Food was fine but I was very annoyed they u booked weeks in advance but still got put in the room at the side with no other Customer's and next to a dusty orange curtain. Very disappointed
As always, excellent.
Very good onglet. The potato rosti/chips were amazing
Lovely staff. Delicious food!!! A bit cramped seating wise...a bit on the expensive side.
Great spot for Sunday lunch. Excellent wine choice and fine food. Pleasant service throughout.
Another terrific dinner. We really enjoy the short menu of interesting dishes (that changes often) as well as the regular cuts of meat listed. Everything was well executed and service was unfailingly attentive. The wine-list is my weakness as I appreciate its wide range of interesting bottles that are fairly priced.
Great food, staff very friendly and a really special night.
Lovely food and outstanding service. Great set course lunch.
Great food and service. I like the booth but some friends found it uncomfortable seating.
Love this place! Been coming here since it opened and my favourite restaurant in London, and maybe in the world.
Excellent meal with well informed and friendly staff. Only slight drawback was the size and design of table in the wine bar area- even for two it was tight and legroom restricted
An excellent lunch in a comfortable environment. Friendly, non-intrusive service and delicious food. An interesting menu with offerings rarely seen on other restaurant menus. The wine list offers a good range of wines from reasonably priced to the more expensive. Fully recommended.
Another fabulous Sundat lunch at Quality Chop House. The tastiest roast beef in London in my opinion. Really friendly staff , good wine list. =Heavenly Sunday food coma...
This was our first visit to Quality Chop House, and we were not disappointed. Fabulous food, fabulous wine list, fabulous service.
We enjoyed a very unhurried and end-to-end delicious four course Sunday lunch with some gorgeous, interesting wines from the excellent by-the-glass list. The 2005 white Rioja was an absolute joy.
Can't wait to make a return visit!
Lovely dinner: a short and interesting menu and an extensive, decently-priced wine list. The food was skilfully cooked and the service was attentive. The bench booths have very narrow seats but we prefer them as it's easier to talk.
Excellent modern British cuisine with great service.
Highlights were the Black Truffle & chicken liver parfait, Smoked cod roe, Mussels, Angus bone-in Ribeye, Pork Chop, confit potatoes, Cornish pollack fish.
Very very good. Cannot believe it took me so long to eat here. Highly recommend.
My friend and I went for our birthdays and we had a fantastic meal. We both went for different options and thoroughly enjoyed them, the wine list was great and the staff were lovely. Perfect for a Friday night!
Lovely, welcoming staff who look after everyone well. The food is really delicious and has stayed true to the buildings heritage. Authentic interiors and good wine list. Great place to bring friends to. Lots of visual appeal.
Excellent restaurant and certainly deserves the good reviews. A varied menu with meat, fish, poultry and game options. The meat and game appear to be the highlight. Expect simple, beautifully cooked dishes served in a charming, unique setting. Service is laid back and friendly. The wine list is excellent and the olive oil ice cream is not to be missed. Highly recommended. Especially for the lunch menu which is remarkably good value for the quality of good.
Fantastic food and Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Still thinking about that steak
Very British, very tasty, perfect comfort food for winter. I can highly recommend the pheasant, although watch out for bits of shot (bullets), I found two!
Arrived for a 2pm booking, greeted warmly and immediately, which set the tone for service throughout. As Clerkenwell residents we’ve been looking for a good quality local Sunday lunch and now we’ve found it. Across our party we had the beef, pheasant and two pork, all were excellent as were the ‘trimmings’ - carrots being a particular stand out, roasties a little less so. Four slightly stuffed but well satisfied individuals left 2 hours later. The bench seating was nice, but we were all happy to move on once we’d finished.
Very high quality British food with some innovative combinations and presentation. Friendly service, pleasantly informal.
What an experience! Loved it from beginning to end. With one exception being uncomfortable sofa to sit on.
A restaurant I have wanted to visit for some time - it was everything I expected and more.
Every course was bursting with flavour, the high quality ingredients shinning through.
Amazing food and good atmosphere. Not cheap but definitely worth it
I loved it, all of it! Quite easily the best meal I've eaten all week and a lovely meal before heading off to Sadlers Wells. If you can, go.
We had the Lamb for two Sunday Roast and everything was beyond wonderful, the lamb and the entire dish was cooked to perfection! We loved it, we recommended to anyone for the Sunday Roast we had and make sure you tuck into the Jerusalem Artichokes - superb!
Simply wonderful
Very enjoyable Sunday lunch - food of a superb quality, attentive but not intrusive staff, and great wine list
Great seasonal products, skilfully prepared and presented. This is what London food is and should be all about. Excellent, thoughtful wine list too.
Great British ingredients, traditional recipes & very good value lunch.
One of the best restaurants in 10 years! We had truly fantastic roasted pork, lamb and beef with brick-shaped-fried potatoes. So distinguished restaurant. I’ll definitely come back there to try game meats with my family or clients.
As always a pleasant uncomplicated meal, in an historic setting. The accent is on first rate ingredients finely cooked. It was good to have a souvenir birthday card signed by all the people responsible for our enjoyable evening.
Had dinner on Saturday night. They uses really quality ingredients.
But for us, most of dish was too salty, especially sauces.
Delicious, friendly and fun as ever! Thank you for a brilliant evening.
The lunch menu is fanatsic. The mince beef is not to be missed.
Thank you so much for such a great meal.
Really loved the set lunch menu, was a fantastic choice and great value.
Great meal and experience overall for Sunday roast
