Had a lovely birthday meal at the Wild Rabbit. The food was delicious and the meal was special with all the little touches like the canapes and surprise birthday plate. The only thing that let it down was the waiter that took our order did not tell us about the specials - we only realised there were specials when the table next to us had them.
Wild Rabbit as always, a delight. Whether in the bar or the restaurant, we are big fans of The Rabbit !!
It took too long to finish the taste menu, took about 3 hours.
Excellent food and service. Not cheap, but still good value. Highly recommend!
Very good again food and excellent service
Great place to eat.
We have been wanting to visit the Wild Rabbit for ages so using our 2nd anniversary seemed like the perfect opportunity. We went with high expectations and it didn't disappoint. The service and food was excellent and the atmosphere equally matched. Cant wait for a return visit.
I went with my boyfriend for our anniversary and we weren’t disappointed. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food was exceptional. Would defiantly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion. The setting and decor is exquisite .
We ordered the Tasting Menu. Everything was very good and we particularly enjoyed the scallop dish. Having said that the skate and the lamb were also delicious! Service was very good. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Food excellent. Service was a little slow/haphazard (though the sommelier fantastic). Still a lovely evening and would recommend
There are few restaurants which combine such fine food with perfect relaxed informality.
The food was excellent. The staff were all lovely. The food just was a little slow to come but it was relaxing rather than a major issue.
Excellent service, great atmosphere. We very much enjoyed the tasting menu.
If I hadn’t been before I wouldn’t return based on this visit. We opted for the tasting menu with wine pairings and it took forever! Way too much time in between courses. Food was well prepared but the skate was full of bones...not enjoyable at all. Wines selected were nice but not overly generous for the price. There was a definite breakdown in communication with server. Couldn’t really understand her describing any of the dishes. Asked for the check at the end and she brought a card for a taxi. The ambience is always great and the sommelier was very charming. Will give it another go at some point but don’t be rushing back.
Quintessential Cotswolds experience with cozy atmosphere, attentive servers, carefully crafted local food, and exquisite wine selection. We took our children along and they appreciated the children’s menu (which was very reasonably priced). Each course improved upon the previous one (which I thought would be impossible) and culminated in an incredible dessert selection. I can’t spend that much every time I go out to eat, but it was worth every penny.
We called ahead to let the staff know we were going to arrive 10 minutes after our 2 PM reservation. While I was parking the car, they essentially made my wife order all of our food before 2:15 or we wouldn’t have been sent home so I had no idea what food was coming. They rushed us through our entire meal and we were out before 2 other families that were seated before us. The food was good but as much as we paid for it, it would have been nice to enjoy it.
We’ve gone for a tasting menu on a Sunday lunch. Starter and main courses were ok but nothing we would crave to go back for. Desserts were very good.
Service poor, unnatentive an unprofessional. Wouldn’t go back. Not what you expect when you pay a bill of nearly £200 for 2.
Shame because the place looks very pleasant!
Very enjoyable and interesting meal. Welcoming guests on arrival could be improved!!
Brilliant food and service. Had the cured trout and the lamb. Both were excellent and the dish was very well balanced, both in flavor and texture. Better than some Michelin starred restaurants I have been to.
Food overpriced. Uncomfortable dining with lots of flies!
Wonderful restaurant that strikes the right balance between food, service and occasion. We Will return !!
Superb, assured cooking, friendly service, surprisingly unpretentious.
A wonderful place to stay with excellent cuisine and service.
Yes I would recommend the Wild Rabbit to a friend. We would preferred to have sat outside as it was such a beautiful day. We were disappointed that this was not possible. We were also disappointed that the cote du Bouef was not chargrilled as mentioned on menu. It was roasted. However the apologies were made and we were offered a drink of our choice from the wine menu. They went out of their way to rectify the situation. We would definitely go back but would probably eat from the other menu which alot cheaper but very similar.
Really lovely setting, great decor (and we had lovely weather so opted to sit and eat outside). Service was great - staff are so welcoming and helpful. We ate from the bar menu (rather than the main restaurant) and it was lovely, but I was expecting to be wowed a little more. Could tell that quality ingredients were used and dishes are kept simple, but I couldn’t taste the seasoning on the chilli think our expectations had just been set a little high from all the positives we’d already heard
Very excellent food and nice variety even on a traditional English sunday lunch. Wine list was vast and very good. Prices are a bit high considering the amount of food. The amounts are juts right but the prices are a bit high.
Excellent food and a great wine list. The only challenge is getting a table as it’s so popular.
Yet another stunning evening at The Wild Rabbit This place is always very, very special, whether in the bar, out on the terrace or in the restaurant. with an even more buzzy atmosphere tonight., probably being a Friday. The Team were brilliant as always and the food was just awesome - the Trout starter was sublime !! that good that I want to go back tomorrow to have that and The Bream again ! Nathan’s food is so very good, the team so brilliant, we need to be back very quickly !!
Best meal we have ever eaten at The Wild Rabbit since it opened. Excellent lunch! Thank you
Stopped off for lunch - excellent meal the jeruselum artichoke starter was superb. Lovely touches such as warm fresh bread and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely return and recommend, glad we stumbled across it!
We probably shouldn’t have gone on a Sunday as they serve mostly roasts with little of the usual menu available
Brilliant night ! Wild Rabbit was buzzing ! Great atmosphere - and the Wild Rabbit did not disappoint. Food was stunning and the service impeccable. Great night, as usual.
Beautiful location, amazing ambience and experience. The staff were friendly and helpful but the food lacked depth and flavour. The table was for a party of 4 and we all had the tasting menu. Would recommend a visit but maybe consider ordering dishes next time rather than the set tasting menu. A nice evening
Special spot. Excellent device. Extremely tasty meal. Will be back next time we’re in the UK.
Decided to go with the tasting menu - all well prepared but some courses better than others . Lamb was disappointing but the staff were excellent and made every effort to rectify. Lovely venue and ambiance.
Superb friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, very attentive staff, management quietly have their eyes everywhere. The food was delicious, imaginative and stylish. So good we booked for another night.
Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant, Food was beautifully cooked and presented! :)
We want to move to Kingham.
I'm not joking.
Lovely to go somewhere for lunch that you can feel confident will be gorgeous. Great food, service and decor.
The food and service were outstanding. The food was delicious and the staff serving made the whole experience very memorable. The restaurant was beautifully laid out and furnished and the adjacent tables were not too close. The only slight downside for me was the men's toliet - a lot water on the floor which looked like something was leaking and they looked like they could do with a liitle bit of maintenance. Sounds picky, but it took a slight gloss of what was otherwise a wonderful experience.
An excellent dining experience. This was our second time for lunch, will definitely be visiting again.
