   We enjoyed a very pleasant evening. The food was very good although my pizza would have been improved with more toppings and less crust. However we thought that the cost of the wine was extortionate! The service was attentive although a little slow probably because it was a busy evening. I shall go again but drink beer rather than wine!

    We usually enjoy eating at The Plough. It wasn’t busy at the time we were booked. So no real real reason why we received such poor, indifferent service. Our waitress seemed totally unaware of the needs of the tables within her service area. It may be some time before we return to the Plough after this recent experience!

    The food was absolutely phenomenal! Absolutely delicious. My elderly grandmother who doesn’t eat much nearly cleaned her whole plate because it was that delicious. The staff are lovely, welcoming, kind and very caring. Thank you to the gentleman who kindly gave my nan his fan to keep her cool. We had a lovely time for my farewell meal and I’m sure everyone will be back soon!

    The food was amazing and the service was excellent. It was an extremely hot day and one of the staff went a got me a fan (the type you hold in your hand shaped like a segment), it was much appreciated. Will definitely be returning.

    Fantastic modern pub with a brilliant Gluten free menu. Always good service and delicious food. Amazing customer service too if there is ever any issue. Hard recommend

    Lovely lunch outside in a shaded area in a booth. Very comfortable. My friends and i took advantage of the calzone offer which was very nice!

    Lovely meal, ambience great however service was slow and one meal we had to chase several times and finally arrived after most of the group had finished. Billing was poor charged for items not ordered.

    Food is always good never had a bad meal. Drinks are just getting ridiculously expensive especially the wine - £33.50 for a bottle of Prosecco is too much. Our waiter was extremely friendly but this can vary and some of the staff do not appear as happy as they used to be pre pandemic even though a tip is included every time.

    excellent food, service was table service only which was really quick considering how busy the pub was, this is my third visit to the plough and i have not had a bad experience yet, so overall i am very happy with the plough and will be booking again soon

    We finally got a booking and had a lovely meal. The Poke Bowl was very tasty and so was the pizza. Wine a little expensive but overall excellent and we will be back!

    So pleased to find this gem when visiting for the Commonwealth Games. Fabulous food and atmosphere and the staff were lovely. Kids and adults loved their meals. A winner!

    The waitress was very helpful especially with my friend who had a few food allergies. The breakfast was nice just the bacon was a bit over done and felt a bit over priced. Lovely atmosphere!

    We had a lovely dinner, 1930 was just the perfect time - not busy and we had the best tables available. Complimentary glas of proseco for our birthday was a pleasant surprise. The Plough indoors offers a great ambience and lovely atmosphere

    Really love the plough and come often but have to say service wasn't good today. A lot of people not really knowing what they are doing, not listening to orders correctly and getting orders wrong. Sorry guys might have to go somewhere else next time.

    Food was excellent as always. There was a small mix up with my meal and the staff offered to give us a round of drinks as an apology which was very kind. Staff are always so attentive and the atmosphere is great.

    Service was terrible considering it was fairly quiet. Very difficult to get the staffs attention. Ordered food online as it appeared that way would be quicker, food came and there were items missing- we were then told because we ordered on our phones it didn’t give them the chance to say they didn’t have any left. Food was okay but the service is a huge part of dining out so I would not return here for this reason.

    Ordered the Caesar Salad and it was very poor. Looked unappealing (like a dog’s dinner) and taste was overpowered with baco bits. Really unappealing and unpleasant. This was my first experience and unfortunately I won’t be a returning customer.
