Great spot for brunch lots of variety and big pots of tea!
We went for brunch for a special occasion and was really impressed with food. Would definitely go back and try something else of the menu!
Have eaten here for brunch and always had a lovely meal. Wouldn’t recommend for lunch, over priced burgers which were really not good at all.
Very kind and excellent! I visited at 8:00 on Sunday before the start of business, but it was kindly welcomed and served a hot tea. The food was excellent at the level of 7-8 pounds. Recommendable to anyone. It seems to appeal a lot of families. We even come by taxi.
Went for brunch. Great service, very friendly stuff but the food could be better for that price. Bread could be toasted better and the overall plate could be warmer.
Food consistently good, not a massive menu but what they have they do well. Service is always prompt and friendly.
Great spot! Menu had a nice variety, servers were really friendly and accomodated our wish to sit inside despite the fact that we had a reservation for outside. Food was delicious and value for money was good!
An excellent meal at a good price with friendly and efficient service.
Great lunch! Came here with friends - great food and very friendly. Would highly recommend!
Good food for brunch
Very high music and noise level
Airhead waitresses ( 3 mistakes)but very pleasant smile
Very good food and nice for brunch. Service was friendly but a little too laid back; we wanted for 15 minutes past our reservation time to be seen let alone seated and it took some time for our orders to be taken, bill paid etc. This is fine providing you are in a ‘lazy Sunday’ mood which we were.
Stumbled on this place via Google, glad I did as it was excellent. Very friendly and attentive staff, excellent food, nice place with a good vide. I will definitely be back!
It’s a nice spot and the food and drinks were decent - a bit overpriced unfortunately and the service was a bit rude - basically just waiting for you to leave again quickly.
A lovely brunch place, away from the tourist crowds. Lively, buzzing and friendly with a casual ambiance. Food was fresh and tasty and the service was perfect. Highly recommend a visit.
Food was lovely! A great variety of veg & vegan options. Service was fine but nothing out of the ordinary.
A disappointing Friday lunch. Service was incredibly slow, with long waits and the need to prompt at every stage. The food uninspiring and overpriced.
Plenty of choice in the Brunch menu. However, when I had looked at the menu earlier on line, I had not noticed that they were only serving the brunch menu. it was not made clear anywhere. Nonetheless, the food was good and our 'fussy' eater had plenty to choose from. Perhaps a good idea to point out that Sunday menus are different.
Food very tasty, well presented and plentiful. Staff delightful, efficient and speedy. Seating outside was enjoyable. They have not crammed tables together.
There are only two loos, one of which - the disabled loo! - was out of order - door handle not operating. . And the other one was without toilet paper. This situation is something that needs to be sorted. Loos need to be functioning, and have paper, so need to be checked frequently. The restaurant was very busy so the loos were in great demand.
But we would return. And we would recommend it to others.
Great meal as usual. Service a bit stretched because it was so busy. Vibe good - really enjoyed the meal
Can’t fault this place, great food, great venue, reasonable price. 100% will come back
This was our second time to this restaurant. Our first experience was poor so we thought we’d give it a second chance. Unfortunately it was the same experience. Poor staff, poor service, poor food. Not sure why it always seems busy. Way overpriced for what you get.
Love this cafe! Great staff and fabulous food - but always busy so worth booking in advance. Will definitely be back.
Warm welcome and served with tap water straightaway. We were up against a deadline and were served quickly without being rushed. On requesting an alternative to brioche bun with the Home Burger, sourdough was suggested - good choice. Succulent burger and not over-served with chips. Good for a quick lunch or a lingering lunch in the outdoor space.
First time at the Table Cafe, with a friend for brunch on a Sunday. Despite being mad busy service was really quick and friendly. I had a rhubarb Bellini which was lush, and also a full English breakfast, which was really nicely cooked with good quality ingredients, not greasy and nasty at all. The waffles also looked really good. Would definitely return!
Really enjoyed brunch at the Table: we had a nice outside space and the service was excellent.
