Trattoria Aroma - Williamsville
Romaine, house-made croutons, shaved parmigiano-reggiano, anchovies, house caesar dressing
Great food and friendly staff. Made an out of town family happy after a long day driving
Great food. Great service. Had quiet booth next to bar with two patrons. Not crowded at all (6pm Tues). Glad I've rediscovered this place as hadn't been in a while.
Always good food. Reliable. Friendly service. Was a little slow this time because they were busy.
Great personal service. Delicious food!!
Been going there for years ... still excellent !!!!
Had the spinach bread appetizer; excellent!
Others had pizzas; I had the Bolonese. Also, very good.
One of the few places I've seen that lists the Boulevardier cocktail; did a good job on this as well.
The food was excellent.
Tables well spaced.
Never disappointed. Food is always excellent and a go to for family celebrations.
Fantastic from start to finish. We allowed our waitress/server to pick our menu on the spot. It was wonderful.
Consistently high quality food, a nice array of specials, and a wonderful wine list. Super and cordial service, as Amy our server on my two most recent visits, was very engaging and recommended a wine that was outstanding.
Great food, wine, service and atmosphere.... fabulous dining experience!
Food and Service were excellent! This place has been consistently good for the past 15 years that my wife and I have been going.
This little restaurant is a hidden gem. While I’ve eaten there many times I was reminded again of how great it is when revisiting after a long covid year. The house salad was delicious with an assortment of crisp fresh greens and veggies. The special halibut with a pea risotto was outstanding. Our server was friendly and attentive. This all made for a very pleasant evening out!
We like the one in downtown Buffalo but this one looks and feels like a cross between a diner and a funeral. Depressing vibe.
We sat at the bar and the server was so friendly and attentive! Had a wonderful glass of red wine, he suggested! My husband and I spit the margherita pizza which was cooked to persecution! The crust so light and that wood fire crunch! We also split the salmon special which was delicious! We ended the evening with tiramisu yum!!! Highly recommend! All the employees were so friendly and food delicious
Really fun place, the vibe is cute and somewhere between fancy and casual. The service was very personal and great overall. Food (5 stars)
The food is consistently good and we always enjoy our experience as Trattoria Aroma.
Good dinner and easy to make a reservation. The food was delicious
Always an excellent experience! Enjoy staff and food
very quiet and personal space with great good ole fashion Italian food
It was a lovely place! They even remembered it was our anniversary when we showed up and congratulated us. The food and drinks was wonderful.
Great food & place.
“Have the veal, it’s the best in the city.” Two out of the four of us did and we would have to concur. We were there to celebrate our recent engagement and my betrothed suggested Trattoria Aroma and I was delighted she did. I hadn’t been there for some time. It was every bit as goods I remember. The food and ambiance is the closest thing you will get to dining in Rome. It might just be the best and most authentic Italian restaurant in town.
Manager was acting as the only hostess and waiter because there was one person working the pizza and one other person waiting tables. Waited 20 minutes before even getting a menu or ordering any drinks. Did not get any bread until 40 minutes in. We had a party of 8 and our came out at different times; pizza was made incorrectly and had to be remade after pasta dishes were served. We got free desserts because we were celebrating a birthday, but overall, we spent 2 hours and 45 minutes at the restaurant (it took forever). Pasta dishes were not very good.
Great overall experience highly recommended will return
Love the restaurant and we’ve been there many times over the years. Wait staff attentive but clearly there were problems in the kitchen that evening. Our food took forever to arrive. Chalking this up to the uncertainties around running a restaurant in COVID-times. Definitely will be back for another visit and am hoping this was a one-time issue, because once it came out, the food was delicious.
Always consistent. A great choice when you are looking for quality food with personal service.
Both of our meals were delicious. The desserts were delicious. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We ran into a glitch towards the end with a gift card and the owner stepped up in class act fashion.
We will definitely be back.
Outstanding food and great service.
We got to talk at length with our server about recent events and how the restuarantwas doing.
Really a great exerience.
They were out of salmon and the shrimp was very expensive ($2 each for small to medium shrimp). The bread did not seem fresh. The pasta was standard, but was not a meal I would go out of my way for for the price.
Friendly service, delicious food and a warm family feeling.
Our waitress was fairly new and still was able to make specific recommendations on food and wine. Everything from our salads to the dessert ( we split a generous size of chocolate cake) was very good.
Our only concern was that our server never wore her mask correctly; it never covered her nose. Won’t return during pandemic.
We were seated outdoors perfectly social distanced from other customers. All six of ordered different dishes, with not one complaint. I had the filet which was done to perfection! My husband had the bolgenese sauce with pasta and it was outstanding! We will definitely return. Kindest waitress Skylar who was very attentive as well.
The restaurant is very clean in both the DR and bathroom. The food is excellent and the service is very friendly.
Everything was perfect. The service food and overall experience
Good selection of food. Good wine list. Ambience was very nice. Owner made feel very welcome to the restaurant
The food is absolutely delicious, service outstanding and bathroom super clean! Can not wait to visit again.
This was a first visit. Very competent bartender (daquiri and Manhattan)---cheers! This visit was on a
Wednesday------classic Italian night. My husband and I ordered chicken parm and lasagna respectively,
as well as a large Caesar salad to share and the garlic bread and a bottle of Sangiovese wine (a $24 bargain
on "classic night"). Italian bread accompanied by dipping oil was also served. If we would have known this,
we might have not ordered the garlic bread ($5). Therein comes my only quibble----if you are going to
serve garlic bread, gosh darn it, put some GARLIC on it. Also, might have been nice touch if the bread served with the oil was warm. Overall the food was delicious and plentiful---both took "to go" containers.
It also was fun watching the pizziolo throwing dough in the air, making pizzas. Also, great music to complete the ambiance---old classics (Moon River, theme from the Godfather [LOL!], etc.----perfect!!)
Went with my daughter, we enjoyed it very much
