About

The Lost Angel is a late night cocktail, live music and DJ bar with all year round garden. Through the mirrored doors is The Gaslight Grill specialising in rare breed steaks, boozy sauces and gin.

The venue has a Victoriana / Steampunk feel to it, there are three bars, two rooms and a garden with heated undercover area. We are open until 2am Friday and Saturday nights, areas of the bar are available for drinks reservations every night of the week.

We are well known for our hedonistic weekends, our lazy Sunday afternoons and our weekday steak, sauce and hand crafted cocktail sessions. We run cocktail classes for you to learn a thing or two about what we do and on Saturday’s we serve Afternoon Tea with a twist.

Look forward to seeing you at The Lost Angel & Gaslight Grill.

When we arrived they didn't have our OpenTable reservation and didn't really know what to do about, just kept telling us that it's happened to them before. When we were finally seated, it took 20 mins to get our drinks - we checked with the bar and they haven't received our order from the waitress...this happened twice during the course of lunch. The wait for food was about 40mins but the roast was one of the best I've had in London!
Poor, slow service all around. It felt like there was no organisation to the waiting staff which was quite frustrating.

We loved the food in the restaurant, very high quality and of course a bit expensive but you pay for what you get except the soup of the day was tasteless. The restaurant manager Ollie is a big flirt and very cheeky so be warned! He likes to flirt with the ladies but that's part of his job. He was knowledgeable about the steaks. Afterwards, we went to the bar area and the vibe was great. Lots of beautiful people and the cocktails were reasonably priced. The music was a bit hit and miss, too varied (a lot of unknown songs so people were left standing still a lot of the time and didn't really get into the dancing) the DJ is also not allowed to take requests. The outside area is nice but full of smokers so beware.

Four of us had lovely family meal here on Saturday night. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was delicious - between us we ate the rump steak, lamb and salmon and couldn't fault any of it. Thank you all so much!

Lovely Sunday Roast and all-you-can drink Bloody Mary's for £25 - great value. There were lots of different flavoured vodkas and spices to choose from. excellent veg and Yorkshire puddings with the roast. Worth going a little way from the station for.

The Gaslight at the Lost Angel is well furbished at the back of this nice pub. Sadly only one other customer. There was no fish on the menu and the risotto rather bland. The steaks were very good but the chips could be crispier. We would recommend and go again!

I love the simplicity of The Lost Angel - it welcomes you like an old friend does.
The layout is fab, it has a boho kinda field to it. The Sunday roast is a must as is the sticky toffee pudding...yum yum yum!!!

I really like The Lost Society and have been for food and drink on numerous occasions and I was pleased that The Lost Angel lived up to its sister bar/restaurant. The food was great (definitely try the duck!). I really like the atmosphere and the staff are friendly. The only one thing that I would say is that where we were sat, the tables were very close together (not all tables were like this mind you), other than that it was a great venue.

We ate as a party of 4 in the restaurant section of the Lost Angel, Battersea. I liked it. The restaurant was quiet, despite it being a Friday night, but I'm told it gets very busy later on. The two courses plus a cocktail deal works well. The drinks selection was good, though our waiter knew little about the (very good) beer available. Wine is reasonably priced, though champagne is unnecessarily expensive. Prawns and duck (excellent) were the best things on the menu. Fish was slightly overdone.

Unfortunately there is nothing that makes me want to go back. The food was quite good but portion size was definitely small. I had the John Dory and though the menu price was reasonable until it was in front of me. You get more fish in a Tesco basics fish finger. Service was fine but not so good as too apply 12.5% to your bill; I passionately hate fixed service charges! If it was a popular TV show I would have only paid half the bill.

I had a great time at the lost angel last week, it was a great way to start the merriments of the bank holidays! the service was friendly and faultless, the food was delicious, i had the best pork that i've ever eaten, and the cappuccino brulee was to die for! a bottle of dessert wine later and we moved onto some cocktails! they were on happy hour all night long, so i made quite a dent in their list! we were surprised when a DJ came on later in the evening..so a quiet dinner ended up in cocktails, dancing and a terrible hangover! best night out i've had in a very long time! i'll be back very soon indeed!

I love this bar! Have been for a night out and chilled evening drinks, and today did Sunday roast. Food was amazing. It was lovely sitting outside. When it got colder moved indoors - there was a brilliant guitarist & singer playing. It was quite empty but didn't make a difference to the enjoyment of the place. Would highly recommend.

I visited Lost Angel last month with three friends after a spa trip and it was the perfect ending to a lovely day - great food and delicious cocktails, served by friendly waitresses who didn't rush us along but didn't keep us waiting.
Following the meal we were able to move into the bar area to continue the evening with drinks and dancing without having to change venue. Ideal when all wearing heels!!

This was my first time to the Lost Angel and it was a great Saturday night dinner / club venue. The restuarant is relatively smalll and quite loud as it is only partly separated from the bar but that gives it a great atmosphere in preparation for a night out with a group. Tastey food and relatively good service. Amazing value menu as well.

Awesome! Went for dinner with a friend on a Friday night. Food was fantastic, service spot on - on the ball and friendly and not overbearing and pushy. We stayed after dinner for cocktials which were beautifully presented and diverse in style. Got very busy later on, really nice crowd, DJ rocked the place. Thouroughly reccommend it!

I took the wife to Lost Angel for the second time the other night on our "date night" and WOW! what an improvement since last time, I'm not saying the food was bad before but they've really got it spot on now. We we're greeted by our lovely waitress and shown straight to our table. To start the wife had the crayfish salad and I had pigeon breast, the wife ate every last scrap on her plate and she's the sort of person who always leaves something so that's a good sign. For our main course wifey had Sea bass that looked amazing and I had the Lamb shank which was the best i've ever had!! all washed down with a fantastic bottle of wine. Cheese board for dessert with a glass of port (recommended by our waitress). Top place, glad its our local.

If you think gastro pubs are snooty & the food is second best; think again. The Lost Angel is an oasis along Battersea Park Road. The weary traveller is greeted with dishes like lush escalopes on celery spoons, monkfish with pecarino cheese & an exciting cheese board of flavours. One visit is never enough!

Sunday was a quiet night at the Lost Angel and we caught the last bit of the live music which was very nice! There was a dinner offer for 2 courses and a cocktail for 20£ which is a good deal. Unfortunately we hadn't looked at the menu before ordering drinks that weren't cocktails, so we had to order more.
The food was very good and the kitchen conjured up another three portions of the dessert we wanted even after it had officially run out :-)
We really enjoyed the dinner and will be back!

Nice restaurant, food ok but nothing amazing. We had a voucher and they kept saying we could not have certain drinks etc even though the voucher said we could. Then we got charged for a round of drinks that were meant to be included in deal (even after showing them clearly that they were included). Great place for a drink after work and a cocktail!!

It's been a year since I was last in The Lost Angel and although it was pretty much as I remembered it - there was definitely a slight slip in standards.

I would love to give a better review as the food was excellent, but with the meal came so many simple errors:

There was no real ale on tap at all! Just £4+ bottles of larger and ale. There were 20 of us squeezed onto a table for 14 (in an empty bar) and the bill came with an extra 2 meals on the price tag.

Lovely, but not great value.
