Me & other friends (we are 6 persons) were really enjoying our Breakfast morning. The place magnificent. Spectaculer views! With Breakfast menu. I love the porridge & fruits set. The service were excllent. The Staff very helpfull & always ask if we needed anything.. Top Personels. This is my 2nd time had breakfast here everytime I visited London. Would def come back here again!!!
The restaurant came well recommended and it didn't disappoint, we had amazing views over London. Looking directly at tower bridge. The service couldn't have been better apart from the wine list being taken away before we ordered our bottle, only a minor point though. The food was amazing. Couldn't fault any of the three courses. The wine was lovely. They had a great selection. We would definitely eat there again.
You pay fairly high prices, but you receive oodles of ambience, very good service and excellent food. The only observation was that (even though I am nearly 6ft) the chairs were slightly low for the table height (or the table was too high...).
Worth a visit if you are feeling flush.
We visited Ting for my partners birthday! Small portions which is what we of course expected but really amazing view and food. They had happy birthday hand written on a small piece of gold chocolate which was very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend!
It was the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to unfortunately I will never recommend anybody to go there.
Fantastic service and phenomenal dinner!
We had a great table at the window with a superb view on the Tower Bridge.
We will definitely be back
Attentive, well trained staff, excellent sommelier. Pity we didn’t get the window table reservation requested several weeks before.
From the moment we walked in, all staff were super polite and helpful, the food was amazing, the vegetarian menu was presented to us, with a great explanation of each dish my Marie, she was an amazing host that made the experience even more outstanding!
Overall great experience we got a table with the view on Tower Bridge that was exactly what we asked for. The view was extraordinary and food was good. The waitress was nice but I had a little bit "posh feeling" from the restaurant.
For the location, we were expecting a higher standard of food. The price was quite reasonable, however the menu itself wasn’t on par with the higher end London restaurants. As always, the view was spectacular.
For all the hype, the meal was disappointing. The crab starter was tasteless and Caesar salad was simply bizarre and unedible (more like an anchovy and mayonnaise surprise). Main course OK but desserts again lacking taste. Even the waiters admitted that the chef's experiments are a bit hit and miss. So many different waiters served us that we lost count how many and they got a bit confused. Views were spectacular though.
Good food and ambience, staff were very nice and attentive!!!
Top Ausblick über London!!!! Service und Küche top... gerne wieder
Ting is at the top of the Shard building in London. It has very 360 views of the London’s cityscape however we didn’t get a table by the window even though it was requested in our reservation. The food was delicious and well presented however if you’re expecting some Chinese culture or taste there was none.
Our hostess had no idea of what was available for breakfast, or what drinks we could have. We were served by four different people. I paid cash and my change would have been around £5 the person who I gave the money to did not bring any change back and then left. Breakfast was cold. Very poor in comparison to our visits to other Shard restaurants.
Went to celebrate hubby’s birthday, they count us a window table which was stunning, the staff were lovely, food was lovely and arrived quick. Really stunning restaurant!
In 1 woord geweldig, met zakelijke relatie een geweldige plek gehad om zaken te bespreken. Kwaliteit eten is heel bijzonder, evenals de wijn, bediening en uitzicht. Echt een aanrader.
Very pleasant Breakfast. Fab way to start the week
Four of us attended for a birthday event. We had a choice of a three, five or seven course menu. Went for three course menu and found food was ok but was hoping it would have been a lot nicer. Layout of the restaurant was good but staff (of which there were many) seemed to be very unorganised and not as attentive as I was expecting. Many times we were thinking of getting up and going over to the place they stored your bottles to pour ourselves....and the place did not seem that busy.
Whilst the food was great. We ideally would have liked to have been seated near a window. Furthermore, we felt as though we were being hurried along and encouraged to leave rather than let us enjoy our meal, that we paid 'good' money for. Our dessert arrived around five minutes after our main, and my partner's plate was taken away before she had actually finished eating her main.
Lovely views and a very nice ambiance and great service. Menu was maybe a little limited - I am not vegetarian but did not notice much available for vegetarians, which stands out a little. Food was very well prepared and presented. In terms of value, not cheap but worth the money.
料理は美味しい。間違いなく。でも総合的なコスパとしてはやはり高いかな。ロンドンの物価なりでしょうか。
There is no denying that the view is spectacular. Food, however, was disappointing. My starter of crab terrine contained a piece of shell and was bland. My friend couldn't finish her beef tartare. Bread was served with an anchovy butter that was just weird and unpleasant. I had the ribeye my main course: 2 x 2 inch chunks of tough meat, one of which was 50% fat. When I challenged the waiter about this he said that ribeye is a fatty cut (correct) and that the fat is the eye of the ribeye (incorrect). He did not apologise or offer any compensation for the fact that one quarter of the ribeye was inedible. Then when the bill came (and it's not cheap at £70 for 3 small courses), we had been charged for a bottle of champagne that we did not order. I eat in lots of restaurants, both good and average, but I will not eat here again.
