Beautiful outdoor eating yesterday with a fire pit to keep us warm!

Checked in with hostess who was rude. Finally showed us to our outdoor table by “pointing” to it which was by a fire pit, but had no available working heaters to assist with taking the chill off. The menu was extremely limited, a lot less than what was shown online and they didn’t even have one of limited items listed! Our waiter was nice and was apologetic for the menu, but we ended up leaving due to the experience with the hostess.

Website menu was very out of date, showing items and specials not recognized.
Dining out side was expected but did not use the heaters (that were available) ........much colder than was necessary. Servers and wait staff were very accommodating.......will return!

We had to ask the server to refill our water several times. He didn’t check on us much and when the bill came he basically argued with us about an item we never ordered nor received that was on the ticket. The food was just ok (my burger was super dry), but the shrimp and crab appetizer was good!

Food was delicious. Quiet atmosphere. Servers allowed us time to enjoy each dish without rushing us.

The food is pricey but very delicious and I feel worth splurging for an evening. The ambiance was wonderful minus the loud hip hop style music. The location is amongst the best you'll find in D.C. right on the Potomac River.

Our server seemed rushed, hardly any communication m, maybe it was because of keeping Covid distance. Food was great!

Met family there to celebrate a birthday. Staff were very welcoming. Seated quickly, Food hot and delicious. Waiter, Joey, very professional and kind.

The food was outstanding. They were very few people there so it was quiet. A great place for a special occasion.

Fantastic Thanksgiving dinner. First time here since the 1987, after they first opened. Met Tony!! I’ll definitely be back again soon!

The food was great, the manager was a little rude and stand offish. The Waiter we had was cool by the end of the night. I would defiantly go back but they just need some training on friendliness

Great spot to eat with awesome views of the Potomac. Food is very good, well served, and priced reasonably. Staff and management are very COVID aware and take active measures and precautions.

Food and sitting by the river were GREAT, service was poor. After waiting 10 minutes for pepper & water I got them myself. Also, though they had VERY few customers, the server rarely checked on us. [My friend missed dessert due to a time crunch.]

My food was came with fries with no ketchup in the small cup (usually served this way in meals with fries) so I asked for ketchup and they brought me ketchup packets due to Covid. I expected the packets but I did not expect them to be cold nor the waiter's response "the manager wouldn't do anything".

I am a traveler who frequently visits the DC area & this may be the WORST service that I have had anywhere. Server was absolutely HORRIBLE. Imagine being seated and not even being acknowledged by your waiter/ress for exactly 10 mins, then he/she brings water and doesn't come back for another 10-15 minutes. So finally after sitting waiting for 25-30 minutes they come to take your order. Fold comes it's actually pretty good. However your thirsty due to the fact that your server hasnt been back to refill your beverages. You dont see her until it's time for them to bring the check. This could have been a very nice Bday experience for my friend. I just wished I wld have picked one of the other restaurants on the harbor. I will never visit this place again due to the horrible service.

Everything was amazing. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious and priced well.

Great experience. Was able to get a table outside for 6 and the service was safe and food/drinks was delicious.

Good price for the price. It was a bit noisy but considering there were some large group, it’s understandable. I’ll probably go back during the summer where I can enjoy the outdoors !

Restaurant was well maintained and clean. The staff were very punctual and helpful. Would love to go back and try a different dish.

My friend was served a flat beer but they did replace it. Food was very good.

A disappointing experience. We went for dinner expecting to have fresh seafood but instead we got bland seafood that might have been frozen for too long. We ordered the seafood tower. The shrimp were not firm but mushy and the lobster taste less. To eat it took a lot of horseradish sauce! The only saving grace was the service, very attentive.

The food as always was delicious. Had Swordfish. Wife had Salmon. The service also was excellent.

Bought a coupon online on their site for a half off deal. Service was great, food was good too

This is my 3rd time dining at this restaurant, thanks to Groupon. It"s always a great experience not to mention the view of the water. I had a chance to enjoy more cocktails after dinner on the patio. I would visit again the food is always spectacular.

We are outdoors because of COVID, and it was lovely. I only rated four stars because it really is pricy. That said, our server, Matt, was wonderful and very attentive without hovering. I would return just for that.

The food was solid but you go more for the scenery and the view. It was spectacular weather and our service was good

The food has gone down in quality. The Shrimp and grits I had, had no taste. We ordered the starter - chillie shrimp that was great.

Salmon terriyaki was excellent!

Only came here because Sequoia was full. Food was ok but I observed The servers talking over people's food md drinka without a mask. I'm sorry to say that this is a huge consideration when choosing a dining options these days. If your establishment can't adhere to basic health guidelines, I will not be back.

All things considered, the experience was good. The timeliness of the service was of a concern, in that it took longer than usual to get our orders to the table.

My wife and I, celebrating our wedding anniversary, had an absolutely wonderful time. Our server, named Allen, could not have been nicer, He was attentive, engaging and always seemed to be there just when we turned our heads to look for him. The food was fantastic - as we had expected. It was cooked perfectly, was fresh and there were very hardy servings...... no small plates for us that night!
