The restaurant was not full but still very loud. Would give all 5 stars if less noisy.
Sea bass was delicious.
Neighborhood restaurant -appreciate THE SMITH is open late-somewhat concerned my OpenTable reservation did not get credited on my arrival and I had to deal with the OpenTable "you never showed up for your reservation"
Great service and great food.
We love The Smith. It's my favorite place for brunch!
The food is delicious, It always has a nice crowd, it makes me feel at home. It's a must go place when in NYC.
Amazing food and drink here! My go to place for after work drinks and food.
We eat at The Smith often, and always love the entire staff. The front desk folks, the servers, and the busboys are all great at their jobs. The food is generally quite good, although the steaks aren’t quite up to par.
Very noisy and very poor service. The servers kept clearing our plates before we were even finished with our food. Sadly, we will not be dining here again. Very poor for a restaurant near Columbus Circle and Lincoln Center, which usually have excellent service and ambiance.
delicious food!! great service , busy and noisy but that didn’t deter from our dinner, just know it is not a quiet kind of place:)
One of my favorite restaurants: Good entrees, excellent kale salad, excellent Manhattan.
Staff made my party feel important. Highly recommend
Tuna tartare was terrible
Very busy, VERY loud. Food was good as was our waiter Vincent.
Unbearably loud in the back room. Conversation impossible.
Albeit the food is okay, this place has an issue about honoring its reservation commitment: over 30min wait past reservation time. No apology. Definitely not a great experience.
We LOVED our dinner at The Smith Lincoln Square. The menu has ever so many things we would have liked to have - and next time we HAVE to be there for the fried chicken Wednesday night special. The portions are generous but hot huge and the price is good...and that warm apple tart with vanilla ice cream is NOT to be missed. We’ve often had breakfast there but just recently began going there - we stay at the Empire just across the street. Wish Smith would open a ‘branch’ in The Empire!
A great place for a casual dinner or lunch with a menu that has something for everyone. Don't miss the potato chips with blue cheese fondue or the mushroom flatbread for the appetizers! My husband had the red snapper and said it was delicious and my niece had the gnocchi which she loved. My chicken was over-salted but not bad. The waitress was excellent; attentive and friendly. It is noisy so it is a little hard to hear conversations. Do make a reservation because it always seems packed. I was there at 6:00 on a Sunday and there was no room for walk-ins!
We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch. The great food and service was a wonderful way to start a Sunday afternoon.
Tables are too close so you literally have to move the table to get out. I ordered a regular burger and it was just okay, but a bit pricey. You’re really paying for the experience of eating at an iconic place.
Had to wait even with a reservation, but generally a good experience.
Love this place, perfect brunch spot with friends, lovely hip vibe, super friendly staff. Great for our baby. I had the BLT and E sandwich, simple but on a perfectly toasted brioche bun it was a knockout. Pecan pancakes, yum. Latte terrific, and finally great cocktails. Absolutely should come here!
excellent service and superb food. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and seated quickly. Server was very attentive and did not rush us. Food was incredible from the Tomato Soup, Spicy Salmon and Steaks.
The chicken was disgusting —full of gristle. I couldn’t eat it.
