Lovely delicious food and very friendly staff. They accomadated our baby daughter easily, and made her laugh lots. The meal was very tasty with an interesting menu offering something for everyone, while being refreshingly different from the run of the mill pub menu you typically see.
You will not get better value for money quality cooking than this.
The service is also very good and even take note of who orders which dish which is very unusual for a pub restaurant
Always great experience at Three Oaks. But would have liked a nice salad on the menu for lunch. Everything seemed to have a form of carb in it.
First visit for weekday lunch treat. The food was lovely - imaginative, flavoursome and freshly cooked. Staff friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Lovely spot. You need to get a sign that’s more visible from the road as we drove straight by the first time and had to double back!
Highly recommended. We’ll be back.
Yummy food, lovely atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff.
Second time we have been to The Three Oaks for Sunday lunch and it was a great experience once again. The service was really good. We had to slightly adjust our table due to a larger party, which was not a big deal, however the waitress and manager were extremely apologetic, which was nice. The food is very good indeed and is a very high standard. Many local pubs could learn some significant lessons from the Three Oaks. As an all round experience, the food quality, the well trained staff and the professional approach, the Three Oaks takes some beating.
Met here for a catch up with the girls after work. Lovely relaxed, cosy atmosphere where the excellent service didn’t intrude on the conversation! Some consider it quite pricey for a gastro pub but all the dishes were beautifully cooked with some imaginative and unusual ingredient combinations which take it out of the ordinary. Highly recommended.
Delicious food and nice ambience
Very good Servis ,amazing food and large portions 😋😋👍👍
Super place to go to. Have been numerous times and am impressed every time
The food is at a high quality and good value. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only slight drawback was the waiting time for the food.
Delicious meal in lovely surroundings with friendly and helpful staff
As always- really lovely food cooked to a very high standard. Our favourite restaurant- great value for the quality
First rate meal. Fresh, unfussy, delicious. Great service and good value too. Top notch.
Excellent meal but a bit pricey friendly staff and service will be going there again
I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE SET LUNCH MENU. WE DID NOT REALISE THAT YOU HAD TO PAY EXTRA FOR VEG AND POTATOES. SO VERY POOR VALUE.
Great food and good choice of wines. Service second to none, ambience always lovely, 2 minutes from home so a real local treat. Thank you.
I have eaten at the Three Oaks on a regular basis over a number of years.
For the first time I was underwhelmed by the experience.
Did not like our table position close to the bar where groups can stand.
Food is exceptional and service is very good. I only wish they would give the outside of the building fresh coat of paint as it looks very dilapidated from the exterior.
The food is always very good with very good service.
Excellent meal as always. Food and service never fails to deliver.
Excellent food was my partners birthday
Staff very friendly and attentive
Will go back for evening dinner as only had lunch this time
A little pricey but it is very good food
Could not believe how delicious the food was and right on our doorstep too. This will certainly become a regular feature in our foodie favourites!
Absolutely delicious meal birthday treat for husband
Fourth time visited, fourth time I loved it. Outstanding food with outstanding service. Great combination.
The best steak I have eaten for a long time and good atmosphere for a Monday night.
Amazing modern food! Great staff, open all day so no rush, parking onsite.
Have to have three courses, so delicious.
We really enjoyed everything about this restaurant.
Not your typical gastro pub as it is more relaxed and extremely good.
This is a real Gem of a place, cannot fault it. I went for Sunday Roast and it was delicious.
The food was absolutely amazing . I had the special lamb shank and the intriguing cauliflower starter . This place is a real treat with great waiting staff . Worth it
We have eaten at the Three Oaks many times. The food is very good and the service excellent.
Know in the area for good service and good food. We were a group of 4 friends meeting up for a Sunday lunch. Ambiance and service couldn’t be faulted. Prices for set Sunday lunch, roast beef, lamb and pork are reasonable while À La Carte options are not so keenly priced.
Our group had 3 roast lamb and a sirloin with chips, 8oz sirloin was cooked to perfection so I didn’t mind paying the slightly high price, the roast lamb portion was rather small but the meal again was cooked to perfection. I mentioned the portion size to the delightful lady who was serving us and to their credit a fuss wasn’t made and another portion of lamb was deliver to the table.
Very enjoyable afternoon with friends that was brought to an abrupt end as the tables for 4 people are reserved for 2hours when booked online. You can get an extension if you phone your booking, tables for 5 or more are for 3hours. Do book in advance, it’s very good so it’s very popular.
Absolutely stunning food. I cannot rate this place highly enough. Innovative food pairings and truly friendly and efficient service. I am going to be a repeat customer - their set lunch is an absolute bargain and we were both blown away. Simply superb.
Initial disappointment when we were offered a table in the hallway next to the door on a bitterly cold day, especially when there was no one else in the restaurant - not a good start to a celebratory lunch. Food was excellent, every dish packed with flavour and a very good value ‘set’ lunch menu.
Beautifully cooked and deliciously tasty as ever, with excellent service.
I can’t express enough how amazing this place is,the food was outstanding the service was fantastic,if your planning a visit book in advance too avoid disappointment,I would recommend you give the three oaks a try I promise you won’t be disappointed and you will be definitely going back after the first visit
We always get a welcome reception by a polite members of the team and a delicious meal with plenty of choice of wine and food.
One of my favourites and family to have lunch or dinner here, just keep taking friends, menu always good
lovely Valentine Day lunch, although we ate off the main menu - really delicious food, the chicken was exceptional and the cinnamon panna cotta very unusual, a real treat
Lovely lunch for my husband's birthday. He is a bit of a foodie and quite fussy so I was delighted that he enjoyed it so much.
