About

The Tiger’s Pad restaurant in Sunningdale near Ascot is an exuberant spot to enjoy superb pan-Indian cuisine. The tiger-stripe motif and moulded pawprints flawlessly complement the light wooden floors, candlelit tables and sleek modern design. Head Chef Ajoy Sachdev brings all the influences he has absorbed from his world travels to a menu that spans the subcontinent and beyond, creating a new menu that has cleverly retained the best of the old. Signature dishes include spicy crab and coconut, golden fried prawns, Calcutta surprise and many more. The Tiger Pad’s very international wine list matches the food to perfection.

The restaurant is shut for repairs hence I spent 30 minutes on the train only to find it closed.

Myself and my boyfriend went on New Years Eve and the whole experience was great, the decor was nice, food was delicious and service was excellent - they were very attentive. We chose the taster menu for £23.50 for 3 courses with a a variety of dishes and they were all delicious. I would recommend to anyone and will be back.

Wonderful meal at The Tigers Pad. This is a favourite local restaurant of mine and my family and I suggested it as a venue for a Christmas get-together to a group of friends some of whom hadn't eaten here before. Excellent authentic Indian food, wonderful service and a real buzz about the place. This is a family run restaurant and they look after their guests beautifully. My friends all loved it and vowed to return. Thank you for a great evening.

The food was nice, but the wait for service was very poor. They took the drinks order but did not come back to take our food order for a good 25 minutes. When they did we ordered poppadums but they didn't take our curry order so a further wait was endured.

Because of traffic problems our table for 5 meant we started as a 3 with the other 2 coming later. Staff were brilliantly accommodating. Food choice superb and dishes were excellent.
Parking no problem as if no room outside there is the Station car park opposite.

We booked the Tigers Pad for our 35th wedding anniversary at the last moment and was not disappointed
The food was excellent and we'll presented
Drinks a bit expensive but did not spoil the evening.
Staff were very friendly but could do with training on when to serve wine when you are waiting for preparing dinner drinks.
ButoBut overall very enjoyable

Tigers Pad is always a great place to dine - a little expensive, but always good - sadly we had probably the worst service we have ever experienced this last time - not dire, but usually it is A* and this time probably B-

Not enough waiting staff - 4 main meals and three came out - had to chase twice to get the meal to our table.

Food is of exceptional quality though - cannot be faulted.

From the outside The Tiger Pad looks dated and nothing special when you go in its still a bit dated . Its a nice sized restaurant thou. When i go out to eat i really like a fresh clean table cloth i really think this lets Tiger Pad down its just a wooden table surface not what youd expect for the prices they charge. The food is out standing!!! As is service. We noticed on our last visit that there was backgroumd misic which we really liked as we have often said it lacks atmosphere sometimes you could hear a pin drop not good. Having said all that we absolutly love the food it would be hard to beat always piping hot to fab.

Excellent indian fusion restaurant in Sunningdale. Could do with a lick of paint but you won't find a better curry anywhere. Friendly relaxed atmosphere and attentive but not obtrusive staff. Food arrives promptly and is absolutely delicious.

We had booked a table for a party of 4 for 8pm a busy Saturday night and our table was at the back of the restaurant in a great position. The food was very good and all 4 of us had a enjoyable meal. The only down side was the cost of the beer at £4 for a small bottle so £8 a pint. It would be so much better if they had draft beer on tap. Overall though a great meal out and we will return.

Went with my wife for dinner. Restaurant was fairly busy and there was a nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Mixed starter platter was a little on the small side for 2 people to share, and the kebabs were not that great, but the chicken was tasty and well cooked. The main course though was excellent, well cooked with just the right amount of spice. My lamb bhuna was really excellent, with soft tasty lamb in a tasty masala sauce. I'd recommend this restaurant but would choose my starter more carefully!

Food was good and the service was attentive. Atmosphere was a little lacking and there weren't many other tables considering it was 8pm on a Saturday. But that isn't a reason not to try as the food was varied and we enjoyed our meal.

Ambience warm and outstanding, the service was amazing the staff are extreally friendly and cheerful, and polite, the food was piping hot on arrival to the table and tasted amazing with lovely wines to complement the meal.
The price does represeant the service and qualitity of the food served here, and is a very good choice for a special occasion.

Oh my goodness. This is the best restaurant curry we have had in a long time plus the service was excellent. Went for my son's 19th birthday and although we didn't ask for any fuss to be made they provided balloons and a cake! We were all very impressed. The menu has an excellent selection of not your usual run of the mill curry house dishes and it is nice to have the option to try something different and then be very pleased with the choice. Highly recommended. £172 inc service and alcohol for 6 adults in good value in my experience too.

The Tiger's Pad in Sunningdale is bright and well presented with unusual decor having raised "tiger's pads" walking up the wall. The staff are friendly and helpful. All of our food was delicious - duck breast in tamarind and honey was especially good and one of many unusual dishes on offer. We visited on a Saturday evening and there was a large table of poeple near us, so perhaps that was why it was so noisy making conversation quite difficult. We would go again despite that.

Brilliant - wonderful - so delicious. We had a lovely meal here last Saturday - service was attentive but not over the top - extremely friendly especially to our young daughter. The food was divine - 2nd time we have eaten here and both times we have come away full of good words about the place. Highly recommended.

Absolutely adorable restaurant in a quaint location. The staff were helpful and funny whilst not overbearing, and the food was stunning (I recommend the lamb kebab starter - yum!). The decor really added to the overall ambience, I had a lovely birthday meal with my bf and it was romantic but not cheesy. Perfect.
