Tony & Joe's Seafood Place
Crab Cake Sandwich
jumbo lump crab, tartar sauce, brioche
Shrimp and Grits
spicy - tasso ham, tomato, scallion, red pepper
Canada - broccoli, baby carrots, fingerling potatoes, ginger teriyaki glaze
This was billed as a medium to higher end type of place and it’s just over priced cheap food.
The Thanksgiving experience was great. Plenty of food, all delicious and came out quickly. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the roast beef was very juicy. Going back for regular meal.
Excellent, food, staff, service, location and views.
Great service, great food, and excellent view. I hadn't been in a long time but it was better than I remember it.
Excellent food, excellent service. A bit pricey but the add in the stunning view and it's worth the cost.
They were outstanding! This was a business dinner so I needed a table that was quite and had great water views. They accommodated both, provided excellent services and my clients loved the food! Win! Win! Win! Thank you Tony & Joe's.
TERRIBLE FOOD LOUD PLACE DONT EVER GO. NO WAY TO GO AGAIN IT IS JUST TERRIBLE
TERRIBLE PLACE DRINKS DISGUSTING
Excellent service and great food! The New England Clam Chowder is so good!
The food wa
Not the best overall. Food came out lukewarm and we even had to turn one back which was taken off the bill.
Thank you and your staff for making my son’s birthday memorable.
The fish tacos were nasty and I sent them back. Crab legs over priced and flavorless. A complete waste of money. I will never go back!!
It was our first visit to the location and we were not disappointed. My wife had the jumbo crab salad and for her entree the King Crab Legs, I had the roasted chicken. Both of our entrees were excellent. We did not get a chance to eat outside but if we return we will take the opportunity to do it next time.
I have been to Tony & Joe several times from the past and it was good but this time it was not the same. The service was slow and I understood they were busy and looks like they were under staffs. Everything seem to take forever after we ordered even when the restaurant were slowdown, There were 3 of us at the party and after we asked for the check we were charged a gratuities on the bill and the server didn't even told us that she did add the tips on the check and when we asked her she said that because we were seating at the table of 6 ( we didn't request for the table)
the system is automatically add the service charge, I am in the restaurant business even with a bad service always tips 20% and I dine out 1-2 times a week never got service charge on the check. I wouldn't minded if they were going to charge the tips on the check if they provided a good service but they didn't so we felt insulting and being taking advantage off. I would not be return to Tony and Joe again.
The food was excellent and Tony himself visited our table twice! He has a right to be proud of his fine restaurant and employees. Great location on the water. The swordfish was incredible and a very generous portion. Loved the shrimp appetizer too.
Food and service were great! Beautiful setting. Great drink menu as well
Our family got together at Tony & Joe’s for dinner before attending a pre wedding cocktail party at Fiola Mare. We really enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio and the crabcakes were delicious.
Food was great! We had a nice table by the window. Service was good. Couldn’t ask for more
The experience was fine, but not what I expect for Tony and Joe’s. Significantly less upscale experience sitting outside and the food was fine but average.
The food is really delicious, the server is really kind and informatif,
Thank you so much for a cup of cappucino. Will visit again when in D.C
Our waiter was inattentive. The food was mediocre for being so expensive. I am now embarrassed that I suggested to my company that we eat there.
Overall the food was good.
Always amazing views
Our waiter never removed the menus from the table & we had to ask & wait for small plates for our starters
Very accommodating with my some of my group who arrived after we were seated
I thought the food was fine. I wouldn’t recommend that honey smoked salmon salad. Salad was super underwhelming and not much dressIng. The biggest upset, however, was how they charged me $25 to “add” a crab cake to my salad. My salad cost $18. The crab cake was $25. I would’ve never added it had they warned me but they snuck it in through MP. I thought max it would be $15. So rediculous. I get why this place doesn’t have great ratings.
Service was very slow. Also the food was not that great for the price point. Not many options. A friend had to reorder her food because it didn’t look like it was cooked. The best thing was the dessert. Though not overall bad, I will not visit here again.
Beautiful atmosphere for bringing friends together!
Wonderful experience. Generous portions, great seafood. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Restroom was a downer, clean, but not up to the quality feel of a first class restaurant.
Great location and good food. Music from the parked yachts was a bit loud. Took a few minutes for our waiter to appear, but service was very good.
We had a great meal at Tony & Joe's. We sat outside. Food was great!
Seated quickly and food came out in very good time. Will
Definitely go again.
Great quality food! Very fresh and succulent Mahi Mahi
Amazing dinner, everything was delicious and the staff was appropriately attentive. We had a large group sit directly behind us, but the noise wasn’t disruptive. We were seated at a table by the windows and got to see a beautiful sunset.
excellent food and drinks...
service was very friendly - just really slow
Waiter lied & said we didn’t order- wasted an hour of our time
Let's be clear: you come to Tony and Joes for the ambiance and water view. Outside of that, it feels kind of like an upscale, over-priced Red Lobster. The food is subpar. I ended up sending my shrimp and grits back because the shrimp were undercooked and the grits were soggy. My mom ordered the crabcake platter, which consisted of one small cake atop a large mound of fresh vegetables (corn, zuchinni, baby potatoes, peppers). While the crabcake tasted fine, it wasn't large enough to warrant the $35 price tag. Before receiving our entrees, we received a bread basket which tasted stale. The best part of the meal was the crab dip which was chock full of lump crab, which made it easier to swallow the $18 price.
Service was just OK. The waiter didn't go out of his way to make us feel welcomed, and when I shared my concerns about the shrimp and grits, he nodded as if he'd heard it before, and then asked if I wanted something else in a rather annoying voice.
My mother remarked that she wished the menu had more variety, especially in the side dish department (maybe a baked potato, rice, or mashed potato option)?
Tony and Joes is in a beautiful, prime location. Just wish the food was equally as prime.
Service was good, food ok. Did not really get much value for money. Paid $8 for a glass of beer and $15 for a cocktail, and they had to be served in a cheap plastic cup? The staff were very friendly and nice though.
We had the best oysters!
Old bay fries were awesome!
Lived my sighting abs my son. Loved the stock pot !
Half of the mussels were still closed. Server responds “that’s how it is sometimes” // martinis are served in a wine glass and not chilled. Turn and burn atmosphere. No engagement.
Other than that. The oysters were very good. Crab cake was full of flavor. ++
