Excellent meal. 1st class service and such a great venue for an evening in London.
Perfect as always . My favorite in London.
pleasant evening food good waitress a bit confusing
First London Visiting
The Coq au Vin was fantastic!
Good at any time of the day. Great choice on breakfast menu from healthy to full cooked English, pastries, tea and coffees and several fresh fruit juices. Everything is cooked just so.
Great English breakfast in a beautiful setting. Eggs Benedict is superb.
Food is average but others is
Excellent food, service and atmosphere with the added bonus of a movie star sighting.
Amazing ‘Full English’ breakfast as always x
Amazing breakfast. Probably the best pain perdu I ever had and would definitely come back for the viennoiseries. I love the ambiance. I love dressing up and coming to this establishment.
The Wolseley is a beautiful restaurant but felt like a tourist trap. Food is adequate and expensive.
Server had an attitude. There are so many other great places in London to eat. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Quick dinner before the Proms. We sat at 17:45 and food was served 10 minutes later. Swift, efficient service without being rushed. Thanks again.
The elegant surroundings, delicious scones, and attentive servers made this a very special occasion. I look forward to visiting your afternoon tea experience when I am in town again.
Great evening with family.
I always enjoyed having Breakfast at the Wolseley! Delicious food and friendly service. Top class eating experience with traditional English environment.
Amazing for breakfast... received a complimentary pastry for Happy anniversary
This is one of the restaurants that we frequently visit to have breakfast specially, while all the usual aspects are perfect the service was a little strangely deferent this ..we have to stand from where we seated to call the waiter when we needed to be served.
When we received the check we noticed that the water had been added three times, unfortunately because we were inviting a family we hesitated to call the waiter to confirm the mistake and paid it.
We are still going to visit the restaurant again and hope the two remarks will be avoided.
Was so looking forward to our visit as we have dined here many times, however, our meal was spoilt by a very sour faced 'waitress' who, when I asked why she looked so unhappy and could she not smile, I was met with the response, I am here to take your order, thats all ! I asked to see the manager who was VERY apologetic and we were given another young lady, who was perfect. So, in summery, an evening spoilt, and of course, we tell everyone about it. Hence this review. Leave your troubles outside of work.
never disappointed with The Wolseley - always great customer service and ambience
Long time patron but won’t return.
Too many venues in Mayfair that know how to treat their guests to settle for arrogant inattentive service.
Too bad, used to be a favorite of the wife.
It was great as usual
This is a must during a trip to London! Gorgeous restaurant and fabulous brunch at decent prices. Loved it. Never felt rushed and have great memories
My entrecote steak had a lot of gristle in it - not what I expect when paying £30 for an average cut of beef. My wife had a dish with broccoli which was so hard she could not cut them - they were not cooked properly but were taken back and replaced satisfactorily.
My ultimate favorite!
I adore this place for a special lunch it is perfect.
Great atmosphere and food was excellent as was the service. Would return on my next visit.
The Wolseley is my favourite restaurant in London it’s informal but sophisticated great simple food and I always have the same food now I have tried most of the dishes but have my favourite each time I visit staff are friendly professional and Charing when I bring my kids for lunch.
Excellent service, lovely food. Macaroons for birthday.
we went for breakfast on a Sunday morning, booked 2 days in advance and the only time available was 9am so be sure to book further in advance if you can’t stand too early hours!
The food was excellent, however the waiters seemed a bit annoyed and never had a smile or whatsoever... understandable considering it such a busy place
Food was good, my chicken was moist and the John Dory fillet was better. For dessert the Carmel eclair was very good. Tables are extremely close so be prepared to share your conversation as well as the tables next to you. Service was good.
Busy place but great atmosphere, best if you’re not in too much of a hurry. Best for those who want to appreciate the beautiful building and interior.
Fantastic atmosphere and service. It’s my mom’s birthday celebration. She’s so happy to have it there.
As usual just fabulous!
The food was good but the service was the worst experience I have ever had
It was wonderful enjoyed breakfast service was excellent
I took my Mom here for brunch. Everything from the ambiance to the food was impeccable. The pancakes are to die for.
The gentle Doorman was treat and must be thanked, Such a welcoming start to an evening.
Excellent service, not crowded, attentive and welcome.
Food all good.
Great lunch, sommelier was outstanding, deep and broad knowledge of our favourite wines. Pleasure to talk to him about good Italian wines, and even better to know he came from around Amalfi.
