The Swan Pub
We have a T-bone steak night on Monday night with BYO £5 corkage.
The atmosphere is warm and cosy in the winter and we're very proud of our wonderful pub garden which is very popular when the sun decides to make an appearance!!!
Our favourite local pub. Strong menu and lovely staff. We look forward to going there every time and we go relatively often.
We had a brilliant time having dinner at the Swan! The atmosphere was chilled and warm, not too noisy but vibrant. The menu was very varied and everyone loved their choices. The wine was perfect too, especially the magnum of red wine we shared!
Always lovely food and great staff. I do with the menu would vary more often
Great food and atmosphere. A really well run pub. Will be back soon.
Had the loveliest dinner with friends on a Friday evening. Great atmosphere, fantastic staff. My favourite place in Chiswick.
The best pub in West London - the food is amazing, the ambiance is friendly and warm, the staff are great and the landlady, Katherine, is a total treasure. The Sunday lunches are to die for so you have to book well in advance
Just as good ... like it always is, never fails! Really nice atmosphere and good food.
The best pub in Chiswick! Staff are so friendly and the food is delicious.
Had the Monday steak special. Meat was very good quality but would have preferred the jus ‘on the side’. I don’t recall there was jus last time I had this hence didn’t ask. It’s also BYO night so no issue with the drink prices. Drinks prices do tend to be on the high side. Nice Monday evening. Busy enough. Pleasant ambiance.
Absolutely delicious gastro pub food. Succulent chicken! All delicious!
Sensational food! Great service and a lovely cosy feel.
The Swan is the best gastro pub in town
Friendly local gastro pub. Well worth a visit.
Always my first choice for food, ambience and the BEST roasts in Chiswick by FAR! Love The Swan! And they made my birthday celebration very special.
A really lovely pub. Very helpful as it was my first outing with my baby and my parents.
Only reason for 4/5 not 5/5 is the drinks took 15 minutes to arrive! Apart from that it was lovely.
The food was delicious and really fresh. Great steak and chips! And the pork tenderloin was apparently the best my Dad has ever had!
Beautiful secluded garden too.
Best Gastropub in London
It’s a couple of friends local, love to go when visiting the area, staff friendly and efficient, food really tasty and atmosphere always relaxed and interesting people....
The place was recommended me by some locals and colleagues. The most important thing I want to say that if you decide to have food here it'll be good. Not memorable but definitely nice. The problem is that it's extremely expensive. I'm ok in spending money on food, however, for that prices, I expect exception food, not above the average pub dishes. Long story short, I won't come back.
Absolutely fantastic service. Food took a long time to come out, but the staff more than made up for it by following up, apologising and being lovely. Great food, great garden!
Great pub, great food, overall very happy with my evening there.
I’m a fan but this time the food wasn’t quite as good - specifically the wild boar ragu pasta large portions weren’t large (they offer a starter size portion and it felt like this is what we in fact received) and somehow not up to their usual very tasty best (they were rather bland), and the Yorkshire pudding was cold and stodgy (my guess is that it had been made much earlier in the day). Not sure what happened (new chef?) and I would still recommend trying this place, but its definitely a case of ‘could do better’ this time.
Perfect for an evening meal and a drink. The food is truly fantastic. As someone who originates from the countryside and loves laid-back classic English pubs, this place is such a gem to find in London.
Returned to celebrate a birthday for a late Friday night feast. The food is always first class and the service friendly and genuine. Definitely always worth a visit!
I’m south African and love my steak. We had the sirloin to share and it was probably one of the best steaks I’ve had ever.
Lovely atmosphere, good service. The paella was nothing special (bit lacking in flavour), but overall very satisfied.
As always, a joy. Food is brilliant, as is the wine list. New waiter seemed a bit unsure about doing a very small plate for our 9 month old but we asked someone else and they sorted it - staff are always a pleasure and very helpful. One of London's best kept secrets when it comes to pubs.
Great experience for a large group but very busy so service a bit under pressure.
The Swan pub has a friendly atmosphere and is a good spot for lunch or dinner with friends and family. Service is prompt and friendly and the food is good
We both had a tummy upset after eating first thingnext morning.
Think the chingiale ragu with my papardelle was suspect.
Great tasting food, friendly, attentive staff and really good value. Calamari for the mrs. I had pork terrine to start, both well presented & very tasty. Tuna for me, risotto for mrs. sorbet and chocolate tart for desserts, coffees and a generous large calvados, £70 inc service charge. Bargain. We eat out a lot and have high expectations which often are not met. We’ll be back .. soon
We had a delicious Sunday Roast. My daughter had some sausages that were a bit overcooked, which was a shame. I definitely recommend it.
We live locally and this is definitely our preferred pub - the garden is beautiful, staff are friendly and the pub is run by a lovely landlady! :)
Very enjoyable Sunday lunch experience in relaxed atmosphere. Really good service and food.
The Swan is a favourite.
On this occasion service was poor and slow. Not the usual attentiveness.
Sunday lunch was dry.
Not the usual standard from such a lovely pub.
The Swan is a lovely pub with AMAZING food; a lot is Italian inspired and I can tell you it is truly delicious. They also have a great wine list, lots of gin, lovely service, and a friendly busy vibe. Love this little local gem!
Another brilliant meal at the Swan.
Lovely staff, food spot on - delicious, fresh & our whole table of 7 were happy with their meals. Only slight critique was the extra large and rather dry Yorkshire puddings - but that seems to be the trend these days!
We have been before but this time was better! Excellent service and delicious food. We will be back!
My roast wasn’t overly hot, our crumble didn’t have a crumble topping but some granola. It was nice, but shouldn’t be called a crumble. Sticky toffee pudding, which I’ve had many times had halved in size but price the same. Usually pleased but this time was adequate.
It was our first visit to the Swan, attracted by good reviews.
The Sunday roast offering was excellent, with good lean roast beef and a generous
As ever, a totally excellent experience...!
