The hotel used to be a favourite of mine, but it is slipping badly. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in Timbers. Breakfast was good, the lunch menu was average and dinner was a complete disappointment. The choices were limited and the prime rib was overpriced for the quality.
The hotel staff are great, but the hotel management understaffs the restaurant and appeared to have called in non-serving staff to fill in. We had hoped to dine in the steak restaurant, but the hotel has chosen to close that facility on Sunday and Monday. So much for be a full service hotel!!
In the future I will go elsewhere for any meal but breakfast.
Food quality good for price. Great deserts
* One big disappointment: NO options for VEGETARIANS (one family member eats meatless so we will not return unless meatless dishes are offered)
* we were there for nice Xmas Eve dinner; Floor littered with crumbs and ledge by our table used unceremoniously as shelf for random placement of condiments-sloppy
We would recommend restaurant as pretty good food but caution people on the above disappoinments
Great steak dinners with outstanding sides and we'll crafted cocktails.
Our church men go out for lunch once a month. We go for good food and to socialize. 5 men attended and each had a different entree'. Everyone enjoyed the food, the service (excellent waitress) and the surroundings. THANKS!
Food was overlooked and not enjoyable, I will not come back which is unfortunate because the location, staff and atmosphere was fine
Six of us gathered for a Sunday brunch . Five of us elected to have the buffet , while much smaller than years past , it was fine . One person in our party wanted to have the famous Eggs Benedict , they are wonderful . The lively waitress Susan came back to say " the kitchen ran out of hollandaise sauce
What ???? Ran out of eggs or no sous chef oils make more - bit disappointed with that !!!
We had young children with us & the wait for the food was unnecessarily long. The appetizers came out just before the meal which didn't give us enough time to eat them before the entree. The dessert however were very good. I have been to Timber several time before & this is the first time I have been disappointed & the dinner was for a special birthday.
