Theo Randall is always consistently very good , we ate the 'Sicily' regional tasting menu with wine pairings , and each course was well presented and excellently cooked - service was of the same standard - we will be returning in August for one of the other regions - highly recommend
Rearranged tables due to pandemic and seemed very busy. No threat to social distancing and was not able to hang coats. Understandable. Service, ambuence and food were great. Can't fault the whole evening. Just a terribly slow bar from the hotel. more than 20mins after ordering to see the drinks. Shame. We would go again. Lovely food.
Great service and wonderful food. Couldn’t believe the value
Fantastic meal . Every course a delight
We had the regional tasting menu which was just delicious and was paired with superb wine. The service was incredible (Sebastian in particular was very attentive) and to top off a wonderful evening we got to meet Theo himself in the kitchen! Theo was warm & very easy to talk to. Can not recommend this enough!
Another great family meal to suit all ages without the heavy feeling afterwards
Went for the regions of Italy tasting menu. Excellent value and experience. Cannot recommend enough
Such a fantastic restaurant. The cooking is superb, the staff are friendly and it is such good value. Can't wait to come back.
Outstanding service and the most delicious food, highly recommend!
This is our favourite place for a treat. Delicious food - only complaint (if it could be called that) was the portions were too large. Loved having the opportunity to meet Theo Randall too.
The regional tasting menu is such good value. Amazing quality dishes and a lovely atmosphere. I’m a huge Theo Randall fan anyway so was great to meet him!
Fantastic diner in a great restaurant. Service was perfect
We try to eat at Theo’s when staying in London, as we know the experience and food is always great. This time we enjoyed the Sicilian tasting menu with the paired wines. We were a bit apprehensive about the octopus first course, as this is not something we would normally choose, but we were assured if we did not like it we could change it. We need not have worried- it was beautifully tender and seasoned well to complement the salad. The pasta with aubergines, tomato, basil and ricotta salad with full of flavour and the right size for a primo dish . The rump of lamb main course was rich and tender. Ricotta cheesecake to finish was light and also packed full of flavour. The paired wines worked well with each course and made this an extremely good value meal. The staff looked after us well and we were also able to have a chat with Theo as he was in the kitchen.
Food was very good but not incredible, service was very slow and a bit haphazard, which was a shame. Our waiter seemed confused about our order and we had to find where he’d hidden our wine and top ourselves up. We were taken to visit Theo in the kitchen though which was a lovely touch.
Great dinner at Theo Randall’s - as always. We had the Sicilian regional menu with wine pairings which was delicious.
I was very surprised to get a booking so early after the relaxation of the lock down restrictions but was obviously pleased to do so. Lovely menu - great choice. In truth could pretty much have gone for the whole lot. Although we went a la carte, the regional menu was very tempting and great value at £50 with a half bottle of wine. We wanted a special evening out and we certainly got that.
Excellent food. We had the Sicilian tasting menu with paired wines. Great value. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, which was made even better when we were invited into the kitchen to chat with Theo himself. Really nice guy, it capped off a perfect evening for my wife’s birthday.
Superb food, attentive service in a very nice setting.
Super meal with plenty of choice. The wines were good value too.
the food and service were exceptional and we will definitely be back again
Top end Italian food at its best, the best Ingredients, generous portions and lovely atmosphere
Excellent all round, food service, ambience, definitely would recommend.
Exceptional food as always!
Had the Lombardy tasting menu food and wine pairings were really good the staff were really friendly and efficient and treated us really well. We were invited in to the kitchen to meet Theo which was really interesting and he came across as a really nice guy.
Absolutely fantastic experience. An amazing meal. Great food and awesome service.
First time here
And I must say I was happy with the service and food.
Enjoyable meal. Meeting the chef in the kitchen a nice touch. Socially distanced and clean
Exceptional food and service. Cannot fault this restaurant. Consistently delivers
Quality cooking in a nice setting.
Excellent food outstanding wines and wonderful service. Never ever fails to deliver. Cv19 measures were great too. So great to see them back.
As always the overall standard at Theo’s was at its usual high standard.
The staff were very knowledgable and made good suggestions in what food we might enjoy.
The range of wine and beers was extensive and what we chose was well suited to our meals.
The service was well judged and not rushed. Our meals were tasty, well presented and as usual on point.
We were then pleasantly surprised that Theo himself came out of the kitchen to say hello to my friend and I.
In my mind this is the number one Italian in London.
staff are friendly and food is good. However in the recent risk of virus, it is suggested that waiters/waitress shall not talk to customers on top of food/drink. They shall talk at a certain distance from the table instead of talking on top of food/drink on the table.
in the journey from kitchen to serving the food on the table, shall there be a cover/lid to cover the food for hygine reasons, especially waiters/waitress may talk on they way of delivering the food.
otherwise, it is a good place to dine. thank you for the good service and good food. It was an enjoyable evening to celebrate our friend's birthday. we are coming back on 16 April to celebrate another birthday.
Simply divine. Food was really good. The guys I went with were suitably impressed. We had the three course & half bottle of wine open table deal.
Everything about the evening was superb, from the restaurant itself, to the quality of all the dishes served and the friendliness and relaxed efficiency of the staff. As particularly praiseworthy, we would single out our sommelier, Roberto, who was charm personified. We were particularly impressed that a separate vegan and vegetarian menu were available as set menus to cater for our group. We will definitely be returning.
Simply the best, had waited for a long time to go and did not disappoint. We even met Theo and had a visit to his domain. Very impressive service, it’s the way things should be.
Went for the fixed price (£49) Sunday Brunch. Range and quality of the food was outstanding. Bottomless Prosecco was plentiful and good quality. The Antipasti buffet was so extensive that we would happily have paid just to eat that. We had to skip the Porchetta and Crepes as we were just too full.
Top tip: The main courses are sharing dishes meaning you choose 1 dish for 2 people to share. We had 1 veggie and 1 carnivore so this was potentially a problem. However, the fantastic staff dealt with it by letting us order different main courses. Excellent!
This place is just fantastic and I recommend you go.
Superb food and staff. A fantastic lunch spot in town.
I went with my husband and we had a fantastic evening. The food was delicious and our waitress, Katie, was delightful. So helpful and attentive, the service was brilliant. We will definitely be back!
I was dining alone and the staff made me feel like family. I especially want to comment about the Sommelier, Umberto. This gentleman is amazing. Not only knowledgeable but friendly and helpful. My meal of Truffle Soufflé, followed by lamb and then a marvelous cheese course....exceptional! Thank you
Fine but very slow service, very pleasant but slow.
