the ambience and the live music were excellent. we liked to be there and hope we are gonna be there again.
First visit, loved the vibe! Food was great, especially the starters. Staff were friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go again.
Lovely ambiance; warm, attentive and professional staff; and delicious food. Really enjoyed our dining experience. Many thanks
Great place to have a meal with friends. The location is fantastic and it's quieter than the Kingston or Richmond riverside restaurants. Parking outside is very handy too!
It was our wedding anniversary. We had a reservation and had requested for a window table .but when we got there they offered us a middle aisle table saying we are only 2 of us the table is for 4 people .. but later the 2 window tables had just 2 people sitting as well .. we were a bit saddened with the way we were approached....but our waiter was a wonderful guy.. very humble and humorous and always smiling..the food was amazing..thank u ..
Good venue, nice view over the river. No band playing inside this time which was good.
With the nice view and good food perfect place for get togethers.
Lovely lunch…..sad you’d run out of Dover sole which we all fancied….such a hot day so was grateful to be reseated near to open window. Excellent house white - got me drinking Chardonnay for the first time in years.
Outside table was fantastic on a hot day - perfect for my sons birthday celebrations. Service slow on the main course, but they made good. Would recommend
Lovely meal in a great location by the window overlooking Teddington Lock
This was our first time here and was impressed . We’ll be coming down again very soon 👌
Fabulous food in a beautiful setting. Service wonderful.
Excellent meal as usual. Beautiful views over the Thames, we highly recommend The Wharf.
A fantastic experience.
Amazing food, exceptional service and wonderful background jazz .
Can’t wait to go again .
A fantastic birthday treat .
It was a lovely location and we sat outside as it was a beautiful evening. The food was good snd the service was too. The ambiance was ok but it lacked a buzz. Unusual mix of clientele. But overall a good evening.
Beautiful spot. Food good but not excellent. There was a guitarist singing all evening which we enjoyed, it wasn’t intrusive.
The lamb was completely fatty and the cray fish starter was like frozen prawns - extremely disappointing
We had the most time, service was absolutely amazing, music was wonderful and Richard the manager was very kind and made sure we was looked after
Lovely restaurant great food. They had live music which was great but kindly moved us to an outside table, because it was such a lovely evening. Happy to recommend the.
Lovely setting for a summer evening, highly enjoyed it
excellent restaurant a bit expensive but it is worth it, recommend welsh rack with mint sauce
The waiter KP was so friendly helpful and attentive excellent service from him
Perfect spot outside on a beautiful evening. Food and wine excellent. Service very good after slow start.
We had a lovely evening with lovely friends in a lovely setting !!!!
Tasty meal served by friendly team at The Wharf. Vegetarians and vegans catered for!
This was a birthday treat. It was a truly fabulous experience. The staff are great, the food is superb, the view of the river was glorious!
The wharf is a great venue but unfortunately the summer menu is a bit limited . Our main courses were fairly average and certainly poor value for money. On the upside the staff were excellent
very pleasant sitting outside on a summer's day. the service is excellent and the food is good, but not wow.
Disappointing return to The Wharf. Went with friends and we were unhappy with our lukewarm meals and the restaurant's version of a salad - just lettuce leaf's. Couldn't fault the service though especially the Head Waiter who went out of his way to please.
A very enjoyable experience. Good food, excellent service by KP, and nice surroundings.
Really enjoyed our anniversary meal...staff excellent and went out of their way to be super welcoming. Unphased by my various food intolerances. Friendly staff, food very professionally served - food itself delicious.
A very good all round experience...very much enjoyed live music too.
Big Thank you to all involved in our evening
A nice location on Teddington lock. We sat outside in the sunshine. We'd heard some fairly good things about this place.
The service was just about okay on arrival, but increased in quality when a new member of staff took over looking after us.
The menu has excellent choice. A plethora of seafood, meat and vegetarian options across all courses.
In truth, they probably need to reduce down their choice and focus on quality. The scallop and haggis dish didn't really hang together. It was very dry. The fillet steak was nice, but wasn't cooked as requested. And on switching out fries for thick cut chips on a burger, we initially got what appeared to be oven chips, which was strange as they were totally different to those that came with the steak. Regardless, none of the chips were cooked well and they were hard in the middle.
More than anything else, the value for money is simply not there. With wine, the meal came to around £100 per head. That is Michelin Star pricing, for a restaurant which simply isn't anywhere near.
My wife and I had a lovely 3 course dinner. It was a warm evening but we sat inside with the windows open. The restaurant wasn’t busy so it was quiet. The service was very good. The first 2 courses were great but the dessert (fresh fruit meringue knickerbocker glory) which we shared was very disappointing as it was distinctly lacking in fresh fruit. We would certainly return another day.
As a long time customer I was taken aback to see the oysters I ordered were floating in melted ice water. And when the dish was taken away half the water ended on my trousers. A passing apology was afforded.
My wife’s pasta was bland and tasteless. My fish dish wasn’t great either. I wondered if the management has changed hands?
Wonderful location, fabulous views, great food and service.
Fabulous lunch on bank holiday Monday. Staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating.
We sat outside on the end corner table so had a couple of episodes of strong gust of wind knocking over wine glasses. A windbreak would be a good idea. But would go back again for sure.
First time visit for a family lunch. Window seat with great views of the river on a glorious sunny day. Our main waiter was very helpful and friendly. Service flowed seamlessly and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
Prices have risen but quality has not improved for increased prices.
Food, service and ambiance were all fantastic. The staff were helpful and fun, nothing was too much (and we are a fussy bunch!).
The live jazz was a lovely bonus. We stayed for hours and could easily have stayed for longer.
Superb as usual! Fab food, service and view
