Great view . Great food. Great service.
Very good, a very nice experience, we have never really done anything like this before, Leon was our server and he was AMAZING, please give him a raise and bonus.
It was our 20th anniversary in the United Kingdom. Me and my friends celebrated it at Ting Restaurant, Shangri-La, The Shard, London. It was a 10/10 experience. The food was amazing! Best view of London. We received a five star service from our server Jing and most especially from our wine sommelier Nathaniel who is knowledgeable, attentive and had a great recommendation. Lovely anniversary lunch! We will definitely come again and will be visiting regularly.
We would go back and an amazing setting and service was impeccable, but food is not five star. But lovely time in incredible location.
Very nice ambient, great view good service
Exceptional customer service, views,
Food & drink
Fantastic good, views and service. Highly recommend!!
Amazing dinner last night at Ting. Perfect way to watch the sun go down. 10/10 service
Service from the lovely Sabrina was superb. The afternoon tea was a lovely experience with east meets west, such a wonderful idea.
Fantastic staff & glorious outstanding lovely food
We were underwhelmed by the food considering the price of the afternoon tea and the Shangrila brand.
View was good, service wasnt great ( took half an hour to get a box to put our food in to go, food was mediocre.
Only 7 dishes from asian menu offered, instead of full menu. We were not informed if this before despite being chased to confirrm booking (not sure why customers could not be informed of reduced menu by email in advance?!), staff not very apologetic & instead kept asking if everything was ok (when they knew it wasn’t) we were finally offered a free glass of champagne when we asked for the bill.
Lovely atmosphere and view from the 35th tall. All staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The food was good and the cocktails amazing
I made a booking for four guests for afternoon tea at the restaurant for a special occasion. The food and the views at the restaurant were exquisite, please pass on my gratitude to the team for providing an excellent menu.
However, myself and my guests were disappointed with the environment in which we were sat in to eat the food. I am uncertain if the staff working on that day were new and therefore unaccustomed with the standard of service expected at a premium establishment. Whilst the staff were polite and courteous, they lacked the finesse I would expect of your type of establishment. The first part of the afternoon tea experience was a cup of orange liquid. We were uncertain if this was provided to clear the palette or to wash one's fingers at the start of the meal. The staff member serving us did not explain sufficiently what this dish was for.
During the meal I was informed about a change to the staff. It is not customary to inform guests that the kitchen staff have changed over service and therefore there may be an issue with the meal as this gives the impression that our reservation was an inconvenience for the hotel. It would have been better for the staff serving the courses to explain what each item was and confirm the order in which they should be eaten so as to compliment each other.
The table we were seated at was unsuitable for four guests having afternoon tea with plate stacks, tea cups and saucers, tea pots, strainers, water glasses, cocktails and cutlery. There simply was not enough space. Also, whilst the notion of a more relaxed setting is appreciated, eating food whilst sat essentially on a sofa at coffee table height is not suitable for this type of meal. I would have expected your staff to recognise there was insufficient space and place us at a larger table.
In addition, the carpet at the restaurant was dirty. The arms of the sofa we were sat at were well worn.
Not great veggie options for 4 veggies we had 3 mains available which were veggie.
Aubergine was not great
Goats cheese tart was yum
Noodles were yum too
Sides were fine
Service was ok- not as good as hutong or oblix or aquashard
Ambience is lovely
Another amazing experience at Ting. This place never lets you down. Jenny was superb, she was so attentive and it makes all the difference when the staff are good at their job. I can't wait to go back again, next time I'll try the after tea.
Lovely food, lovely service, lovely views. Would highly recommend
Very average. Stunning location of course. Service was mixed. Table not laid, hoovering going on, very attentive waiting staff to start with but then the shift changed. Multiple items not available (probably c25%...3 out of our 8 choices not available). Food in the main very ordinary and poor value with one or two exceptions.
Very good ,views beautiful, but pricey but that’s London
It was a fantastic evening
Excellent service, staff were very attentive. The food arrived very quick and tasted great. Views were amazing and we mentioned that it was are anniversary, we received a surprise dessert.
Everything was fine, good service, friendly staff but It was my birthday and I haven’t got the candle at the end like what I thought… so I was little bit disappointed !
Very lovely experience, staff were very kind and attentive. The food is beautifully presented and delicious. Had a lovely 18th birthday celebration celebrating with my friends. Had a window seat and enjoyed the amazing view of London.
This represents flying first-class with a top airline company. Our waiter Julien was friendly but not over-familiar, attentive but not instrusive, professional but not aloof.
Fantastic location, lovely ambiance, excellent food (5 course taster menu) but most importantly the service was outstanding.
Highly recommend this restaurant!
Fantastic experience right from the moment you walked in.
Given the location and prices we thought Ting at The Shard would be something special but it was largely underwhelming…the service was lovely and the view incredible, but that’s not enough. Their is an odd menu choice- British classics and Asian food which you can combine, with no Asian small plates . The cocktails were very average and mine tasteless…a nice wine menu with delicious beef and crispy noodle and lovely pudding. A very footballers wives crowd and our bill came to £253…if I think of Scott’s, The Wolesley, much less expensive and far better quality food - Ting is great for the views but one of the least value for money dining experiences.
Excellent service and wonderful food. We went there for our anniversary and they made it a very special evening for us.
Lovely experience! We had a great view and a lot of privacy. The people were amazing and Sumer helpful. The food and the drinks also very nice- we had the lamb and the noodles which were very tasty!
