The Manor Arms Inn
We offer a selection of menus, samples of which are listed below at both lunchtime and dinner. If you are only after a snack, then you should find something that appeals on our sandwich menu! Fresh produce from the market enables us to offer regularly changing daily specials.
Everything is cooked fresh on site and we look forward to welcoming you in the restaurant. Should you wish to bring your dog with you, we have a dog friendly dining area – great excuse to call in when you are walking in the area! Large parties from 2 – 60 are also very welcome, please call us to discuss your plans.
Should you have any dietary requirements, please let us know and we will make every effort to accommodate you.
Yet again a lovely time and the food and service was excellent. They have changed the menu and have fantastic options, desserts are to die for!
Although I would normally recommend the Manor Arms as an excellent venue for eating and drinking, unfortunately I would not recommend their latest menu. We visited on Friday evening just a few weeks after enjoying a wonderful Saturday evening meal with friends and family only to discover they had recently introduced their spring menu. In our view, the latest menu is uninspiring, lacks depth and the choice and selection is limited and made worse, on this occasion, by the absence of any specials to choose from. To be fair to the staff at The Manor Arms, they listened to our comments and said they welcomed the feedback however they felt the latest menu reflected the change of season. They also explained that a Specials Board is available only on certain nights. It was a shame as we'd thoroughly enjoyed our previous meal and others we've had at The Manor Arms however on this latest visit we came away feeling slightly disappointed and a little unfulfilled.
We have been there several times and this is our first experience of Sunday Lunch.
We felt the choice of starters was limited and enquired if there was a pate and we were given a chicken terrain with a fig. We asked the server what it was and he didn't know ANY OF THE STARTERS. This young guy was obviously a weekend worker and did not know what he was serving and even when asked he did not come back and tell us - very disappointing! The service was very slow and I had to ask 3 different servers for the bill. Eventually I went to the bar and paid. The noise was awful - a large table next to us and I was with my wife and Mum and it was vert distracting so much so we wanted to leave after the main course but we had ordered desert.....which took ages.
I would recommend the Manor Arms but they need to sort out their staff and their product knowledge and speed - everything was slow motion.
The Sunday lunch itself was ok and again we had to ask for bread and sauces to accompany what we were eating; not that the server knew! For a first experience for Sunday Lunch I would probably not go back but dining during the week is certainly better!
Staff were lovely, food was stunning, ambiance was warm, inviting, cosy and relaxed. First time here and we shall keep coming back!
Excellent and unusual food - very imaginative. A pity that the service was atrocious - staff roaming about with no idea what they should have been doing - poor training, or simply didn't care. Will give it one more try for the food - otherwise it's curtains for me.
Really impressed with the sunday roast I had here. Beef was thick, succulent and super tasty. Just about the right amount of veg. Had a lovely chocolate desert too. Would certainly recommend!
Lovely as always! Thank you.
The food was excellent, as always.
There was a lively atmosphere with most tables busy, but the service was prompt with lovely, young staff willing to help and advise on menu choices.
I'm afraid I didn't catch the name of our waitress - striking red-head! - but she was fabulous.
Really enjoyable afternoon. Food could have been warmer. Vegetables a little on the mean side. Overall though everyone liked the Inn and would go back again. Staff lit the fire for us so we were very happy.
Recently enjoyed another visit to The Manor Arms this time for Sunday lunch, both of us had starters my better half opted for Terrine and myself Scotch Broth soup both delicious.
Both opted for the roast beef with all the trimmings, very tender and good portion size to boot.
Desert was taken by my better half, and once again didn't disappoint.
Overall very good value with the bill coming in under £60 which included a large glass of tasty Melbec and a couple of pints of well kept ale.
Lovely food, excellent service, great location. Would definitely recommend
Have used many times and always good. Unfortunately this time we were disappointed by the monkfish starter which was bland, and the pheasant main course which was a bit tough, hence not quite top marks on this occasion. We did mention this to staff. Everything else great. Certainly wouldn’t stop us returning though.
food great and well presented, nice staff but sevice suit the slow. Definitely vwirth another visit
Celebrating my daughter’s birthday, had a lovely evening and the food overall was lovely.
A few small things let the meal down. We had a fish platter to share..there were no lemon wedges, or mayonnaise on the board, which should really have been available. We had to ask for these.