Amazing service
Astonishing views
Awesome food
Efficient and freindky
Excellent restaurant with impeccable and flawless service. Truly the greatest I have ever dined at and I look forward to dining there again. However, I do wish that the lights above the window seats could be adjustable in brightness in order to compliment the outstanding view.
We have been to Ting for many special dinners and they have all been excellent until this one. They forgot to bring us bread, the service was extremely attentive to the table next to us, but sadly not ours. The food was not nearly as good as it has been previously. My wife ordered the rib eye, but it was the toughest meat I have ever experienced and we had to return it. It was my daughter’s birthday, yet they only gave it passing mention at the end. We ordered coffee with desert, but it came way before the desert.
Atmosphere, decor, view, comfort, service all excellent and exactly what we hoped for. The food, however, was disappointing. Whilst tasty, the portion sizes were so small it was laughable, and simply not enough accompaniments to the main item. My chicken dish included one baby leek by way of vegetables for example. Despite having 3 courses, we left hungry and ate a further snack on arriving home.
The staff were absolutely fantastic food was exceptional the window seat had brilliant views
The food wasn’t good and the service was poor. Good view
Average food, extremely overpriced. Staff was attentive but there’s a fine line between asking how the food is once or about five times. Staff was too intrusive.
The view is amazing. Went there for breakfast and the a la cart dishes are not great. Quite basic and simple for the value.
If you want to go for the view is great but don’t expect much of the breakfast food.
The service was great!
Experience was really amazing would highly recommend
This is simple. Amazing food, well organised yet informal service and incredible views across London. Leave your wallet worries at the door and book.
Service impeccable...
Vue magnifique...
Nourritures très bonnes...
Cadre irréprochables...
Un vrai pur moment de bonheur 😍
Took my wife for her Birthday, my daughter also accompanied us.
The staff were very friendly and Welcoming.
The Waiter who served us was very informative and had suggested the correct dining options, to accommodate the Halal options.
The offer we had served us glasses of champagne and since we don't drink alcoholic beverages, they very kindly served us Non Alcoholic mocktails as a replacement.
Towards the end of our food the waiter had arranged members of the kitchen staff to prepare some complimentary biscuits and cakes with a lovely birthday message written on an eatable chocolate.
The views from the restaurant was breathtaking and a great ambient atmosphere altogether.
The waiter also took good care and attention to my daughter's needs.
I would highly recommend this to all friends and family, should they wish to experience Shard visit followed with a dining experience at Ting restaurant.
A huge thank you to our Waiter and everyone at the Ting.
Warm Regards
A R Uddin
Food was not that grate
I've been to Ting before and loved it however this time was not as good. The set menu had purely vegetarian options of a carrot dish, a cauliflower dish and a gnocchi. We all asked for the gnocchi and they didn't have any left. I was recommended the carrot, but it really didn't appeal. So was forced onto the a la carte. The chicken dish I ordered was delicious, however it was really small portion size for £40. The breast itself was a small size, then there were two tiny balls of potato, the size of a cheese ball crisp each, one baby leek, one tiny sage & onion cylinder, the size of a £2 coin, an onion ring and onion puree. Although delicious it was not worth £40. Similar size seen for the lamb dish that our client had, who we were taking out to lunch. And the cauliflower that my colleague had from the set menu was essentially a whole head of cauliflower, and very dull. Being still hungry by the end of the main course we did have pudding which again were delicious but the prices did not reflect the overall experience. I felt the wine waiter was pushy and as soon as he saw that I was choosing a wine he approached the table, removed the menu from my hand and proceeded to take the choice out of our hands. His recommendation of a £78 bottle of wine for lunch is optimistic at best and left me in the awkward position in front of a client of having to say no and choose a cheaper alternative. It's a shame as Ting was a favourite lunch venue to take clients, however I will not be returning now.
we had a 7-Course meal which was amazing ! Thanks to Soner and his team to makes our dinner special. Keep it up!
Excellent food and the view of London is stunning. Had a table next to window. Fixed menues for lunch or. A la Carte, but I guess you can have just a selection from the A la Carte Menu. We had Not a Ceasar's Salad for a starter, delicious! Lamb as main course and a fantastic dessert with Chocolate/Sorbet (almost too much!!)
This was my second visit and I must say that this is value for money evne though you might consider it expensive for lunch it is worth it once in a while! Many people seem to come here to salubrate a Birthday or an Anniversary and it happens that you get an extra "appetizer". Last time we visited four years ago, our child got a birthday cake and a toy!
