Good food, good service. Nice spot away from the clamour of canary wharf.
Overall it is good but not outstanding. Food overall meets a good standard but without a "Wow", main dishes are slightly too salty. Ordered chocolate and peanut butter mousse as desert, doesn't feel like it is made in house, some ice crystal still appears on the cake, do not recommend this dish at all.
Had 40th birthday brunch there, waiter was really attentative and food was excellent.
We have dined here a few times before and once again food was great, service was outstanding. We didn’t know children dined for free on weekends and waiter explained, she even charged my phone!
I like the fact that tables are not squeezed closely together, feels spacious and airy. Also staff are child friendly!
Would highly recommend it!
Perfect place with children during the weekend.
Delicious food & cocktails, friendly knowledgeable Italian waitress. Being in the City it was quiet on a Saturday night - lovely.
Brunch was delicious- had the Turkish Eggs which was really flavoursome
Food and service was excellent. Don’t miss the home made bread I haven’t tasted bread as good as that in a long while.
First class delicious food
Just the right amount and fully GF aware
Simple menu executed well .
Had an informal business lunch, like the new vegan and veggie options. Please continue developing these options. Service was great.
Big supporter of Mr Aitken and absolutely loved the food. Had a few specials and some from the menu and made a perfect Saturday lunch. Reasonable priced as well. Well Done!
Great spot for a business lunch. Uncomplicated and efficient.
Went here for the first time for breakfast on Easter Monday so it wasn't very busy. A very relaxed atmosphere though and chilled out with great service and very attentive staff. We all had the Full English breakfast which looked quite sparse when it turned up, but then the toast and beans arrived and completed our dish which was very tasty and filling. Coffee was also good (which is a must for me!). Would love to go back there for lunch sometime.
Food was excellent and good value, would recommend for regular eating in smart surroundings. Quite buzzy even on a quiet weekday evening when we visited.
Service was friendly and attentive.
The food was as good as you'd expect from Tom's Kitchen - the bonus here is the courtyard outside. After we'd had a lovely brunch, the children went and ran it off, I got to enjoy a moment of peace, and then everyone had space for desert. Perfect Mother's Day morning!
simply perfect fish and chips on a Friday - with the best crushed peas and tartare sauce - cannot be bettered food-wise - service was a little slow for a business lunchtime.
Good restaurant if you want to actually talk to your fellow diners - food always good, and the staff are very pleasant and helpful
Have been to this restaurant before and will no doubt go again. However, when I went last week, they must have been having an "off day" as the service was not up to it's usual standard - it is very rare that the chef will actually serve you at your table and the drinks took a very long timew to arrive on two occassions. Like I say, obviously an "off day" which is rare for them.
Afternoon coffee and cake was excellent, especially the carrot cake but if you want a real treat stay until 5pm for happy hour as the cocktails are very good.
Service was poor and slow. Food expensive for what you get.
Went here for a Valentines brunch and it was a great choice. The service of the staff was great, they were very polite and helpful. The food was of the quality I expected from the reviews I have read. It has become one of my favourite brunch venues.
Arrived early but not too busy so seated straight away. Cocktails aplenty, olives, bread, wine! Amazing scallops! Main course rib eye steaks were delicious, muscles were huge & very tasty. Pudding to share divine more cocktails! Amazing friendly service, very good evening!
Great food ! Cute service
No real complaints about the food here. Everything we ordered was great. Only one slight gripe was that our sides did not arrive with the mains and we had to ask where they were (after 10 mins) I am not sure they would have arrived if we hadn't prompted.
Spiced Creme Brulee was particularly good though.
From the reviews before I was looking forward to this, sadly was disappointed that the food was just ok the menu looks amazing but really doesn't live up to the reputation the place has. I wouldn't go back sadly and it hurts me to say that.
Average food, some of our side order didn't arrive until we had nearly finished our main dishes. It's also really noisy in here, no need to have the music so loud at lunch time . Please adjust the volume as the sound bounces off the tiled walls. Good venue for evening drinks but I remain unconvinced for lunch.
Friendly polite staff.Restaurant which predominantly caters for Canary workers has a nice ambience good food generous portions
Had to wait a long time to be served. Incorrect dishes appeared twice. Mis-charged on bill. The service really let down the whole expeience.
Lovely restaurant and great place for kids, even my 17 months old picky eater loves the food there.
Great for brunch/ breakfast on a weekend. Nice relaxed, friendly service. We were there for 2hrs and they didn't rush us, which was great.
I really like the setting, food and staff. Recommended.
First time we came and it was very good experience with a good service and the food was amazing.
After 8 cocktail is a must for dessert
it is simply good food, service and really nice place.
Great food, great service, polite staff, nice & quiet, easy to have a conversation without shouting, what wasn't there to like?
Staff very attentive and really looked after U.S. Food excellent
Went in the festive period and oh my god they had these truffled eggs benedict that were to die for! I haven't had them since even though I still have cravings for them... can't wait for Christmas this year just to go again! Great little place in Canary Wharf, quite quiet as not a lot of people know about it yet as it seems so very nice for date night/friends/family days out
Have been here once before and was unimpressed, but returned as our friends wanted to try it - I remain unimpressed and regret our choice to dine here again. Asked for burger cooked medium, arrived rare and didn't taste nice, could hardly eat it. I got my main for free as a result but the same thing happened to another on our table and they didn't get offered their main for free. Truffled Mac and cheese side was delicious!! Was fairly quiet on a Saturday night, although maybe to be expected in Canary Wharf. Also beer arrived warm and had to ask for it to be changed to a different drink. Whilst the front of house was very friendly as well as the manager, the waitress was not friendly or helpful. Will not be returning.
I took clients to Tom's Kitchen for last week and was impressed with the level of service and value for money - We were there for over 3 hours, and were well looked after and would recommend this for anyone wanting to take clients out within the Canary Wharf area
