A La Carte
I had such a lovely time at Thomas’s. The food was spectacular, the setting was beautiful and the service was second to none.
We had afternoon tea which was so yummy. The presentation was breathtaking and there were some interesting twists on tradition. I would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back for brunch next time.
After seeing this cafe all over Instagram, we thought we would give it a try. We were quite underwhelmed in the end. The staff are very attentive and friendly. However, the drinks took ages and the coffees weren’t hot. Then we ordered cakes which didn’t arrive till some time after the coffee and had been forgotten I am sure. One of the cakes we had was delicious, packed with pistachios. The cafe itself looked lovely but we were sat near the door and there was a fair amount of bustle at the front door and felt like sitting in a foyer. I had envisaged a different space which Ithink must be the upstairs dining area. There was a nice table at the back which was next to a fireplace if you’re a larger party.
All in all I would say this is style over substance which is disappointing given it’s a great location for a mid shopping stop.
Another great visit to Thomas's, it never dissapoints. The service is exceptional. In particular the host is fantastic, I've met him a few times now and he is always so professional.
Nice place, very pretty. But took ages to bring food out and food was cold when it came out. They did give us a discount without us asking which was nice of them, but I wouldn’t go back for food. Maybe just for drinks & cakes
Excellent service as always. Breakfast was delicious and my cappuccino was the best I’ve ever tasted! Superb!
The worst dining experience I have had this year - staff completely incompetent. The manager is also the security guard, avoid at all costs, its not even that nice an environment.
I did a team dinner here which was a very disappointing experience- food toke over an hour to arrive and when we finally got it it was stone cold
Rude and sloppy service - overall a very disappointing experience
This reastaurant is a great place for any lovie dovie's wanting to have a nice way to celebrate. The welcoming is spot on. However, the service could be faster and more excellent meeting its given standards.
We had the amazing food and served by very friendly staff in busy Thomas's restaurant.
Only negative was the toilet that was a little unclean.
Wie immer Essen vom Feinsten, top Personal. Sehr zu Empfehlen!!
Really lovely space and excellent food. They also have nice veggie options, and the service is spot on. Will definitely be returning.
It was so cold inside that we need to put on our clothes. Scones were great but not the lobster
I had scones and tea.
clean and good serve.
A beautiful restaurant with exquisite food
The gentleman who greeted my partner and I & wished me a happy Birthday was incredible! We have never been greeted by such a lovely, warm man. (Sorry I did not get your name!). The food was great too!
Had booked in advance and were put upstairs on our own. We were left for 20 mins before someone arrived despite a lot of waving
I love the food selection and the afternoon tea is superb. I always find weird the order the afternoon tea comes. Every time is different. As well there is just enough water for 1 cup of tea and I had to ask for more hot water few times.
Great restaurant and always a calm quiet space to have an uninterrupted lunch.
The staff were very nice - but the service was slow.
My food was cold (eggs) and overall I don't think they had enough people working there at 8am when it opens.
The cake s was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. I have reservation and the waiter take me to the upstairs seat by windows. The views wasn't good and the sun was in my eyes. When I finished , my friend and I separate to paid the bill. The waiter calculate the wrong amount and overcharged. The Waiter attitude was very bad and didn't feel sorry. Finally, we told the manerge to refund our money. I feel they shouldn't ask the server change!
Fish was over cooked and dry, French fries were undercooked (I know how possible!), I sent them back. They recooked the same batch which then tasted like cardboard and they still charged us for them even though they arrived well after our main course was finished. The cherries on the pistachio cake are from a can and very sour.
Friendly waiters but very slow service. They served our starters at the same time as the main course.
Delicious lunch menu in an elegant environment. A rare quiet place to meet with friends on Regents Street. Stunning flowers and cakes.
Had a wonderful time at Thomas's for afternoon tea! I called ahead to say that we were celebrating a birthday and the staff did everything they could to make it extra special. Will definitely come again!
One of the best afternoon tea in town, very elegant with an amazing food level
Staff are very pleasant and professional however there were long delays for food and many people complained in the restaurant area upstairs. When our food came it was over cooked too.
It’s a great place for breakfast, brunch or coffee & cake. Lunch I wouldn’t recommend!
Had an afternoon tea with friends on a weekend. The cakes and tea were quite good. The place is quiet and not very busy, perfect for catching up with friends or taking a break from shopping. The place looks very elegant and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Would love to go back again.
Thomas's lives up to the hype. The presentation of the cafe and food is impeccable, as you would expect from a cafe situated in a British design institution (Burberry). We found the staff were not particularly personable or helpful. However this didn't dampen the experience, and we would definitely go back.
Gorgeous decor and wonderful service. Definitely my new favourite place in London for afternoon tea.
The selection of the cakes and sandwiches was good, way too much for one person,so next time probably sharing one afternoon tea for two and get extra tea.Crumpets were ordinary and I wouldn’t eat them in the afternoon for a special occasion.Scones were delicious and my clients from Scotland loved them.
Ordered half dozen oyster, two were tiny little, Chef considered it as "fine" and "normal" even we asked. Bread of
the afternoon tea sandwich is not fresh. Finished the main course and had waited for nearly half an hour before someone came and took the plate away (only 2 tables sitting with customers during that period of time and 2-3 waiter/waitress were just standing there and talking).
Thomas's is my favourite restaurant! I brought my little sister here for her 25th birthday dinner. Food was perfect, staff were friendly and attentive and they even surprised her with a little cake and chocolate birthday message (all on their own, I didn't even ask!). It was a gorgeous touch. Cannot wait to be back again!
Beautiful restaurant upstairs, with excellent service and good food, highly recommended
Excellent food and amazing service. Atmosphere is very hard to beat!
Lovely brunch experience - scrambled eggs and salmon were really good
Great venue for breakfast, telly like salmon and scramble eggs. Good location, service and reasonable price
Thomas's have got the 'less is more' approach right! Great service, chic surroundings. Can't wait to come back again!
A very pleasant café annexed to Burberry's main London store on Regent Street / Vigo Street.
As one might expect from one of the Queen's clothing suppliers, food quality and service is high and this is not a cheap place to eat.
The staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful and dining here is an enjoyable experience.
We will be coming again in the future to sample a more extensive menu at lunchtime.
great for breakfast. tasty food, good service, relaxed atmosphere, reasonable price
Good food, good environment.
