We were surprised how very loud it was in there. The services was wonderful and the food what you would expect from Hershey Hotel.
A delicious meal from the new menu at Trevi V. I loved the Prosciutto D’Parma and Cantaloupe salad. Although under the salad section of the menu, there were no greens which was great. Very tasty fresh cantaloupe. The chicken picatta was very good and was served with field greens so it was a great pairing with the Prosciutto and Cantaloupe. My husband enjoyed the Porcini Mushroom & Taleggio Bruschetta . He also had the Bolognese Tagliatelle, which he's had many times and always finds tasty. The service is always top notch from the host to servers and other staff. My only reason for rating the value a '4' is the drink prices -- a bit steep, but a very good espresso martini. We are local and love Trevi V.
Guests should be aware that dinner is not served before 5:00 PM. If you arrive before that time you must order off the luncheon menu.
Good food and wine.
We’ve been to Trevi 5 numerous times. It’s the best Italian restaurant we’ve ever been to! So good!
We loved the ambiance and the service at Trevi but unfortunately not everyone in our group had a great meal. The bolognese and the butternut squash gnocchi were great. However, the chicken piccata was bland and the chicken was dry. The winter mushroom and local hen egg pizza was inedible due to the amount of salt that was used. You could even see it on the bottom of the crust. We tried the Italian cookies for dessert and they were also a disappointment. One was topped with pistachios and the taste and odor of the cookie was just off. One of our guests described it as tasting like meat with the odor of dirty socks. We mentioned it to the server, who talked with the chef, who said that was the way it was supposed to taste. It is quite possible that the pistachios were rancid which would explain the taste and odor. Our server was great but after having two separate issues with food that we returned you would expect those charges to be removed from the bill. Unfortunately they weren't.
Service good as always. Room vibrant. Food very good but not as exceptional as usual, a bit salty. We are regulars and enjoy Trevi. Will keep coming!
Our experience at Trevi5 was wonderful. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by a very friendly manager who seated us. Our waitress was great. I’m sorry I forgot her name, but she was very attentive and professional. We happen to mention that we were celebrating a special occasion. At the end of the meal we were given a special complimentary dessert. In speaking of the meal, the food was so delicious and we loved the bread. So to sum it up our experience was FABULOUS!!
Very average food and servive
As always, the staff makes the dining experience the best it can be. The food is excellent as is the service. We were celebrating birthdays and they even brought us two complimentary chocolate covered strawberries on a dish with "happy birthday" inscribed in chocolate. Very special.
Great atmosphere. Mediocre food. Very slow service.
Loved the atmosphere. Our waitress, Catherine was awesome! Food was great, we were just too full from an earlier chocolate tasting. A little pricey but it's in the Hershey Hotel so its to be expected. So, go hungry so you eat everything and don't do a chocolate tasting before!🥰
Our second time at Trevi 5. The first was not very memorable. Overall, the food was very good. The foccia was excellent along with what our waiter told us was "house-made" olive oil? They must grow the olive trees out back of the hotel. ;-) My wife had the a mixed green salad and the pumpkin and mushroom ravioli, which she enjoyed. I had the burrata with pesto and roasted tomato. There was only one-half roasted cherry tomato, but it was very good. For entree, I had three sides: the meatballs, the forest mushrooms and the roasted broccoli rabe. All were excellent.
So the food was good, but this being a hotel restaurant, it was filled with families with kids so the noise levels were very, very high. Just not a very relaxing environment for a couple out for a nice dinner.
Trevi V never disappoints. Being locals we visit quite often and it is always a great experience, from greeting at host station, to service, food quality and general atmosphere. This week, the special soup, beef barley, was very tasty. Tried the salami pizza for the first time and it was very delicious -- sorry I waited so long to give it a try. The only reason I rated the value a 4 is that I feel the beverage pricing is a bit high. However, my espresso martini was cold and delicious. Absolutely worth the visit.
We’ve been going to Hershey Hotel for our annual girls getaway for years now and have always missed out on Trevi. Finally had the chance to try it. Sadly it was a big let down. I had Rigatoni Bolognese and the rigatoni was severely undercooked. Not al dente, undercooked! My friends had the lamb risotto which wasn’t risotto. It was just rice. We will not be back.
