Good place as always, good food. Service was unfortunately really bad, I heard multiple tables complaining. Maybe they were a bit overwhelmed. Our server disappeared multiple times for a long duration of time,
Highly suggest the Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict!! Amazing View also 👍🏻
My fiancé and I experienced and enjoyed an awesome time for lunch. Great atmosphere and the staff was very attentive and friendly. We were specially please with this hostess Julianne. Will be back again!
I’ve dined at Tillies twice and both times I was disappointed. The food is always fabulous but the service is terrible. We went there for Sunday brunch and a family had three kids running( I mean racing fast) around the restaurant and no manager or server said a thing to them, it was extremely rude. We waited at least 20 min to even get served water, And the food took forever to come out. By the time we got our food, we were ready to leave. I tried to give Tillies a second chance but I will not be returning.
Amazing Mother's Day breakfast ! So happy to have spent it with that beautiful view and other families with small children.
Gurneys had renovated this restaurant beautifully the outdoor lounge is sheik and inviting
The limited lunch menu choices were perfect and the food and service outstanding.
Fantastic service, seriously overpriced food (especially for their brunch buffet) and especially considering no alcohol is included. Gorgeous view, however. Would be interested in trying their regular dinner menu.
Fantastic environment and views. Amazing service, simple menu but delicious. Maybe a bit more expensive than expected, but worth it for the location.
Stopped in for brunch and had amazing Ginger Margaritas to start. Meals were delicious and fresh- avocado toast delicious and ricotta pancakes perfectly flavored. Tuna poke fresh and light and juicy burgers!! Great service and views - will be back!
Amazing view and good food however, the service was so bad that it was hard to take it all in.
Loved every moment! The staff is unbelievably friendly, from the bartenders, to the hostess, servers, valet, and front desk. No matter whom we spoke to, they were incredibly friendly and helpful!
Nice place to enjoy a meal. Note that the prices on line menu are not what you find in the restaurant. The lobster roll listed at $25 is $35. The lobster crab cakes at $26 is actually one cake. But the food was good and the view of the ocean spectacular.
Great place , Turkey club is on a hoagie not toast though just an FYI
Front desk and the manager weren’t very nice. Need more training. Waitresses very nice and professional.
Great food ,great service, beautiful place. Everything was top notch!
Amazing dinner for our special occasion. We love coming back here over and over again whenever we are at Montauk. We get treated very nicely and the staff is amazing. The food is excellent. My favorite is always the duck and foie gras ravioli. This time we were unable to stay at Gurneys because we only had 3 days off, but love coming back for Tillies brunch and the bar by the restaurant. Thank you.
We were there for brunch buffet, which was very good. Large selection of food - all very good. Server slow to respond with drinks.
Food was sent back. Every single table around us, which was 5 in total, had problems with their food and either sent it back, didn’t get something, or ended up requesting to speak with a manager. Terrible food and service and it was a weekday lunch with no crowd.
Went here for Sunday brunch. The place is very nice, waterfront area that was perfect for the sunny day. However, we waited approximately 30 minutes just for our drinks to come and over an hour for our food to arrive after we ordered it. We had to track down servers to find out where our food was, as tables that came after us were getting served before us. When my friends food arrived, it was freezing cold. For the price we paid for brunch, it was disappointing to have that kind of service and have to eat cold food.
The food is good and the service reasonable, but the perch above sandy beach and the magnificent Atlantic surf is what makes this a sensational summer afternoon lunch spot. Worth every penny.
Tillie's is a great place to enjoy lunch outdoors with friends, on the ocean at Gurney's Inn. My Gluten Free Cobb Salad was one of the best I had. Delicious, fresh and plentiful, perfect for a summer afternoon. Everyone else enjoyed their salads, seafood dish, sandwich and sweet potato fries. The service was excellent and very accomodating when needed!! Our waiter understood my Gluten issue and made sure my salad was prepared correctly. He also addressed any other special requests from our group. Can't wait to return!
Great food, drinks and view. Service is a bit slow.
Beautiful area on the Atlantic with a nice vibe/ambiance. Food was bland with no flavor and overpriced. Waitress was friendly but extremely slow and had no idea what was going on - even though place was empty. Table next to us walked out because of this issue. It's too bad because it's a great/expensive resort on the water.
Just love the view. It was our 52 nd wedding anniversary. Celebrating with lunch at Gurneys
The menu was so appetizing that we ordered too much. The waitress even asked if we were sure we wanted 4 entrees! Of course, we took it home for another delicious meal. We live close by.
This was by far, the best crab cake I have ever, ever, ever eaten...and judging by my age, that was quite a lot
This was our 5 th lunch there and we are planning another trip mid summer.
You MUST go.....
Everything from the food, to the views, to the service..was just perfect!
Love the breakfast views with the outside seating. On a sunny day, no better place to eat
breakfast in Montauk. The buffet offers everything you can want to eat for breakfast, but a bit pricey, but very good and the view makes it worth it. I go back multi-times each summer.
Great restaurant! First class service, very friendly staff. Super tasty breakfast buffet.
We had a good time at Tillie's overall. We still had a short wait even with a reservation, though it was a holiday weekend. The food was delicious and the menu has a lot of good options, though our food took a while to arrive. The service was a bit inattentive for such a nice restaurant. On the plus side, the atmosphere was lively and Gurney's is lovely overall. Also free valet!
Strange menu choices, especially for breakfast; no healthy choices. Food was not great, and very pricey. Nice people working here though.
Went on Mother’s Day for breakfast. Restaurant was less than half full. No flowers or special touches. Food took over an hour to come out (pancakes!!!). Our server was lovely and apologized many times. No basket of bread or muffins on the table and they didn’t even take our coffee off the bill. Not what I expect from a pricey restaurant at all!!!
TILLE'S IS NO LONGER USING OPEN TABLE ANYMORE. DO NOT USE TO BOOK RESERVATION.
Situated right on the water, the views are spectacular. We went for breakfast on couples get away weekend and the menu was small, pricey but they delivered on what we ordered. The food was served smoking hot and the servers were attentive and friendly.
The nutella french toast was lacking in Nutella, it seemed more like a Hershey syrup but it was plentiful and stuffed with fruit. The omelette was fluffy and light and had a nice mixture of diced ham and spinach. The best selection were the lemon ricotta pancakes served with blueberry compote. They were like clouds. Delicious. Everything was over priced, but you are paying for the water views...for a special breakfast, we would recommend it, but it's not for an everyday experience. No egg is worth 19 plus dollars.
This is a beautiful spot for lunch brunch and great cocktails. Fantastic ambiance, and water views which are great photo ops!
Tillie's is closed until 12/21. I made a reservation on OpenTable, drove out to Tillie's only to find that the entire restaurant area is closed. Please shut off the ability to make reservations when you are closed.
On vacation, saw reviews, didn't realized that Tillie's was new name for Gurney's. Ironically my father Attilio's nickname was Tillie!
We loved Tillies as we went there for our anniversary and were treated like royalty! Food was amazing and the service beyond compare!
We couldn't even make it in the driveway with the cars backed up. Valets yelling at people to stay in their cars and what appeared to be every person that ever appeared on the Jersey Shore running around screaming at Uber drivers. It's a shame as it's such a great venue. The crowd is hortific.
Beach, drinks and food were great!
Was a nice brunch option on a rainy montauk day, especially compared to the other options in town which can be very slow during busy times. Get the French toast it's definitely worth it.
