Lovely restaurant, we were a party of four and each of us enjoyed the different meal we ate. We’ll be back soon.
The Swan is such a lovely place to eat and have a drink. The food is always superb, we always go there for special occasions.
Not one to leave reviews but last night was amazing. The food was incredible! I am Ceoliac and eating out is usually either impossible or boring. Not the case here, plenty of options with knowledgeable staff. Will definitely be returning. Thanks all.
Food good and if you don't want an item they will remove, although not offered alternative!
Great food, great service, great place. Something for everyone's taste and pocket.
Food was really good and worth the money however the service was poor, we were forgotten about and waited 45 mins after our food, to then have to go and ask for the bill to which there was no apology for waiting for so long, there were tables around us that got their bills and food before us even though we had been there the longest.
Nice sunday lunch with friends. Good choose including Vegetarian option
The service was appalling unfortunately. The waiter who showed us to our table chucked the menus down on the table and left us to be sit down without taking any drinks orders. We then had to go and ask at the bar for somebody to take our order as nobody came. Several other tables got their food before we did. They were obviously quite busy as it was a Saturday but they were not short of staff.
When we arrived we ordered drinks after about 15 minutes sat at the table, they were taken by a young man well built chewing gum as he spoke to us & then we sat there for a further 20 minutes waiting for our drinks whilst watching others on near by tables seated long after us get their drinks served 1st. I asked another member of staff & he checked & our drinks order had not been placed at all. We waited patiently & the young man was very apologetic for his colleagues mistake We were not pleased to be honest Food was reasonable but when our bill arrived we had added on £19 service charge without asking us if we were happy to pay it, which of course we have always but it is our choice upon good service recieved We were not impressed at all with our experience sadly this time.
Excell4nt food and service
The service is now that you order at the bar- this would have been helpful to know while we sat patiently waiting at our table and wait staff passing by didn't think to check that we knew :( I had the brunch- it was okay, but I would give it 6/10. Would be better if the muffin was toasted and the salmon on the side as it began to cook under the poached egg. I eat this a lot which is why I drew this comparison. The dessert was delicious, an easy 10/10.
Compared to previous menus we felt that the main course choice was less varied than before. Don't get me wrong there is a lot on the menu and the food was lovely.
Not really willing to pay £29 for a steak. The pudding sharing platter is a great idea and always has been.
Best gastro pub in Worcester by far. Good menu, wines etc could do with a regular real ale on tap or bottles.
We took my elderly parents who thoroughly enjoyed the food and the setting; that was primarily because there was little background noise but just friendly chatter. We were well looked after, dinner was prompt and the service was great.
Splendid Gastropub adjacent to J7 on the M5.
Ideal place to meet folks from around the West Midlands, or travellers en route on the Motorway.
Large and varied menu, well prepared. Good service.
Great breakfast as usual. Good service great for you g ones as well
I have been to swan a few times
The food is always of a good quality
But, the attention to detail could have been better. When the table was reset from previous service would have been a good idea to reload the cutlery.
Long wait for food but food good. No table service
We have eaten here a few times, however the food recently in our opinion is going downhill.
No taste to the chicken
The fun vibe seems to have gone.
Sad, because we used to love this place.
Great find and perfect for the halfway stop meal stop on the M5 we were looking for.
Nice breakfast although quite noisy in the conservatory and tables a little close
Great lunch and very good atmosphere. There were a number of younger families there but it was not at all intrusive and allowed an easy conversation with friends.
Very good food and great service - attentive but not intrusive.
I've been eating there for many years. Never fails to be a good experience
We were seated promptly and told that service was a little slower than usual. We intended to order Main and Dessert. Having waited 50 minutes for main and having to prompt after 30 minutes for plates to be cleared, we asked for dessert menu only to be told that we had to be quick to choose as closing was imminent. We declined and paid the bill, which was brought with an apology and already discounted for poor service.
Will not be rushing back to The Swan.
Only problem was service was rather slow but super waiter.
Goodness knows what has happened here. I've not been for a couple of years so maybe it's under new ownership?
first drink delivered in glass with two lipstick smears. King prawn starter (five prawns of the size you get in frozen packs) for £9 Tasty but a rip off.
Main course duck salad delivered on a plate that was dirty with dried on old food. Plate taken away but the food was simply replaced as the dreadful looking salad leaves were easily identifiable on the new plate. The duck was appalling and there were small bones in it. it was a gloopy sickly sweet mess on a few tired leaves. My friend's chicken and bacon salad looked terrible but she said it was 'ok' and she was hungry and it was going to be her only meal that day.
Waitress uniform was dirty and it wasn't fresh stains. That in particular is just awful. She was a sweet girl but didn't ask me why I left the whole meal. To be fair, I did tell the Manager afterwards and he took the salad off the bill. I didn't say anything earlier because I didn't want anything else to eat there. When the girl did come and ask the standard 'is your food ok' I didn't say anything - so they need better training. Not even a complimentary coffee was offered. All in all, that's me done with the
Swan now. Really quite a shame.
Lovely location, inside very welcoming and clean and tidy. Staff were superb, so friendly and helpful. Good menu choice, reasonable prices. excellent food and service.
Lovely fresh food. Very pleasant staff. Would definitely recommend.
Very attentive staff who explained things and remedied anything needed immediately
Food wasn’t brilliant, steaks were burnt and bitter. The sides and deserts were very nice though
I had the sticky duck salad, and my colleague had fish and chips. Both were delicious. I wasn't expecting the chillies on the salad, but delicious none the less.
Great meal and service. Young family nearby a little noisy. Otherwise perfect 🥰
Fantastic customer service. Friendly, efficient and considerate. Excellent food.
WE had both been to your restaurant before and had enjoyed the meal so we decided to bring a friend for a meal with you on Saturday, who was staying with us. The evening lived up to our expectations. Despite the fact that you had a wedding on the service was efficient and friendly and there was no delay in bringing our food to us. Well done!
Lovely, well presented, good quality food which was fresh and tasty.
Staff were very attentive.
We noticed that the menu choices seemed limited to what they used to be with more burger and pizza options available which probably suits family dining more.
Busy at time of visit but despite of this the service was very good and food served promptly. No complaints.
A friend and I meet here regularly and we have a great catch up. But menu had changed and so it got 3 stars rather than 4 stars - bring back the scallops!!
Service was very slow and a couple of the meals weren’t hot. Although we don’t have to wear masks I found it scary the staff didn’t have them on.
Myself/friends and family always return to The Swan because we love it so much! The staff are always incredibly kind and welcoming and the food is always to die for!!
We had the most amazing lamb shank and cookies and cream cheese cake last night! I could have it all over again!!
