TOZI Restaurant & Bar
Would recommend the restaurant as the food was brilliant apart from the duck sharing dish which quite frankly tasted like my nans stew
Our waitress was the rudest individual I have ever encountered in my entire life!! She acted like she couldn’t understand what I was trying to order then lectured me on the spoon usage for my soup who shares a soup spoon ?!? Then when I tried to pay her she wouldn’t touch my card but just Motrin for me to put it in the receptacle and wouldn’t make eye contact worst dining experience ever
The customer service here is utterly outstanding. My friend and I were made to feel like kings and queens. One dish that we didn’t like (too much batter for us), the manager took it off our bill! We didn’t even complain about it as it was our choice at the end of the day but he did it anyways. Apart from that one dish it is really nice food too. Not the cheapest but the service makes up for everything.
The Italian tapas concept is a very good idea. Everything we ordered was succulent.
And service was very friendly and efficient.
Food was over priced and bland, nothing was seasoned and felt extremely pricey for what it was. Service was poor, the staff were not friendly and we constantly struggled to get their attention. I had seen this restaurant on instagram and was so excited, however, was thoroughly let down.
Lovely food. Staff are really friendly and helpful.
Of the small plates we had, the octopus, ox cheek and aubergine parmigiana were the best. Next time, we might just take 2 of these plates.
good for dates, pre-theatre and discovering new flavours.
love the idea of lots of little dishes but found wines pricey.
Amazing food and service!!! Thanks for great night!
Fabulous food and atmosphere. Lovely. polite and friendly staff !
Italian tapas. Very tasty. All the share. We like the ricotta ravioli with truffle best.
Spacious and generous dining area, was given a prime round table next to the window. The menu selection is very good, approaching excellent. Prices on wine too high, such mark ups are unnecessary.
One Service error: One plate of food was brought to the table before the wine.
Always a great experience. Favourite go to place.
Great food, but portions sizes were very small. We were a big table and wanted to share lots but had to order multiple of one dish for everyone to have a small bite.
My wife and I had a rare night out, and I chose the restaurant based on other reviews. We had never been to an Italian Tapas style restaurant before, and both loved the range of dishes on offer.
Situated just a short walk from the station and the theatres everyone was friendly and accommodating, explaining exactly what was in each dish and how it would be served. For this reason I was not adverse to the service charge being automatically included to the bill at the end of the evening.
The dishes are varied, with I would think something for everyone, and they are reasonably priced when taking into consideration that you need to order 2-3 dishes to constitute a normal main course.
An added bonus to the whole experience was the learn Italian tapes that played in the toilets, it made the walk to the theatre after a little more fun as we tried to use our new phrase on each other.
It was one of those restaurant experiences that sticks with you. Definitely recommend anyone to go there and sit for hours with a group, as we were on a timeline whcih they beautifully accounted for. Food was so good that I have yet stop crying and thank the universe for being alive, and for TOZI to remind me that I indeed am.
We had the recommended 3 dishes per person which was perfect for us. Every one of them was superb and followed by two delicious desserts. We booked on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was still pretty full with a lovely atmosphere.
Good food, lovley atmosphere and excellent service!
The food is fabulous authentic Italian with a twist. The cocktails and gin are really good. And, most importantly, the staff know what they are talking about as well as providing excellent service. A professionally run and yet relaxed place to enjoy a 2 person meal, a drink or a get together with friends. We will definitely be back.
A lively venue, not the place for an intimate dinner for two, but the noise level gives a nice background buzz and didn't impact on our table of four being able to chat. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We ordered ten plates between us. All were delicious. Some were easier to share than others, and my only minor issue would be that this can mean that you could end up with quite a variation in portion sizes. Will definitely return when in the area.
Wonderful find of a Chichetti restaurant find very close to Victoria Station.
Recently visited Venice, and so happy to find this in London.
Excellent food, service and hospitality. Grazie.
This restaurant is a great find in Victoria. Food and service very good but I did find the restaurant very noisy and so difficult to have a conversation. Our table for 2 was nearly on the stairs so I would want to avoid this next time we visit. Would score 5 stars if the noise level could be sorted.
Amazing restaurant , lovely atmosphere and tasty food.
Second time at Tozi and I was a little disappointed with the food this time. Same wonderful, friendly service. Same great atmosphere, same handy location near Victoria Station, but two of our pasta dishes tasted same-same even though they were meant to be completely different. A roast veg small plate had very little veg on it, and a large main course pasta dish with duck to share, was very over priced. Some positives for sure, but be careful what you order and it seems expensive for the portion sizes.
Lovely food, lovely friendly staff, I would recommend.
I visited this restaurant pre theatre and the alarm went off in the middle of our meal and the whole block was evacuated. When we returned to the restaurant the chef quickly cooked more food and the staff whizzed round so we weren’t late for the theatre.
Really nice spot. Good menu and service. Very close to Victoria . Authentic italian.
Superb welcoming service, great hosts and wine list. Food highlights were the Ox Cheeks! Overall food was great, although the batter on the Soft Shell Crab and Frito Misto was heavy and thick which didn’t do justice to its self.
All good but the staff are clearly asked to upsell to those like us who want the pre theatre menu. This is very irritating
Nice friendly atmosphere with a good selection of dishes designed for sharing.
Booked a pre-Wicked table for for 6:00 pm. Show 7:30. We were 15mins late arriving Toni staff were across menus, suggestions for ordering and timing without fuss. Very professional. Small, but excellent food servings. Definitely a “find”.
The staff are unbeatable! The food are terrific! We live the small dishes
This was a repeat visit and it didn’t disappoint. The food is creative and unlike anything I’ve had elsewhere. The only difficulty is choosing which dishes to eat.
The service was excellent and the restaurant setting is good. The food was good but not as good as it has been on previous visits. Aubergine bake was luke warm.
Un véritable délice !
I love Tozi - I took my 17 year old for lunch and it was just fabulous - great waitress and wonderful food ✨✨✨✨
The service at Tozi was beyond excellent. And the food was just as good.
Fantastic service across the board. Sensational food with a stunning 500g of beef to share but beautiful sharing dishes before. Great Scicilian wine recommendation.
Very pleasant and spacious place to get together with friends for delicious food and a catch up. Service was good and very helpful.
tasty food as always - would recommend 3 small plates each - service very good - they were also very good at accommodating a unexpected guest who arrived
