Food is consistently delicious. Only thing I'd say was a slight issue was we were sat right in front of the door and it was cold (even with the blankets provided). Eventually we asked for the heater above to be turned on which did help but we could see other tables nearby also complaining of the cold, so maybe this is something that could be looked into. Otherwise, one of my fave places!
Great service, food and ambience. A firm favourite to enjoy dining out!
Lovely restaurant with canal view. Service was efficient and friendly. Seafood was fresh and tasty. Great ambience for a romantic dinner or going out with friends.
Amazing food in a lovely decorated restaurant along the canal. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Perfect for our anniversary lunch. Highly recommended!
This place never disappoints me. The food was outstanding as
Friendly, tasty and relaxed. Thank you
As always, we had a delightful meal in your beautiful restaurant. It is particularly appreciated that you were able to let us have our favourite table.
Lovely venue good food great service lovely ambiance
Great food and service. The restaurant has a really great atmosphere. Still as good as when we visited a few years ago.
Very good restaurant in the middle of little Venice, food was great atmosphere was great.
Beautiful venue, went for brunch and service was great but food was a little average
Enjoyable weekend canalside brunch. The food menu is not cutting edge, so don't expect molecular cuisine. But what they do, they do well. Service is generally good and unintuitive, but a little hit and miss as the place fills up and gets busier. The upside of that is a buzzy atmosphere, whilst still being able to have a conversation.
Great service, wonderful atmosphere
When wind blew side covering onto table knocking over full glass of wine , I would have expected this to be replaced. It wasn’t
Wine outrageously expensive
Almost £50 for a bottle of reasonable Chablis or Gavi do Gavi
Great food and service!
Nice location, will try for lunch one day.
Amazing as always!! Every dish I’ve had there has been cooked to perfection, well presented using fresh quality ingredients. Service is impeccable.
Lovely place, we keep going back, great location and service
Great food, nice venue and good location. Safe and practical setup even in the pandemic. The waitress was kind but really not up to the standard of this restaurant. We will still go back hoping to be served by someone else.
The food quality and service was fantastic! Excellent atmosphere!! We will come back
Great restaurant with a lovely atmosphere.
Delicious food, very good wine list, and charming venue.
Really lovely meal/staff/surroundings. My only grip is with staff reaching across our faces mid conversation (or ever) to refill our half full wine glasses. I absolutely hate having my glass refilled unbidden and, if they must, the wine should be on the outside of the table and refills should be barely noticeable.
That aside it was lovey 👍
This is one of my favourite London restaurants. I took a friend for lunch as a treat and she absolutely loved it too. As always great food, great service and lovely calm atmosphere just be the canal. Love it!
Wonderful setting for an informal meal - this was a business lunch but it felt more like a weekend brunch. Lovely setting
Lovely lunch on a fine sunny day on a table overlooking the canal.
Lovely evening: great location, attentive staff, fab food
A very special setting made glorious by a sunny, late summer day. My choice from the menu was excellent, my partner ‘catch of the day’ was a little inspiring and dare I say slightly overcooked! I would go again.. on another gorgeous day and when I felt flush with money..!
All of our meals were good. The steak was tough. This is a really nice setting. We would definitely return.
Brilliant lunch, wonderful round table and even though it rained, we had such a lovely time! Thank you very much! The restaurant was lovely and light, food was delicious and service was fantastic.
Lovely venue, setting and atmosphere. Food was great, though poached eggs were over cooked. Service was a little slow.
We were not informed prior to booking that we would only have our table for 2 hours. We were not told on arrival at the restaurant either. We found out when we ordered dessert and coffee by a very Curt waiter telling us he will check if we have time !! Not what I expect. Extremely disappointing and ruined the whole evening out with our friends. I have emailed the restaurant but as yet have not had a reply.
A delightful venue.
Made to feel welcome. Felt safe as well ventilated on the canal side.
Beautifully presented food efficiently served.
Was amazing experience.
We gonna come back definitely soon.
Lovely setting, amazing food and great service! Will definitely go back again
Lucky to have table for four by canal. Served by a charming Irish waitress whose pace was calm and efficient. Brunch was plenty and delicious for all of us. Really can not fault the Summerhouse, I love it here.
Very friendly staff and great service
Our friends came from France and we wanted to make a good impression: they placed us in front of the channel, with the ducks dancing in front of us! It’s was sooo good :)
Can’t wait to be back! Thanks team!
The venue and food were amazing, however our food arrived very quick and we felt rushed. We had revived all three courses within an hour and therefore didn’t feel as welcomed as we would have expected.
This was our second visit and again we were delighted with the service, ambiance and exceptional food. Overlooking the canal it is a superb setting and we cannot wait to return in the very near future.
One of my favorite restaurants in London, a secret gem :)