Main courses were all lovely. The dessert however was not good. The pannacotta whilst nicely flavoured, was dense and rubbery. The opposite in fact of what it should have been. That was a real disappointment.
really great service. nice atmosphere even though it was quiet on the night we ate. The only one point that was not ideal was a rare steak arrived medium well done and cold. probably had been cooked too early and left on the side
Always great place and great food
Delicious goat cheese tatin! Would love to see another veggie option next time. Love this pub!
Lovely food in a relaxed, enjoyable setting with really good service
We had a fab meal the other night. Staff were helpful and when we asked questions about the menu were knowledgeable about ingredients. We were able to take the dog and sit in the dog friendly area too. Def worth a visit.
Very good service from the staff despite being a late booking and being a busy day. Nice food and average price.
The Manor arms was a lovely choice for sunday lunch. Floor staff were friendly and helpful, menu wasnt over complicated. Portions size was maybe a bit small, (mushroom starter) but presentation was fantastic, (duck starter). Both beef and lamb were delicious, however i would have always liked a yorkshire on my lamb dinner too. Haha. Wine list was great, and the primitivo was delish. Overall my parents are quite hard to please and they both left very happy, especiallu after the apple and quince crumble and normally the cheese option can never be beaten.
Tasty food, nice wine list, friendly and helpful staff, cosy country pub. Just what we needed.
Lovely country pub with great food and restaurant and rooms. Excellent menu with good choice of beers and wines.
Good service and a nice welcoming feel. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. A cut above your standard pub food at reasonable prices.
Definitely a place to visit
A lovely meal for my daughter's birthday. The food was very good indeed as was the service and the recommendations from the waiter.
A lovely pub just off the main road, tucked away in the village of Abberley. The pub has a lovely traditional rustic feel to it and is beautifully decorated.
I met my parents here as it is situated as a half way point. We hadn't heard of it before, despite it being signposted.
We were the first ones to arrive for lunch, so the place was quiet and a little dark. However, we were greeted by some lovely members of staff and the lights turned on and some others arrived to dine also.
There is lots of choice on the menu, from small mains, large mains, specials and sandwiches. I went for the fish and chips which was very generous, filling and tasty. Mum went for the fish and Dad the pork belly. We shared a couple of puds too.
We were very well looked after, good hearty meals in a lovely quiet location. A hidden gem and we will be sure to return.
Tasty well cooked and presented food. Great menu and on tap beer selection. Polite and efficient service.
We stayed two nights at the Manor Arms and would recommend it to anyone. The staff are courteous and very helpful. The menu is extensive for such a small establishment but the food is excellently cooked and beautifully presented. Much of the food is resourced locally and is very fresh.
The rooms are not large but well appointed and comfortable. We had a most enjoyable time there.
Very enjoyable Sunday lunch, with well prepared and cooked lamb and accompanying vegetables, followed by excellent seasonal crumble. Service was good.
Second visit and still very impressed. We have lived in Worcestershire fora10 years but only discovered the Manor Arms this year. Service was just right, food excellent and interesting menu. Our guest was visiting for the weekend from Kent and said she wished she lived in this area, as she enjoyed her meal so much. Sadly we are moving to East Anglia next week and so it will probably be our last visit for a while, although it would give us an excuse to come back for a short break (& see old friends!)
Fantastic service, incredible food and wow wine! Thank you VERY much!
Sadly as a couple we were put in a corner on a table for 2 next to a very noisy overpowering table of 5 and then a table of 4 at our other side and we felt totally closed in and uncomfortable eating with the noise as the child on the next table was constantly getting wrong but they choose not to tell him to stop stomping on the floor with his feet , it defo spoilt our lunch which was not cheap and would make me think before returning to try the pub again sorry but it seems more for the locals than visitors with staff constantly talking to people they know adding to the noise of chatting
Excellent service and food, we’ll definitely be back.
We had Sunday lunch and it was delicious with food selection of vegetables. The desert was also great. Good value for money, as there’s a set price for 2 or 3 course.
On the whole the food was good and would definitely visit again.
Found The Manor Arms online, and what a find. Excellent food at a reasonable price. Friendly service and beautiful location.
We regularly visit The Manner Arms for Sunday lunch, meet friends or for a date night. We can always be sure of a pleasant atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. We would definitely recommend it!
Not quite the standard that it used to be, but still a lovely location and well above average food.
Good staff, food
Good meal at the manor arms , really good understanding of dietary needs , only downside was the noise level coming from the bar area
Very nice food. Fast service. Quite quiet for a Friday evening.
