waiting for drinks and served those who just strode up to the bar and shouted loudest. A slight disappointment on an otherwise excellent evening.

The view and staff are aboutely amazing, nothing was to much trouble.

The food was very disappointing together with the wine list, our main course was dry and cold and not a good selection of champagnes on the wine list.

I would recommend the Lewinnick for the excellent ambience and first rate service not to mention the stunning views. The food was well presented and very tasty and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The choices were plentiful and staff attentive but not intrusive. Value for money wise it is worth every penny but I would advise that you book a table as they had to turn quite a few ‘walk ins’ away. The reason it did not score 5 stars overall may seem a little picky but the management needs to pay attention to the detail. Two of my party were food hygiene specialists and noted one of the staff frequently putting his finger in his mouth and then handling glasses and using the touch screen till without first washing his hands and another member of staff exploring the inside of his nose and then not washing his hands. We mentioned this to the young lady serving us as we paid the bill and would hope the message has been passed on. All in all a pleasant and enjoyable experience and we have booked to go back for Sunday lunch with a party of 13 over the forthcoming Bank holiday weekend.

This is a smart place in a lovely setting and with a spectacular view. The food was cooked to a high standard and was well presented. Both I and my three guests enjoyed it. The waiting staff were polite and enjoyed a great sense of humour. On the negative side, I thought the service could have been a little quicker and there was a small piece of shell in my crab linguini. However, overall this was a lovely evening and I will certainly come again.

Been many times, A beautiful setting, but the food is a real let down.
Firstly they couldn’t find our booking.
Starters were excellent, but my husbands main was a small pan fried chicken breast, broccoli potato fondant and a rather strange looking brown/grey sauce, a most in appetising looking meal.
My main a got dog was nice, but nothing special.
A rather disappointing meal all round.
Service was excellent, let down by the food.
