The Roslin Beach Hotel Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
This is the second time that I have eaten at the Roslin, this time for Sunday lunch.
The service and food are excellent, the ambience is good, the tables are rather close together, but that is OK if your dining neighbours are sociable and pleasant.
I will visit again, not frequently as the prices are too high for regular eating, but on special occasions or with special friends.
We were treating someone for lunch so was apprehensive as never been to lunch at the Roslin before. We needn't have worried! We had fantastic food which was presented beautifully. Service was friendly and on the ball. We had a great table overlooking the estuary, so perfect all around. 5*
We went for Saturday lunch and the whole experience was outstanding, the quality of the food, the ambience and the service. One particular waitress ( apologies but didnt note her name) was amazing and nothing was too much trouble even down to cutting up an elderly persons food. Very well done and i will definitely be back.
We booked a table for two 8pm weekdays for our unofficial third anniversary. We had a table near the front window with a good view of the sea front and chose the set menu option.
All the courses were delicious and well presented and the waitress Ana Maria looked after us very well and gave us some good recommendations too.
We will definitely go there again.
Rather expensive for food and wine I would expect to pay that in London but a very nice evening and we were lucky to have had a window view but I would just like to say that the Dessert listed as Rice Pudding was not Rice Pudding as we know it.... if you class about a Dessert Spoon of Rice as that! It was very nice but I certainly wouldn't recommend it
Service was very good and staff all very polite and knowledgeable
a very nice evening thank you
Food was lovely with lots of choice within the buffet breakfast, ingredients were good quality. Good value for all you can eat. The staff made my daughters birthday very special and brought out a cake and sang happy birthday, also gave her balloons. Great view from reserved table by the window. Will definitely be back.
I booked to have the afternoon tea as a treat for my mum and sisters. From the minute we walked in we was approached straight away and taken straight to our table and was served very quickly. Even though the Restuarant was very busy it still had a relaxed atmosphere we was not rushed at all. The food was lovely and we all enjoyed our afternoon will definitely be going back
We took our daughter and boyfriend for a birthday meal in The Tides restaurant this sun 05th !April 2017. The view across the estuary as we walked in was wonderful as the sun was out. The room was buzzy and the staff and ambience lovely. Food was superb and almost too much! Best roast potatoes we've had in ages and other vegetables cooked to perfection. My beef was really lovely and everyone really pleased and satisfied. Had a real laugh with head waiter! The only negative points were the drinks seemed a tad expensive and i hate the service charge being included in total price. It's a top class venue and including service charge is very naff especially as the meal and staff were so excellent we would have tipped well anyway! Overall though excellent!
This is a lovely place with reasonable price dining small bar area but very attentive staff, my one and only criticism would be children running about in bar area I'm afraid at a certain time of the evening maybe there should be a restriction on children under a certain age in the bar area , I know this is no fault of the hotel but it can be a little off putting when trying to enjoy a drink
