The Three Oaks
Always great service and good food
Not your average Pub meal, they must have some great chefs , as food was lovely, and nicely presented,
We had not heard of this place before, but had a voucher, so a great find , couple of points on voucher though,
Should have conditions on it , ie not weekends! , etc could’ve saved a lot of embarrassment,
Best Sunday lunch our guests had eaten for some time followed by outstanding desserts.
Food is out of this world and the staff just as good. Highly recommended.
The food was sublime. The chef always manages to create dishes with a great mix of flavours. The service was excellent- friendly but also professional . Wonderful evening .
Lunch with a friend.
We just love this restaurant and we both said we have never had a bad or disappointing meal @ The Three Oaks. The food is great, good welcoming ambience, lovely staff and lots of choices and a very keen priced set lunch menu.
We went on a Thursday lunchtime and the placed was packed! so lots of there people obviously think the same.
Please just keep doing what you all do so well.
and............. see you again soon.
My friend and I went for lunch, it was really nice and the food was lovely.
This is the first time I have had a disappointing experience at the Three Oaks. The main course arrived tepid with the plates cold. The staff did offer to recommend but we were short of time as it took quite a while to arrive. The bill was reduced. I would still recommend the Three Oaks as I have had many good meals there and I hope this was a one-off
Fabulous menu, food, atmosphere and service! It’s our favourite restaurant. On our anniversary they presented us with a tasty desert plate with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate.
Lovely meal, part a la carte and part set meal. Really enjoyed. The restaurant was so busy for a Wednesday lunch time. Proves how good the Three Oaks is.
excellent, good food, friendly staff, good value for money
We enjoyed the steak night on a Monday and find the steaks to be the best in the area, above the steak restaurants in Gerard’s cross and Beaconsfield. The service is outstanding really friendly and helpful And we always enjoy having a meal there and invite friends from further afield to join us.
Excellent food and service at a sensible price. Back again on Friday
Friendly service, fantastic food!
Totally recommend as a relaxed treat.
Once again the food was lovely .
Great choice and perfectly cooked .
Restored my faith, following a very disappointing Christmas lunch in December.
Enjoyable evening, great food. Marred a little by a very noisy table nearby, also would have been good to be prewarned about very salty smoked salmon starter. Bill came to more than expected, despite 15% voucher, hence not as good value as I remember.
Great food, great service, can’t wait to go back and hopefully will soon
I have visited here many times and the food is always good and very tasty. My only gripe is the set lunch menu doesn’t offer enough choice for me. My friend and I chose our main courses from the main menu. However, as the main menu dishes are larger we couldn’t manage a starter, main and dessert!
What a tasty meal. The st meal was excellent value. And the staff were lovely
Always delightful. Highly recommend. The food is fantastic and it comes with a good wine list.
Went for the steak night. Steak perfectly cooked and great value as no corkage charge on BYO.
Great evening, food good, service was not in your face the whole time, but you only needed to look up and service was there! Not rushed at all.
Exquisite meal and first class service, which was perfect for a birthday celebration. There were extensive gluten free options too.
As always, excellent value for money and staff so very friendly. To
Excellent food. Efficient service. Restaurant area (predominantly open-plan) became a bit noisy as it got more and more busy. But would definitely return.
Delicious Sunday lunch as always. Service was a little slow this time.
Food served very late and felt uncomfortable waiting that long with four young children.
Very attentive, friendly and personalised service
Great Sunday lunch!
This was our second visit to The Three Oaks and we are happy to say that we would return again at some time. The only downer was that the service was rather slow - it took about 20 minutes to take our order. Our food was delicious and the atmosphere was nicely active.
All food beautifully cooked even on a very busy Sat night . Duck cooked to perfection .
Great service, food and location!
Have not the smallest of problems recommending the three oaks to all and any of my friends. The service and food is consistently superb. Nothing is ever too much for the waitresses/waiters to do. There’s always a wonderful; hospitable feel to the place. Will be visiting again in the not too distant future.
Been here a few times for different occasions....never been disappointed.....will always be a favourite
The food and service was excellent as normal, especially the fish that is always fresh and beautifully presented.
It was a nice lunch, although the room was quite cold. We were told the radiators did not work, but that a heater was on, although we didn't feel any benefit from it. Food was nice, expensive cheese for the portion size.
This is an excellent restaurant. Whatever you order, there is always something on the plate which you go ‘that’s delicious and unusual’. The chef definitely knows what he is doing! The staff are really friendly and helpful
As my first visit very disappointing. The website described the restaurant as a gastro pub but the gastro was missing.
Probably due to post Xmas limitations the food choice was limited, no set meal menu and the a la carte choices not very appealing. My rib of beef ragout as particularly disappointing as it reminded me of a canned meal that was available in the 70s
The seats we were offered were near the entrance and doors to garden and my friend felt a draught.
Admittedly the waitress offered to waive the service charge , a bit steep for a pub, but the service was the only good experience of the day.
Sorry but will not be returning.
