Excellent food, excellent service as always!

Food is always exceptional, however, the service Saturday night reminded me why I do not go to Union Public House often to eat. As usual, service was not friendly, and slow. We had 5 p.m. reservations, server did not mention any nightly specials, when I asked her if there were any, she replied that perhaps in a little while they will be informed of the nightly specials, she did not know of any yet. However, UPH Facebook page listed their nightly special, three hours before we dined. I decided to check FB to see if they had posted anything and indeed they had. I would recommend that the servers find out what the diner specials are before they begin their shifts. The restaurant was not overly busy, so I am not quite sure why our service was so slow, and unfriendly. There are too many restaurants with friendly service and servers who are excited about their menus to spend my evening where I feel as if I am inconveniencing the wait staff.

When I go to Pensacola, The Union Public House is where I want to eat. There is only a minor issue because of the building's age; there is a cold draft, especially by the windows. Food Fantastic, service lovely, and thank you for the Anniversary Card. It was a pleasure to celebrate 30 years of love with my better half as he ouuuu over duck hearts for dessert.

We always have outstanding service and food! The thunder beast is the best drink in the area! The beet salad is the best salad around!! The tuna tartar is amazing! And the Nutella pie was to die for!!

The service, food and ambience is amazing here. The cocktails are perfectly paired and measured and the value for what you pay is incredible. Travis is the best server in town! Request him if you can!

When my family arrived and entered the restaurant we were told we had to wear a mask from the front door to our table. My whole family put thier masks on except myself due to medical issues with wearing a mask. When I told the receptionist this she said she didn't care and that I wouldn't be seated unless I have a mask on. I went to my truck and got a mask in order to not cause an issue. When I came back in I saw that our table was literally 6 feet from the front door it upset me (wearing a mask causes my anxiety to elevate). None of tge patrons were wearing masks while dining and people sat at tables right next to us not 3 feet away. If you are going to enforce masks and distancing then you should do it properly. The rudeness of tge reception lady was unwarranted. She could have been a lot more polite and understanding.

It was our daughter‘s 15th birthday, which we noted in the reservation. But no one acknowledged it.

I had been wanting to go here for awhile and my son said he went and enjoyed the plant based options. Nice people good service. The shrimp and grits were good, scraped the plate, however the fish dinners were too fishy tasting. I would give it another try, maybe something simple.

Food was not what I expected. Mac and cheese tasted like Kraft from a box, collards already had pepper sauce on it (which I do not like) and still a little tough, the fried chicken was good but needed salt. The pork rinds were extremely yummy! For the cost, I expected a little better quality food. Atmosphere was really nice. A great place to be able to visit with your guest and able to carry a conversation without interruptions. Service was excellent.

Raw chicken on Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Tastes like Hormel Chili on a couple bits of fried chicken. Also when someone orders a steak, supply steak knifes. Difficult to cut a steak with butter knifes.

Had a New Year’s Day birthday and they were awesome at taking care of us and allowing us to bring in a cake. Thanks for make our night!

Great food and service. BBQ sandwich was fantastic and the pork rinds were some of the best I ever had. Cornbread was outstanding as well. Definitely be back!

Food and drunks were very good but the past several time service has been extremely slow. We had a group of 5 people and dinner service took 3 hours or more to no fault of our own. But again food quality and drinks are consistently good!

Our adult daughter is vegetarian and was with us and the chef made her a plate that was not on the menu and it was outstanding! My husband had the pork and it was delicious. I had the grouper and I loved it as well.
Travis was our server, he is great.

Wonderful! Tuna is amazing

Food was very good, bartender was awesome, waitress left the food up and waiting until we brought it to someone’s attention. The bigger problem was the response from the server when we brought it to their attention.

My husband and I went here to eat dinner and the food was exceptional. We got the Korean BBQ wings to start with a scallion aioli sauce and then for my main course, I got the crispy skin Scottish salmon with couscous. It’s was so delicious. Great atmosphere and perfect for any date night!

The server was great! The drinks were delicious and everything arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The beef carpaccio is always my favorite appetizer!
