Food was okay. Nothing special. Preffer american breakfast but the food is ok. Pancakes are too big and thick but taste was ok
The space was hectic, service was poor and the food was a bit disappointing
Great food, service and value I thought but very loud because it was so busy. However I would definately go again. Perfect for an early weekend breakfast
Annual birthday dinner is always a real treat at Riding House. Great food and drinks and always a lovely vibe with friendly helpful staff.
Dad and daughter dinner after separate days in London. Great food - really great food and a fab atmosphere
We enjoyed our food over all but my egg was over cooked. The egg is important.
Lovely environment and food but staff are not quick to check if anything is needed etc. We would’ve definitely had note drinks but couldn’t get attention to ask.
Spacious, able to book a table same day and noise levels that mean you can hear your fellow guests + food you can order and eat within the hour make it an ideal lunchtime spot.
Great service and delicious food! One of the best places for pancakes in central London...
Not worth the hype.
Essen war okay, Bedienung etwas neben der Spur. Einfach überbewertet. Für den Preis etwas besseres erwartet.
Good location, friendly and vibrant, with great service and food.
very good for breakfast (the french toast is divine) and brunch.
Great service from when we walked in! Seated ahead of our reservation time at our request, great menu with excellent quality food.
Good service throughout would definitely go back
Very pleasant environment. Slowish service on the Saturday evening I visited. Food rather salty and some portions small but tasty nonetheless. Pick wisely.
Good food and drinks, ok service. Maddening loud (and bad) music in restaurant area.
Great place for brunch with friends or family. The pancakes are delicious and so is the triple smoked bacon. 👌🏻
Great food, service, atmosphere & Fitzroy Twinkles.
Delicious as always, love coming here! Enjoyable experience every time.
I like the place but disappointing that there are no savoury vegan brunch options. I had to order a series of sides (mushrooms, avocado, toast, beans, tomatoes) and they came in little separate plates which was weird.
The food was really good and the staff very friendly ! Was looking for a place to brunch and was not disappointed
Great staff and tasty menu, great variety of veg & meat dishes. nice wines too.
Fabulous, inventive food, and lovely relaxed atmosphere. A real find and a great recommendation from a friend. Top recommendation!
Great atmosphere. Great quality food. Fab decor. Happy staff. REally tasty. Great
2nd time over here and it’s such a nice place to escape the fast paced Oxford Circus which is 5mins away. The service was amazing as well! Thank you
Frequent visitors. Good service. Full veggie breakfast was lovely today
I have visited Riding House Cafe on a couple of occasions and it has always been enjoyable, but not yesterday... I was served rock hard stale pancakes with dry, cold, overcooked (burnt) bacon... (rather than the fluffy American pancakes as advertised) When i mentioned this to the waiter he said that I wasn't the first to mention it, so he would take them off the bill. Nice, but not really the point - they should never have been served in the first place, so I left hungry. To top it all the bill arrived without us asking for it, followed by a 'sorry, we need the table'. Sorry RHC, you need to up your game!
Gorgeous food and lovely atmosphere. Bear in mind large service changes!
Breakfast muffins were slightly stale and we were charged for one coffee which we'd not ordered which I didn't realise at the time. Ambience was great but for the reasons stated I'm not sure I would recommend especially if my business guest had been the one eating the muffins. Thankfully she wasn't.
Absolutely smashed it with their brunch menu. You have to try the Chorizo hash and Kedgeree as they both are absolutely spot on with the taste. The service was delightful and very accommodating. Have to come here again!
Fantastic staff and great surroundings. Food was good maybe a bit overpriced. overall i liked it.
I always ask myself if i would go back? I'm still undecided.
Great location and lovely, friendly staff. My favourite place for a delicious breakfast on a Sunday.
Service was attentive but we had to ask for things several times and we actually ended up doubling on stuff like extra bread. The staff would get your attention but not act on instruction.
The food was good but poached eggs too underdone and muffins were hard.
Excellent staff,very tasty food
Really good breakfast, attentive and accommodating service, and very good location.
The service and the environment were lovely. The staff were great. The food was tasty but small portions and therefore not great VFM overall.
The service was really bad, we had to wait 40 minutes for cocktails without an apology
The place itself was lovely, and the service was great. Yet the it was unbearably loud and when our food arrived, my toast was burnt and very hard to cut and the scrambled eggs were very salty
Great food, beautiful interior, lovely staff! Will definitely be back !
The service was very slow, and the food was very average for the price. This restaurant used to be fantastic but has gone very downhill. I won’t be returning.
