Very nice place for an exquisite dinner. The service is quite nice too.
We enjoyed the rabbit and the duck very much. The service could not have been better. We were attending a meeting in the Docklands and wanted to eat at at least one outstanding restaurant. The Peninsula did not disappoint!
Had a lovely time celebrating a birthday. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. i would highly recommend and i'll definitely be back.
Excellent service, very attentive and precessional whilst still being friendly and welcoming. Nice little extras such as canapés and delicious, well presented food.

We had a lovely table nestled in the corner overlooking the river, we had the tasting menu and every course was excellent. We had an early table and the restaurant wasn’t busy but it was perfect as it was our wedding anniversary x

was fabulous restaurant food amazing but paid for full glass champagne glass wasn't even halve full felt awkward complaining
Good view over the Thames. Travel is awkward by public transport, unpleasant walk from station and beware the O2 emptying out on your way back.
Enjoyed the 7 course taster menu accompanied by the wine flight. Server knowledgeable about dish and how wines complemented each course. Lovely experience and food was excellent.
It's the second time I've been to the Pinninsula Restaurant, and I wasn't disappointed. The food..the service and view was incredible..great music too..creating a very memorable experience for my wife and I. And I love the dessert you served her for her birthday

Excellent experience. Food was well above expectations for a hotel based restaurant.
The staff were exceptional from the mini bus driver spotting us walking to the hotel to the restaurant and hotel staff. Would recommend others to visit.

A truly special dining experience
Great service! The food was lovely and enjoyed the beautiful views. Only one glitch was parking. We knew that we had a complementary parking from the restaurant but could't find where to go. After being told to park in O2 car park, we went there with no other option left. Thankfully the restaurant staff gave us a note to get the parking for free (rather than £6). On another note, none of the O2 staff knew about the restaurant and could not gives the directions to get to restaurant from the O2 entrance, surprising!
A very nice place. A bit limited options as you have to choose one of the set menus but all in all we would recommend and would go again :) service very good
A really beautiful dining experience - nothing was too much trouble, the waiter service was excellent, each course intricately explained - food was very good and very well presented, along with some superb wines.
Good venue and great food. View from the table is impressive.
The taster menu we enjoyed (five courses) was amazing. The flavours and the detail of each dish was incredible. Portions are small as you would expect but by the end of the meal we were all satisfied. The location is very convenient for travel/connections and the views of Canary Wharf fantastic. Highly recommend.
I took my mum to the Peninsula for her birthday and i'm SO happy I booked this place. The staff were amazing, they were very friendly and professional throughout. I didn't even mention it was my mum birthday but they came out with a dessert plate with 'happy birthday' written on it. They then took a polaroid photo of us and put it on a Peninsula post card with 'Happy birthday from the Peninsula team x' written on the back. Everyone there made it a birthday to remember - Thank you once again I am so grateful. The food was great quality too, props to the chef x
Great food, great views and pleasant interiors. Had a 5 course menu which I recommend as portions are small + you get a few cute little dishes from the chef.
Service could be improved: all the staff seemed amateurish compared to other high-end eateries we've been to: from pouring champagne to food delivery, and bread took a long time to arrive despite the place being mostly empty (both times). That said, they were pleasant, I guess the restaurant just prefers to hire less experienced staff to save on the costs.
I would recommend again. the curtains block a fair amount of the view which was a little annoying. Food was delicious. And service was very good too, although food could have come out a little quicker.
Wonderful food. The £35 per person menu was excellent value, especially as it comes with appetizers. Service was impeccable. Drinks are expensive and together with the 12.5% service charge led to an overall expensive evening.

Delicious food, wine and amazing service. Quiet on a week night but still a nice atmosphere. Worth it for a special occasion, or even as a mid-week treat with the Opentable deal. We've visited a couple of times before and will definitely be back again. They can cater for veggie/vegan diets.
We did enjoy our evening at the restaurant and were keen to try this chefs unique menu. Our only problem was that our surprise birthday plate was not served to us on time. The staff seemed to only remember that it needed to be served as we were collecting our coats and leaving. I was very dissatisfied as it was for my husband. The staff overall and service was fine
Lovely, innovative food. We had the five course tasting meal and the chef was very accommodating about making changes (we don’t eat red meat). My favourite was the octopus and the gnocchi. Lovely views, staff and intimate atmosphere.

We enjoyed the seven course tasting menu, which is thoughtfully creative and supported by some not particularly adventurous but very enjoyable paired wines.
Stunning views of Canary Wharf, excellent, discreet but above all warm and friendly service made this an evening to remember.

This is an experience that keeps improving. Thomas's five course menu was delicious and correct with intense flavours. This is a service that does not hold back on the intercourse delights. The service here
is always good, timing can get a bit stretched at the weekend, but the atmosphere is genial and attentive.
Certainly the best fine dinning Southeast of the river. Always feel relaxed and ready to enjoy myself, I think it’s my favourite restaurant!
Dined 16th Feb and chose three course dinner menu.
All the dishes were carefully put together, the monkfish and bombay potatoe main was my favourite.
I have dined at many other London Michelin star restaurants and the value at Peninsula was great - would highly recommend.

Wonderful Valentines day dinner. The food, taste and presentation, the service, ambiance and everything was excellent.
We were very happy and will be returning again for a special occasion in the future.
Went for a valentine's meal after reading other reviews online. They weren't wrong. It's a nice venue with great views over the river. The food is pretty good. Small taster plates which seem to keep coming. Because of the location it is very quiet so you get fantastic service from staff. Overall quite pleased with the visit.
Overall, this was an exceptional experience. I must disclose a few points.
1) The staff seemed overwhelmed by either serving courses on time or the number of guests. Additionally, our table should have been cleared of crumbs after each seating. This was only done once at the end. I found myself clearing the crumbs from my setting and my wife's often. This is a minor issue, but again at this level of restaurant, I expect highest levels of service.
2) The table we sat at wobbled fairly bad. Two people attempted fixing to no avail. At this level of restaurant, this is unacceptable.
3) The food was good. There was a slight issue with one of the 7 courses paired with wine. The Mackerel was substituted for the brill due to no availability. This was not communicated to the sommelier and we had to tell her about the change. The chef needs to communicate with each appropriate head staff member to ensure a flawless dining event.
4) It was a nice fixture to have the dessert/pastry chef send us a happy 5 year anniversary dessert.
Overall, the experience was wonderful, but hampered slightly with some logistical/operational/communication and service issues. Having worked in the restaurant and service industries for many years, I can understand some issues, however, again, at this level of restaurant and price range, the experience should be nearly flawless.
Outstanding meal at the Peninsula restaurant prior to going to the O2 arena (the InterContinental Hotel has a direct walkway to the arena).
One of the best restaurants ive been to in a while, fantastic food, an amazing view and the service was impeccable. Highly recommended
We were dining out with our son who was over from Hong Kong for the weekend. We had a really enjoyable evening. We had the 3 course set menu which was excellent: The food was very well prepared and presented and full of lots of different but complementing flavours, truly delicious!
And the service was excellent too. What more could you want! We shall book again.
