Nice fire with friendly service
Met up with friends for lunch. A good varied menu, attentive polite staff, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, would definitely eat here again and would highly recommend to family and friends.
Booking app was simple to use which is great.Parking is a breeze, lots of spaces. Welcomed with a big smile which is lovely and given the table we wanted, love the area with the open fire, such a nice place to eat. Service was excellent as always and the food is fantastic, who would have thought Honeycomb goes with duck Pate. Just fabulous
Arrived 15 minutes early- no problem. Everything was spot on- food and service excellent. Stayed chatting for ages after the meal. Under no pressure to vacate the table.
Amazing they made a special day memorable an absolute gem.
Great food great staff and fantastic facilities x
A lovely late Sunday lunch. Thoroughly recommend it
Lovely place with friendly staff and delicious food
Food was gorgeous! Best pudding ive had in ages, fish was huge too
Great menu, some unusual dishes, Excellent food, presented really well, nice friendly staff, good atmosphere. The two things that stood out, the Gurnard Malaysian Curry, and the Knickerbocker Glory.
Service was very slow . Otherwise good .
We are regular visitors and the food is always a high standard. My rump steak was perfectly cooked and my wife's Malaysian fish curry was tasty and well seasoned. There was an unfortunate mix up in one of our orders which resulted in a longer than usual wait for our food. However that will not detract us from returning.
First time i have been to Plume of Feathers.
Took friends as a thank you to them and must say it was the best place to eat i could have chosen.
Friends and myself were delighted with food choice excellent.
Can wait to call again.
One of the nicest meals I have had in a while . Lovely
Great food, excellent service and reasonably priced.
A really excellent meal… great Sunday Roast, lovely place and great service!
Lovely staff, always happy and very helpful. Food is lovely, eat here alot of the time as best place around, deserts are the best, especially the chocolate brownie, best I have ever tasted
Definitely worth making the trip, great food and location
We went for breakfast the food was lovely & freshly cooked. Nice relaxing very friendly atmosphere.
Really enjoyable evening with great food and fantastic service. Thank you and will be back again soon 😊
Friendly staff, well cooked food in a great atmosphere, what more could you want?
It met my expectations, it was a good all round experience, polite attentive staff and the food was excellent
Always have lovely service and lovely food great atmosphere and friendly
Sunday roast, great selection of vegetables generous slices of beef with a huge Yorkshire, our only negative was the gravy was rather salty.
Very good food and quick service in a pleasant ambience
Excellent quality food, in a welcoming and family friendly environment.
Even though the restaurant was extremely busy, we didn’t have to wait for our food and the service was top class.
The food, as always, was fantastic as was the wine. The service from the restaurant manager was superb and other staff members friendly.
Lovely atmosphere, food was excellent, we had sirloin steak and could not fault it. Followed by desserts, again which were really lovely. Best place we have eaten out in a long time, would recommend. And we will be back again.
Great service, great atmosphere, great food! Would highly recommend and will be back soon
Sunday roast good quality and hot, plenty of fresh veg
First return trip in many months and we weren’t disappointed. Friendly staff, comfortable seating and excellent food in every respect. We will definitely be returning, sooner rather than later. Make sure you try this experience out for yourselves.
Lovely meal with my partner and my two children.
We had Sunday roast and it was delicious and it was a nice change for all the trimmings to be automatically served with the meal as most restaurants now want you to add cauliflower cheese and root veg mash as extras. Every element was yummy.
The kids meals were good too - especially the cauliflower cheese bites, which even my picky eaters enjoyed.
Really pleasant meal - friendly staff, high quality food, reasonably priced. Would visit again.
The food was excellent , a special thank you to Andrew the head chef for the sauce with my steak , delicious !
The waitress was lovely .
It would have been nicer if the fire was lit !
Will definitely be back soon for more of the same .
Keep up the good work Domi .
To celebrate my 78th birthday my friend and I each had the pumpkin soup for starters and found it lightly spiced and delicious, a generous bowlful that stayed warm to the last drop. Next I opted for the duck pate, which I thought a tad bland for my taste, and somewhat overpowered by the other flavours on the plate. I loved the idea of the honeycomb, and the salad dressing was an inspiration. My friend had the cauliflower cheese, and declared it delightfully different from the original. Neither of us possessing large appetites, we skipped straight to dessert and had our favourite: sticky toffee pudding. It was as good as we have had anywhere.
Service was excellent, our only complaint was the noise level caused by screaming children in the glass covered area, acoustics are not great there.
The pub is really comfortable, clean, well appointed and has a good atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and efficient and go out of their way to make sure you are happy.
The food is tasty with modern presentation. I ate at about 6pm and I was really hungry. Unfortunately, the portions of the main course were rather small. I had 'Pie and Mash' and the pie was on the small side, as were the mash and vegetable portions.
The accompanying liquor (gravy) portion was about right. My hunger was not satisfied by the dish and at £16 I feel value for money is an issue here.
The desert (chocolate brownie) was excellent - satisfying portion, excellent presentation, delicious and good value.
Overall, a bit of a mixed bag really.
Delightful dining experience, good food, friendly attentive staff and wonderful ambient surroundings. Would definitely book again.
Friendly staff, lovely food and beautiful decoration
first class could not find any thing wrong with the food or service 10/10 top marks
Excellent food and drinks. Only the conservatory was available for dining which was a bit like a school refectory with lots of noise and children. Service was fine until the end when we were left waiting for 20 minutes to pay and leave, which spoiled the experience rather.
To be fair, it was last sitting on Sunday evening and the staff were probably tired.
Lovely country pub/restaurant with plenty of parking. Great ambience, nicely spaced tables and well ventilated.
Loved the generous Sunday Roast and the quality produce used but our Dessert portion was disappointingly small.
The food is delicious even though, for us, it was served more on the warm side rather than piping hot.
We would definitely book again and recommend it worth a visit.
