Selection of Tonic Water
The drink has garnered its name from the medicinal effects of this bitter flavoring. The quinine was added to the drink as a prophylactic against malaria, since it was originally intended for consumption in tropical areas of South Asia and Africa, where that disease is endemic. The mixed drink of gin and tonic originated in British colonial India when the British population would mix their medicinal quinine tonic with gin to make it more palatable

Vodka
Vodka originates from Eastern Europe, the name stemming from the Russian word 'voda' meaning water or, as the Poles would say 'woda'. Poland lays claim to having distilled vodka even earlier than the Russians, but as this was a distillation of wine it might be more appropriate to consider it a crude brandy. The first identifiable Polish vodkas appeared in the 11th century when they were called 'gorzalka', originally used as medicine

Rum
The word Rum means 'Rum bumble' the noise produced by the cane sugar fermentation, and can be produced everywhere in the world as long as the country produces cane sugar. English speaking islands and countries are known for darker rums with a fuller taste that retain a greater amount of the underlying molasses flavour. Spanish speaking island and countries traditionally produce aňejo ron with a fairly smooth taste

Whiskies
The word whisky comes from the Gaelic uisge, a shortened version of uisge beatha meaning "water of life," also known as aqua vitae from Latin. Whiskey was originally used as a medicine for both internal anaesthetic and as an external antibiotic. Distilling techniques were brought to Ireland and Scotland sometime between 1100 and 1300 by monks. Since wine was not easily obtained in Ireland and Scotland, barley beer was distilled into spirit which became whisky

The decor is reminiscent for a 1980's gents club, pretty tacky. Decent drinks menu but extortionately priced. The place was empty, literally, in the entire place we were the only people ALL NIGHT. Not a joke. Won't be going back