Service was very poor, we waited for about 20 minutes until someone took our order, then another 20-30 for the food. Food was tasty but quite overpriced for portion sizes. We avoided ordering dessert fearing it would be another half an hour before it arrived, and had to wait even longer for a card reader. Suggested tip was very high was lack of service. Was very disappointed.
Service was painfully slow and doors left open to facilitate serving rather than keeping customers warm. Waited 40 minutes for food. However the food was good and location ideal for Tate Modern. As we had timed tickets we didn’t have time for coffee or a desert...not good for us or the accounts
Great breakfast spot! Either full English or avocado on toast are my favorite. Fresh orange juice and great coffee. All that you could want to start your day in London! May want to reserve in high season as they do get busy.
Really pleasant experience, friendly staff, clean fresh environment. Excellent food. Good location and good outside eating area. Very pleasant for mid-week brunch. Would definitely recommend
The outside area was lovely and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Good brunch options for those who like savoury and sweet!
Excellent food and fantastic service, we were made very welcome. We enjoyed various items from the brunch menu- all were excellent in flavour and quantity. I can particularly recommend the pumpkin pancakes!
Lovely place. Have been here quite a few times for brunch and it never disappoints. The English breakfast on a waffle is especially great. In the summer it's worth sitting outside as it's in a quiet area away from traffic, so it's ideal for a catch-up
This place is always a great dining experience, my family rejoice when I name it.
We visit The Table Cafè at brunch or dinner and is consistently outstanding!
A very friendly staff is ready to tailor your experience with a big smile.
The spotlight is promptly stolen by their dishes.
They look as good as they taste and are made with carefully sourced ingredients.
Locally sourced Beers in rotation and a good wine selection will bring you near and far on a flavour journey.
Make room for a dessert too, you won’t be disappointed.
And the smiles again, at some point you’ll be confused on who’s enjoying more…
Wow, will definitely be back again!
Went for brunch on a weekday. Although I had already called to establish that the brunch specials were available on a weekday the waiter didn't know this and didn't bring us the brunch menu. And seemed very confused about this. The waiter also didn't know what the homemade sodas were. The outside "terrace" is rather bleak and uninviting. Food was fairly average. Wasn't terrible but a bit of a disappointment. Wouldn't rush to return.
It's good, the chips where crispy, the burger was nice, could of been faster service but it was packed, ice cream was OK but needs improving, overall its good.
Fabulous brunch choices, great food and excellent service. - thank you!
Super nice staff, perfect brunch food! Service was fast and we had a great time. I would definitely go back :)
We’ve been here for breakfast a few times before (the first was our anniversary and this time was our anniversary also) The breakfast menu has got smaller on each visit but this time my full English was substandard. My medium eggs were well done and the bacon looked grey around the fatty bits. My cup of Mocha was hot whilst my wife’s was luke warm although they were delivered at the same time.
This was a good lunch. We had the burger and the pork belly and both were tasty. The triple cooked chips were cooked at least once too many times for my taste, but that's just me. Wasn't very busy when we were there for lunch. Not sure we'd go back, unless we were passing and hungry.
I love this place. I've been for dinner and brunch and the food and service has been great on all occasions. It is particularly buzzy for brunch on the weekends and the choice is great. This visit was a quiet, late Monday dinner and the onglet steaks were perfection. Other gems are the cocktails, a particular favourite being the Dirty Dirty Lilt, created by their own bar manager - delicious!
4 of us had brunch here. The food was great and tasty - a little expensive for what we got but the options, especially the vegetarian options. The service was slow (and the restaurant wasn't that busy) when we ordered a second course, it didn't turn up for ages. We asked about it and the staff realised they hadn't put the order in. After this it still took over 20 mins to get some pancakes and a member of our party had to leave before it arrived. This was a problem as we were told, when we booked, we could only have the table for 2 hours so my friend made plans for after brunch but we had the table for longer (great!) but the service was slow.
