Brilliant efficient staff, lovely food, gorgeous fires, will be back!
We love Victoria and we come here for the past five years regularly.
However, yesterday’s experience was very much below expectations. Fish the steak was oily, burnt and over cooked (we asked for medium and got a well done); the duck dish looked beautiful, but undercooked; even kids didn’t finish their food, although they usually ask for a second portion.
The waiter and ambience were great, as always
The pub is good ,the staff are very friendly. Our food was very good. Problem is not enough staff.
We had wonderfull time, got a table at the window with a view to the garden. Food was amazing, staff was very friendly.
The food was very good as always and we were well looked after.
My friends and I decided the Victoria was good, but not very good. The staff moved us from the noisy part which had a TV showing the rugby, which was good. The staff were friendly. So we wouldn't rush to go back but neither would we not go either
Food very good, though menu a little more limited than we remembered from previous visits. Service excellent
Great food reasonably priced and good service. We’ll go again for sure
Took friends here for Sunday lunch . We were sat by the door out into garden from conservatory , children kept running in and out and leaving door open slightly annoying . Good food good service !
Won’t want to sit by door again . Everything else very nice
Great Sunday Lunch! Recommend either the Lamb roast or Pork . Couldn't believe I had a sticky toffee pudding but Just couldn't resist!
Defo worth a walk and lunch here. Perfect Sunday
A new experience for us. Very enjoyable. The food was excellent.
We had a really lovely meal and enjoyed our evening. No complaints really!
Very good staff felt very looked after. Food good but just fish and chips
The food was excellent and the staff were very efficient and welcoming. We live nearby and would certainly go there again
We had a delicious Sunday lunch at The Victoria - quick efficient service with friendly staff. A good choice of food and a good choice for a Sunday lunch after a walk in Richmond Park - dogs welcome too!
Went for a Sunday roast, meat, gravy and swede and carrot mash were delicious. Roast potatoes not crispy!
So lucky to have The Victoria as our local - Definitely the best Sunday roast in East Sheen. Never disappoints!! Lovely staff amd always so accommodating.
We went for Sunday lunch. The food was amazing, kids portions very generous. Plenty of meat, cooked beautifully.
Very good food
Great outside area and good play area for children
It’s hard to find a top Sunday pub for a relaxing Sunday roast when all elements on the dish have the same thought and care. My dish was the lamb roast. Lamb was lovely and the best element though the roasts and veg were not in the same league. The service was average also.
Great place with a lovely cosy atmosphere. Food was put together really well and the staff are friendly and very attentive.
Sticky toffee pud!!!
Food was good, service ok. Noise was unbelievable! Unfortunately parents have little concept of how their children badly impact on other customers? There is a well organised playground at the rear of the garden where they can play and make as much noise as they like but rushing up and down and in between tables all the time without sensor is no fun for other customers. I doubt I would have a Sunday Lunch again for that reason.
Birthday lunch October 1 2021.Five stars for everything as usual.Especially the service by the young waiter name Luca .
Having eaten and also stayed at the Victoria in the past, we were very disappointed by the general standards. The place seemed quite tired and shabby ( not chic) and the staff, although very friendly were very casual. The food was just ok, bearing in mind it’s apparent reputation. Sad.
Great family pub
A great meal with great service - perfect place for a catch-up with friends.
The food is great (Standart sandwich bread which was served with smoked salmon was a big disappointment).
Team: since it was Sunday full of part-time team members who are not very aware, however, the full-time team members were good and aware of what ingredients are used to prepare the dishes and drinks.
Noise: Unfortunately, on Sunday's, the pub seems to be full of screaming, running children without any supervision all around the pub.
Friendly staff but rather disorganised today (not sure why) and the food was fine but nothing special, which is a shame as it can be lovely.
Have been dining here for many years and have never been disappointed
Great pub with a lovely garden that has added bonus of a little wooden playground at the back! Sunday roasts are fab. Recommend
A classic local gastro pub with good service and excellent food
It was wonderful to be back at the Victoria. Friendly, efficient service and a delightful meal with a menu to suit everyone.
Great as usual, will always come back here as food (salt and pepper squid), wine (the cheaper Rose) and beer (Meantime) is excellent.
I would love to love the The Victoria, given it is local, but the service is always a bit disappointing - staff do the basics and that is about it - and I have to say the price of our drinks was extortionate and shocking. Which means I will leave it again, for another couple of years, before going back. Such a shame, I have lived nearby for 20 years and I consistently feel it is pricey for what it is and the service is a bit average. Shame as nice location and I want to support local businesses.
Lovely roast as usual, try the Dingly Dell pork, it's lovely!!
The best fish and chips ever, nice sitting area outside, friendly staff, goodnvalue for money
We had a lovely evening meal with very good service.
We both had the Asian salad as a starter. Then we had the lamb and the sea bass as mains. Both very good but the Asian salad was outstanding.
The wine was also very good
Excellent food and very good atmosphere. Friendly snd helpful staff. Created a very enjoyable evening
Great Sunday lunch! Super freshly cooked. Delicious cuts of meat. We will definitely visit again
