Pancakes were delicious and the atmosphere was pretty relaxed!
Really lovely, I enjoy a brunch every time I go and the team were so helpful!
Decent place . Nothing wrong . Portion sizes are small but I like teh atmosphere but I guess depends where you sit .
Food was small portion so I want full and tbh nothing special .
Always a great place to eat. Food is delicious. Service is great and attentive.
Excellent ambience, staff were great although sometimes difficult to get a hold off but the exquisite food more than made up for it. Strongly recommended if ever in Fitzrovia
Normally go for brunch, first time for dinner and would go back! Lovely food, great atmosphere, in Covid times we felt comfortably sitted away from others with a buzzy atmosphere still!
A perfect place to go to for friends catch ups. Relaxing cool vibes. Following Covid guidelines. The only thing is they were not able to be flexible in the set menu as my friend doesn't eat beef and they couldn't swap other dishes to replace the beef dish.
Otherwise, great night out.
Nice restaurant to go out with friends or for couples! Food was nice but not super great.
Very good food and excellent service
Amazing , always like coming here, very hard to get a table sometimes but food and menu is great
The tasting menu was pretty disappointing. We should have stuck to brunch. Given it was for restaurant month the flavours were ordinary and the pairings quite average. Not what I expected from them.
A great spot in Soho for working remotely or grabbing an early evening drink. Service was below par on this occasion (took far too long for drinks to arrive, a few rounds took nearly 10 minutes to arrive) but put it down to the tough times we're all facing. Gladly recommend.
Food was superb (I had salmon in miso broth with vegetables and my colleague had coconut chicken). Nice service - attentive but not too much so. Tables a little close for comfort and very noisy because it was busy but one of my fave places to eat near my office.
Great typical London brunch, very good food, and nice place!
Service was not great. They gave me the wrong order and forgot my drinks. Also the bread on the muffins were not nice
Hi KiranG, We're really sorry to hear that you didn't have a good time on your last visit to us. We've rebriefed our team on double checking orders and have passed on your feedback on the muffins to our chefs to ensure they run quality checks. We're always striving to improve, and so appreciate you taking the time to leave your review. We hope to see you again and leave you with a better impression next time. Fiona
It was a great experience. The food was good. I ate the best Mac and cheese there!!
Great truffle Mac and cheese. Terrible service. They took a long time to bring the food and then rushed us out giving us only a 5 min warning. They also have me a large portion when I ordered a small.
Amazing brunch- best pancakes! Great sever too, definitely will go again
Great place but a bit noisy. Food was lovely and service was mainly excellent
Our food was slightly burnt and and one member of the party said the burnt muffin effected the overall taste a lot.
I had the shakshuka which was amazing but the pan was scorching hot and even though i tried to avoid it, it burnt my skin and i now have a huge red raw blister on my hand - not ideal! and quite dangerous
Great food but absolutely terrible service - table not laid when we sat down and wasn’t laid for about 30 mins. 20 mins before anyone came to take a drinks order. 20 more minutes for our food order. I had to find a waiter to order another bottle of wine as nobody came anywhere near our table. No one cleared our plates or brought us desert menus. We were just brought the bill whilst our plates were still on the table. Service is always really bad here. Great food though. Wine incredibly overpriced
Great meal, restaurant well set up with Covid rules, felt safe and a pleasant place to spend an evening
The festival menu is great value with delicious dishes, although some work better than others. The accompanying wine flight is more hit and miss. You'd be better off choosing your own wine separately.
We had a wonderful breakfast for my birthday week. Love the decor and the seating. Food was lush and our server was lovely, friendly and attentive.
Would definitely come again.
Great brunch experience here! Recommended going again
Lovely service, staff wearing masks and shields. Food was fresh and full of flavour (brunch)
Food came out on the more chilled side, could have been hotter. Service Decent welcome from the front of house, the waiter was perfect And in job. Overall value for money.
Would dine there again.
This is a nicely designed, pretty trendy bar + restaurant in the Oxford Street area. If you can get a booth or bench seat - great! I've managed to both times I've been. The decor is stylish. It can get a bit loud, even during the pandemic so do note that. I like that there are different option sizes for the bowls. There are pretty good options for vegans too. The cocktails are excellent.
I had only been to The Riding House Cafe for a business breakfast before but when my friend and I came for dinner last Saturday we had such a lovely time. Service was attentive and he read the table well. Food was super- cannot fault our evening and my friend was really impressed with my choice :-)
I enjoyed the food and the ambience generally but the noise level was too great for my taste.
Always excellent for brunch and lunch. Great food
Really good atmosphere, near to oxford road so easy to get to
I have previously been here several times where the service has been good. On this occasion I attempted to call twice to tell them I would be running 10 minutes late (even less) to which my calls were not answered. I was then quite rudely met at the entrance and cut short when I tried to explain this, almost like being told off by a teacher. Understandably they were in a rush to close their kitchens however I had arrived before that time and therefore do not expected to be treated so coldly. Won’t be coming back which is a shame because it was one of my favourite places. You don’t know what people are going through so always try to be kind and understanding.
Please let me apologise for your experience with us, these are certainly not the standards that we strive for. We really appreciate you taking the time to get in touch and empathise that your experience was a disappointing one. Our kitchen does have a specific closing time, so it was more the host's intention to ensure you got your order in and were able to dine with us. However, we can empathise that his tone may have made you feel rushed, but this was not his intention. Kind regards Fiona
Amazing brunch! Loved it! Only two possible complains: shakshuka slightly pricy and americano coffee too bitter (although this is quite personal)
Have been to RHC on many occasions and it never fails to please. Very lively atmosphere, great food and service too. Highly recommend it.
Haven’t been in years but good and coffee still remain high standard. Great service by all staff.
Only down side was how busy and noisy it was inside - it was hard to hear, so we chose to sit outside. Still found the staff attentive especially to dietary requirements.
Would visit again sooner.
Great food. Good lighting and ambiance. Great for brunch/lunch.
The meals were wonderful, however, a main dish would not be enough without a side. The total cost was a bit expensive.
