25 minutes late seating us. Heaters out of propane. Rushed ordering to meet kitchen close time.
Waiter apologetic.
Front of house staff, not so much.
Food was shocking came out cold and burnt at the same time. This is on top of
The fact half the menu was unavailable.
Hi HishamZ, I am truly sorry, that you did not enjoy your experience! Please email me directly at vikki@cubitthouse.co.uk and we could discuss this further. Kind regards, Vikki
Excellent as always. Great chill and atmosphere in a lovely place
Hi Noel, I am glad you enjoyed your time here at The Orange! See you again soon! Vikki
Excellent as always. Great food, service and location. Always return to this pub / restaurant. Definitely 5 Stars for everything ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Small portions for the money. Some of the bench seating ripped - needs replacing. Asked the waiter what real ales they stocked but his command of English was too poor to understand, even though he was taking the order for drinks.
Great food as always.
The pub itself is very cute and charming. The service was also quite good, unfortunately the roast did not much the expectations. The meats in the menu are promoted as being the high quality coming from farms, however, the beef was tough and the whole dish was served quite cold - not very the best value for £22.
Good food well cooked and reasonably priced, although the menu seemed more limited than pre-Covid and several key items on the menu were unavailable.
Best lamb , great service , overall very nice for meeting friends , branch
Our waiter was incredible! And the food was great as usual, we love Sunday Roast here.
Very good Restaurant, fine meals and very kind staff ! It was a good moment
Love this place, love the staff, love The Orange! Thank you for always being nice and welcoming!
Great food!
The pub was packed. The noise levels such as we could not easily communicate. The food was tasty but small portions and expensive for what it was. Our third visit - don’t think we will go again ☹️
I like The Orange - the food and the place itself is lovely. But today the service was very slow. Took a long time to order, then at least 20mins if not more between starter and main course. We were there well over 2hrs and ended up having to cancel our desserts because they took so long (two others had finished their coffees and the desserts still hadn’t arrived).
Sehr sehr laut
Fabulous as always
Outstanding waitstaff, Garreth, was informative, made great suggestions about food and drinks, and was a wealth of information about the areas around the restaurant.
This was a very enjoyable dinner with an excellent bottle of Burgundy.
I would not hesitate to return in the future.
Service was great. However food was a real disappointment and very expensive for what it was.
We had a really nice lunch on Christmas Eve to celebrate our son’s birthday. The staff were very friendly and attentive, topping this off with bringing out an ice cream with candle for our son at the end.
The food was very flavoursome. My wife had the chicken and mushroom pie and I had a burger. The burger especially was delicious, the best I have had in a long time.
Overall a very enjoyable dining experience, well done!
Crowded, noisy, poor service, terrible food, rushed service. Definitely not recommended
Delicious, home cooked food, with welcoming and friendly service. The pie of the day was a real treat. Highly recommend the profiteroles which were particularly good and a cut above the average profiterole. This was our first visit but we will definitely return.
Usual friendly and efficient service, hospitable atmosphere and relaxing setting. All food good apart from pizza (mortadella) which was doughy and a little soggy. Shame because all else was usual standard.
Have been here at least a dozen times, but recently service is spotty and food is lukewarm. Unfortunate, as I love the rooms and the menu.
Overpriced. £9 for a small plate of squid? At least the drinks were normal pub prices. It is a pub after all.
Excellent breakfast
They had no reservation for us and said they don’t participate in open table. They did seat us however. Service was very, very slow. We received 2 glasses wine after we were done eating and about to leave—almost 20 minutes after we ordered them. I thought we should send them back but my dining companions are nicer than I am apparently, so we paid for them and left them almost full. It’s right in our neighborhood but I don’t think we’ll be back
Great breakfast. Friendly service. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
WOW, Gareth, give that man a pay rise! What a superb host / Maitre D, Sommelier ! Could not have asked for a better host. Thank You !
Great little spot with very good food and lovely service
There was an overall pretentious atmosphere, especially considering it was a public house. We were rushed through our meal.
Return visit and was happy to have made a good choice for two friends who joined me. Garrett took care of us and he was the best. Burrata starter fantastic as was the ribeye and the lamb. The pork loin special was a little disappointing. Too much fat. Delightful upstairs for conversation. I will return next time I'm in London .
Always a good choice. Very close to my house...
Anytime its good
Reliable and delicious, as always, with the customary friendly staff. Warm and welcoming.
Midweek meet up with a friend - food and service is always good at the Orange. Can get very busy so book ahead :0)
Not sure if the chef changed but the Sunday roast wasn’t as good. Prefer the way it was before. The presentation of the food wasn’t great and potatoes were too hard.
The broadbean scotch egg is one of the best things I've eaten in ages, may have dreams about it tonight.
A lovely pub on a quiet road behind Sloane Square. The staff were very attentive and polite, the menu was good, although would be good to get a vegan option. The potatoes in the roast lunch were very dry, other than that a lovely Sunday lunch.
Children’s menu fish and chips has so much salt on chips it should not technically be “children’s menu”.
Virgin Merry was so spicy there was a mistake for sure.
Salad included cabbage that was black (using yesterday’s stock) and half in portion to other similar plates for other guests that ordered later.
When we asked waiter to cabbage up and after 15 minutes asked again he said it will come whenever it is ready. Service from his was pathetic
Lovely food and a lovely time all around!
