Situated in Chiswick, west London. The Roebuck is a pub with a truly diverse offering. The open kitchen overlooks the 60-seater dining room. A great pub area and a garden that could be set in Tuscany- unbelievable but true! Whether you visit us for lunch, dinner or a drink in the bar, you will find a wide selection of craft beers, real ales, cocktails and wines. Our food is a mix of fresh, seasonal pub classics and restaurant style dishes, with a changing menu which takes advantage of what is good in the market.
Our team is vibrant, passionate, knowledgeable and above all friendly.

Good food and unpretentious staff.will try to come back soon
This was beautiful experience:) can’t wait to try again
Nice and interesting food.
Finally a place that go straight to the point.confort food
Love the beers and the prices here
Very typical atmosphere
I like the atmosphere of this classic pub.Hands up for the selection of beers
Good neighbourhood gastro pub, initially a little overpriced when first opened but now found its balance.
Excellent menu and great service. More a restaurant then a pub, this restaurant offers superb food in a classic English pub atmosphere.
Food great as always. Service at this restaurant is consistently poor. We had 2 training servers, making for a frustrating experience overall. Wrong plates delivered to the table, having to call over for service, frustrating when prices are a bit higher then most pubs in the area.
Had the burger and chips which were over cooked so hard on the outside and couldn’t eat it all.
Nice staff and ambience though. Friend has fish and chips which seemed a good choice.
Nice pub. Unfortunately we were sat next to a family, whose kids were bored. One child through food at my friend, the other child kept screaming and crying. Food was OK. Chips were delicious. Service felt very rushed at the beginning, but the restaurant was very busy at 8pm.
Great staff. Ok food
Lovely food, generous portions. Very friendly staff. Would certainly recommend.
The selection and food is absolutely amazing. Bread served is fantastic. Great wine.
Definitely worth going back to - hopefully when the waitress is having a better day.
Not eaten here for a while but managed to get a table on Valentines night. I had pan fried cod. Skin could have been crisper and portion was small but fish itself was perfectly cooked. My guest had burger, which I had a taste of and it was disappointing. Burger used to be good here but this wasn't. They were packed though so id try again.
Always good for a mid-week meal and catch-up. Welcomes dogs in the bar
Anatolia was a fantastic attentive friendly Server and made sure we were fed and watered and enjoyed our evening. It’s such a friendly place and staff make it amazing fun
I made a booking for two through opentable, got confirmation email, turned up, they showed me my reservation on their computer and then proceeded to tell me the whole place was booked and can’t serve us.
And that was it - no call to warn me, complete and utter disregard of what I should do with my evening.
Appalling management of the situation by the manager.
That’s one place I won’t try going to again.
Noisey and food was overpriced and not worth the money , service charge was 12.5%!!!! Its not a Mayfair place is just a pub... disappointing
Was great as always my only moan was the amount of people going in and out to the garden! It was so cold!!! My note to self is to book a table away from the door
Disappointed with menu, very little choice, very old fashioned and little flavour. My risotto was soggy, the Parmesan I asked for was not Parmesan but more like a cheddar, and I found the range of food very poor. It used to be a lot more exciting, bring back the previous chef!
Food was consistently good as was the service. Food arrived hot and quickly despite it being busy. My only reservation about the Roebuck is the variety in the menu. It plays very safe, and I would like to see a little more variety.
We had a lovely time however based a previous experience, this occasion was not the best. Waitress was not as attentive and caring as usual and he food felt like it had been prepared much early in the day. Otherwise enjoyable loud energic pub.
Service was slow although not very busy . Toilets broken and were stinking out the restraunt so that was a bit unpleasant. One of the meals came and potatoes were cold , so plate was sent back ,, only to be returned after being blitzed in the oven or microwave as plate was untouchable . They did refund the dish from the bill . Portion size for starters was very small ( pepper squid ) . Took a long time to settle the bill.
Great venue, good service and food really nice, always love going here
Chorizo scotch egg was the main reason I booked and it didn't disappoint. Duck was great too. Good overall service and all round nice lunch treating some clients at Christmas.
Great place for a Sunday roast, would definitely go back again.the staff were friendly and welcoming too.
Venue is visually appealing and location is excellent, however, this venue is overpriced for the mediocre food it serves and it has an awful stench presumably caused by bad drains.
Typical gastropub with good service though super busy on Sunday lunchtime as expected. Easy to find and found myself wanting to stay on until the evening as good vibe with mix of locals and ad hoc diners such as me and my friend.
The most amazing Roast! We went with family & had a great time. We will be returning next week!
Had my birthday Sunday lunch and it was superb, great staff nice beer that's all we wanted.
Dog friendly pub even in Winter. Great outside seating in garden for summer so no problem with dogs. But spacious inside and allowed to sit inside with dog too.
Great food and brilliant service from knowledgeable helpful staff
This was my second evening visit to the Roebuck. On each occasion I have had a really lovely supper served by charming staff. Worthy of particular mention are the great selection of gins, the home-made bread and the Black Bomber Cheddar from Snowdonia. I will go again when I am next staying in Chiswick.
Good Sunday lunch options, family meal or bunch of friends. Good value Sunday roasts. Not Wow but very acceptable.
Great food and ambience - good table given as per request for space with buggy..
time frame for dining wasn’t as long as we’d hoped though as told another booking was arriving so we had to vacate - always makes the end a bit awkward really but other than that - would go back for the food!
Had such a good dinner, really friendly staff with great recommendations on food and drink. Really good choices for veg friend as well. Finished with drinks by the fire outside with blankets provided.
Always friendly atmosphere. Lots of space so never feels cramped and noise is not an issue.
Food is a little bland but ok. Risotto always served with non parmesan cheese (more like a cheddar) which is not acceptable and needs to be changed.
Good service and ideal for last minute booking.
Very happy with our meal on Thursday evening
I've been a regular customer of the Roebuck ever since it opened and keep going back - it's been a really reliable venue in Chiswick for a decade and always a great mix of good value, good food and good service. This week I went and the service was noticeably a little less friendly/helpful and slightly more pushy. On the food, my main course was great (my friend's risotto much less good). Plus they do really need to update their desserts which have been the same for years, and are frankly disappointing/rather tasteless.
