Our family run restaurant is open daily serving lunch and dinner. Our menu specialises in quality local ingredients from our scotch beef sourced from master butcher John Gilmour to our fresh seafood from Bernard Corrigan's of Glasgow.

Our bar hosts a wide range of spirits, varies selection of beers, a high quality wine list to complement our menu and a diverse cocktail menu to cater for all tastes.

We have an outdoor terrace that can be enjoyed during the summer months.

                                                                        Great food. We had the flat iron steak, but it was such a good quality that you could mistake it for a sirloin. Strongly recommend this place to anyone likes beef.

                                                                        Great food, great company. Cocktails were lovely and so was mixed grill. Some of the staff gave off the vibe they weren’t 100% confident in the job role. Was very good otherwise and will be back.

                                                                        We went for my wifes birthday, the staff could not have been better they took a photo of us with the kids. the food was great my wife and i got the sunday roast and it was really really good and the amount of food was great. We got a side of onion rings and it was a mistake because there was just too much to eat. Do yourself a favour and give Mcmillans a try your tastebuds will thank you

                                                                        My Perthshire chicken was good same as always. The steak my gf ordered had to be remade as it was too rare, the 2nd attempt was worse than the 1st and could not be eaten. This was removed from the bill. We are regulars and will not be returning around this same time of 4/4:30 as the food & attention to customers is poorly lacking in quality compared to the usual standard. The young staff left to run things at this time of day are too busy chatting and joking with each other to attend to their customers.

                                                                        Lovely, relaxed venue. Service was good, friendly and professional. Music was good and at a level you could chat too. Food was delicious and market menu had plenty of choice, even for gluten intolerants like me. The only criticism I have is the plates could have been better presented by adding a garnish to the steak and fries, for example. It’s a minor criticism as the steak and the pork cheek starter were cooked to perfection.

                                                                        Had a lovely meal and a few drinks it was my daughters birthday. I had asked if we could have candles in our dessert which the girls very kindly did for her thank you. We will be back to try more things on the menu. The staff were lovely very obliging and attentive. X

                                                                        I took my mother for a belated mothers day dinner. Waitress was very nice, great service all round, decor is beautiful, location is fantastic & the food was unbelievable. I will definitely be back & would recommend to anyone.

                                                                        Very slow service from waiting at the door for a few minutes to be greeted , after seating waited over 5minutes almost 10 to be offered a drink , food order taken 13mins after sitting down with no one coming near us until drinks came and we had to ask to order food , had prawns for starter were very good and calamari was outstanding with fair portion on both, ribeye steak was almost medium although asked for rare and very fatty to the point inedible and not rendered , mussels had been way overcooked and had shrunk to tiny and sometimes hard , Mariniere sauce was ridiculously salty and hadn’t been reduced at all which was baffling as mussels were so over cooked , chips and sweet potato fries were ok, didn’t order a dessert as £80 for a lunch was over priced , had looked forward to visit as heard good things , wouldn’t rush back!

                                                                        Food was excellent. Our steak was cooked to perfection and probably one of the best steaks I’ve had. Service was great considering it was busy. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

                                                                        I went in to McMillan with my other half, and we ordered the sharing steak to share. It was cooked just right and then drinks were lovely. Only thing I would say, is to make sure all cocktails are double strained! But a tiny bit of ice is not enough to not give this establishment 5*s Great service, nothing was ever a problem! Lovely staff.
