Booked a Father’s Day brunch reservation ahead of time. We were seated 20 mins after our scheduled reservation but exceptional service and food once we sat down. We will be happy to come back.
Another solid meal at the Smith. You can't go wrong. Avocado toast and egg white omelet were fantastic. French toast was immense. Banana was a little sweet for me but generally everything was great
Both inside and outside irritatingly loud.
Food looked good but omelet and grits lukewarm
Grits without jalapeno and not nearly as good as at Lincoln Center The Smith.
I would not return to this location.
First time at The Smith and the service was amazing. First, we had a very nice and friendly hostess named Jessica. She seated us at a nice private table. Our server, Adriana was attentive, kind, informative, and very sweet. We were happy with our food and the recommendations. As you can see from our pictures, we are a lot. They were all delicious!
This is great for outings with friends and good for you and your significant other for a date.
Nice set up outdoors and their front wall of windows opened as well. Vegetable bibimbap was surprisingly good.
Our waiter reed was great.
Went to The Smith for brunch Sunday, 6/13. Ordered the Mac and Cheese (which was really good) and brussels sprouts (good but too charred for my preference). Also ordered the BLT+E with my egg fried hard (no yolk). It wasn’t fried as hard as I like, was a little yolk but not enough to turn me off. My bf ordered the french toast which we had to return. The slices were HUGE and he said the bread was soggy and the syrup didn’t taste like maple syrup. The orange juice he ordered also didn’t taste like regular OJ or even fresh squeezed. And it was $6. We didn’t return the OJ but just an FYI if you like orange juice with your breakfast. I guess if you use it for a mimosa you really can’t tell. All in all the waiter, service, and ambiance was good just wish the french toast matched.
Love the Smith, have been there many times. The portions are filling and the drinks are delicious.
Great drinks, good food, and amazing service! Family friendly place with good indoor and outdoor seating.
We had the salmon tartare and squid ink tagliatelle; both were delicious and we didn’t have to wait long! We then split the strawberry pie and, delightfully, discovered not a slice a pie, but our very own mini pie! Yum! It was a wonderful meal after a long pandemic and we felt very safe the whole time!
Food and drinks were amaaaazing !!!!! the Sticky Toffee Pudding was to die for !!!
Service was very good as well, will definitely be going back for more :-)
Popped in for some lunch with the wife. Our server instructed us to wait 5mins so we could take advantage of their happy hour (appreciate that). Food was awesome drinks were delicious. Service was excellent, atmosphere and music was on point. We will definitely be returning
Good food and good service. Will go back for sure.
Great menu for anyone to find something. Brunch was the perfect sunday vibe.
Considering the time frame on a Saturday night some load patrons but it was birthday so it wasn't a bother. All staff was really friendly the place was clean and had plastic barriers that you can see through which almost made it like it was back to normal.
I love the Smith. It’s consistently amazing. My favorite restaurant in NY. Get the chips and the Mac and cheese. You won’t regret it!!
It was a nice experience. Service was great and the food was fantastic. We got an order of the shishito peppers, demolished them, and ordered more!
Everything was excellent
From the drinks to the meal. Service was excellent. The waiter was very attentive
service was great! wouldn’t recommend the pasta, but the rest of the dishes were great!
Amazing service and amazing food. This was my second time coming and it was just as great as I remembered.
Had brunch here the other week, really nice food - we had scrambled eggs and French toast. The ambience is energetic, the food is reasonably priced and the service is quick.
The Smith is a great restaurant for the classic American food lover who wants something with a little bit of a twist. The steaks were phenomenal.
Always a solid meal and delicious cocktails Felt very safe and clean
Great brunch spot! Very lively and bustling which was a nice change of pace after not having dined out in a "full" restaurant for a while. Prices seemed moderate in comparison to other places and they had a ton of reservations available last minute. I got the Benedict Johnny which was delicious. Portions seemed on the smaller side but personally enough food for me. I also appreciated that they had dividers set up between tables, it felt a bit safer than some other environments.
The service was fantastic
And the food was so fresh
Excellent service and great food. We arrived a little late and they were super accommodating and got us right in. Great experience all around!
We had a table of 4 adults and 4 children, staff were friendly and the service was good. Good choice of food from the dinner menu and plenty to choose from the kids menu. We will definitely eat there again.
Sat on the sidewalk but still was a pleasant volume. Delicious food, super service.
I haven't seen my close friend for almost two years and The Smith was an amazing place to catch up and enjoy a meal!
I’ve been to the smith midtown and Lincoln center dozens of times. The east village one was slow on service. Took forever for the bill to come or for anyone to check up on us.
Great as always!
So nice to get back to normal!
Great food, wish there was more variety on the menu, but great healthy options.
My friends and I keep going back to the Smith - it’s our go-to place whenever we’re in the East Village. Food is great, portions are generous and the drinks are well made (and strong!). They also continue to social distance by putting plexiglass in between the tables outside - much appreciated.
The food was delicious and the service was amazing! Irving was excellent! We will definitely be back!
Food was great as always. However, a few kinks to work on with outdoor seating: can the tables be shaded better? Not only do the umbrellas not provide enough shade, they're also not very stable when a breeze is blowing. The wait staff simply shrugged their shoulders at this and we were left hoping the umbrella wouldn't fall over and take our table with it!
Went for brunch and had a great time. Yummy food and drinks and lovely outdoor seating.
