Speakers were so loud, ear piercing, that we had to leave. Some staff agreed it was annoying. Deafening! Even our teenage kids said it was horribly loud.

Food was delicious. I definitely recommend reserving a table ahead of time if you want to dine-in. Almost all tables were reserved and anyone walking in was told by management they'd have to look for a seat and take it as soon as it was available by the bar. This was no issue for me as I did make a reservation. The man who'd helped me was super sweet and even talked to me about my current stay in Edinburgh. Wonderful little pub, will definitely come back when I'm back in Edinburgh again.

We had a great meal here. The food was tasty, and the drinks were well poured. Our server was kind and attentive. Would definitely recommend!

Good experience for some leaving drinks. Would have been great to have the table for a bit longer but otherwise very enjoyable

I'm sorry hat we couldn't host you for longer - while we will do our best to move things around we're a very busy venue and all of our tables have designated times at the table as is outlined in our booking confirmation T&C's. We arrived an hour earlier than our reservation for a Sunday roast but they were able to seat us right away. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and the food was outstanding. I’m sad we’re not going to be in Edinburgh for another Sunday as we definitely would have gone back for the roast again.

Very good from entering to coming out. Attentive staff very polite and brilliant atmosphere. When back in Edinburgh definitely be back.

Great experience. Nice ambiance and service. Ordered the Sunday Sharing Roast. Not the most tender cut of meat but flavourful.

Once again, my dining experience was top notch. From the moment you walk in the door, the staff always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The menu has a wide variety of choices and the food is fantastic.