Trevi 5 has a nice atmosphere and the food is wonderful!
The food was unreal. My wife and I have never enjoyed a meal that tantalizing in our lives. We will be returning frequently.
My veal dish was just fried breading covered with fresh greens, I was very disappointed, the other 2 meals that where order delicious, I was just amazed that a 5 star restaurant would serve a veal dish like that and charge I believe $32.00
Wonderful Italian meal at a gorgeous hotel. Service was great.
Food was wonderful but the service was top notch. Our server was the best. She made great recommendations. But, most of all made our 8 year old niece feel very special. She took great care of us and we all enjoyed our time at Trevi 5.
The hotel online description made the restaurant very inviting to try.
Of the 4 meals 2 were good they other 2 failed.
The Cacio e Pepe House Made Bucatini, Tellicherry Peppercorn, Parmigiano Reggiano, Extra Virgin Olive Oil- was nowhere near this description. Little to no cheese and dry .
The special with papedel and boar was haphazardly thrown together with no real fusion of the ingredients and therefore lacking in taste.
The filet over polenta and the margarita pizza lived up to their descriptions.
Overall we were so disappointed to meal we were looking forward to.
Great place to eat while at the Hotel Hershey. Love the cocktails! Food is good.
Really didn't like the menu selections especially the accompaniments to the meat/fish . . . not a real appealing plate presentation. The foccacia bread was great though! The service was o.k. but not impressive.
The staff was fabulous, very attentive without hovering. The lamps hanging from the ceiling were spectacular, hand blown from Milan we were told. The food was great, portions generous, and presentation lovely. A bit pricey but that's what I would expect as part of the Hershey hotel and spa experience.
Our meal was fantastic. We tried many delicious dishes, including the parsnip agnolotti special (with shaved brussels sprouts, porchini butter, and preserved lemon) and fusilli carbonara. We also enjoyed the charcuterie and clams appetizer (with pancetta and rosemary). Everything we had was flavorful, well-seasoned, and had an interesting twist for the palate. We will be back!
I have enjoyed many meals here for many years, the quality of the food was poor.
We travel up to Trevi several times a year from Lancaster where we live. It is always a great, relaxing meal. The service is wonderful and the food fantastic. We especially like the valet service so we don't have to walk from the parking lot.
The food had flavor. The service was very bad!
Pro: Awesome bread and great service.
Kudos to the bread and ALL of the Servers who waited on our table of 4 on X-mas night.
Con: Small portions, just average taste and too pricey for the product received.
The salads and the entrees' were BOTH under-dressed and slightly dry.
Have had better Caesar Salad at both a Seafood and Steak House than Trevi.
Their are better Italian options (Taste & Value) all around the Hershey, Harrisburg area.
Overall, slightly disappointed and would be hard to recommend to those who are familiar
with other local Italian restaurants.
Christmas dinner - waited 52 mins w a reservation. Waitress spilled half of the calamari on the table.
Lovely. Christmas dinner.
Outstanding Service! Food was good but had better. It’s a little pricey for the food.
Very much enjoyed the experience. The food and drink offerings were unique and my friend and I found them very much to our liking.
I am was disappointed in our meals for the cost. The veal was overcooked and dry. The tap water in a glass bottle was less than special considering we were at the Hotel Hershey. Service was so, so, again nothing above an average restaurant like Appleby's. For the cost, it was not worth returning. I know this is painfully honest, but how else would you know. I even found the hostess not very accommodating
Really enjoyed the food and service. Would certainly recommend and return.
Service was great. Nice atmosphere, not too noisy. Good homemade pasta. Fusilli with guancale was excellent. Hershey’s sugnature martinis are always yummy. Peanut butter chocolate pie to die for.
Overall, all aspects of our experience were satisfactory. The food, service, and ambiance were satisfactory.
Wonderful staff and great food.
We have been to Trevi 5 a number of times and it is usually very good. This time the food was so so although both service and ambiance was as usual very good. The menu changes very little at Trevi 5 and is somewhat limited in choices. My wife and I had two different pasta entrees and both were very rich and spicy. Not what we expected. Overall a pleasant experience with friends but beware of spicy italian sauces.
