An alfresco dining area accommodates 16 guests, the dining room seating 50 guests that now have a clear view into an open plan kitchen with banquette seating surrounded by the soft hues of jade green and dusty heather pink.
Staying true to his style of cookery, the new menu will focus on Adam’s interpretation of great classics in a relaxed and approachable setting.
The kitchen presents a four course a la Carte menu of for a set price of £70. The wine list continues to offer great value with the Chef's Cellar List (just add VAT and corkage), increasing both our quantity and quality and a overall extension to the main wine list of up to 400 bins now on display in the feature wine cellar on the ground floor.
One of my favourite restaurants, Trinity always delivers the most exciting, creative and utterly delicious food and the service is never less than excellent. It is the little touches like a card signed by the staff for a birthday, the inventive amuse-bouche and the guilty pleasure of petits morceaux after dessert that
makes the dining experience an absolute delight. This is our go-to special occasion spot.
Made to feel very welcome. The courses were delicious as was the wine pairing. The service was excellent.
Wonderful dining experience, so much so that because of a previous dining experiences there I introduced a friend to this restaurant. She too was very impressed and will certainly be back. The fare was absolutely spot on and dessert was to die for! The staff were all very professional, but with a personal touch. A well deserved Michelín star. Will definitely do another return visit the next time I'm in London. ✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️❗
From the moment you walk in, Trinity feels like a special occasion. The waiting staff make you feel like the main event and once you try the food, you realise quite how special the place is.
We came to celebrate an important family occasion and it didn't disappoint.
One of the best evenings I've had at a restaurant in a long time.
Amazing as always
Great food and great service. Location and setting is cosy. Seating arrangements could be a little better, especially for those seated opposite the food preparation area and kitchen. Small dining area meant noise levels could reach moderate levels, but nothing too offputting. Service from staff was excellent, very attentive and helpful. Food was also excellent, although might it might also be helpful for staff to highlight when selection of dishes might lean towards being too rich instead of a more balanced tone as it might be overwhelming for some diners.
I have always enjoyed this small, cosy restaurant on the Polygon. (Hopefully the building boards outside won’t be there for too long!) One of our party was very critical of the food, but the rest of us enjoyed the menu. The final bill was extortionate, but we did have a fair bit of wine, and London being London...Perhaps lunch would be better value for money?
Went for Xmas lunch on 23/12
I think they have simplified their menu, and
This is a good thing.
The food was superb
Good wine list
Don’t miss the tart train dessert for 2- which actually feeds 4( you need to pre-order)
I think very excellent value for the quality of the food and level of service.
I love this place
Some of the best food ever eaten in the most convivial, relaxed environment. Majestic
Wonderful meal and staff were super helpful.
I really enjoyed my lunch here. The negative for me was that portions are very tiny particularly the main course. It does not create a very good impression. The minuscule pieces of fish and partridge breast comes across as particularly parsimonious.
If it’s about portion control and keeping costs down charge a bit extra I’m happy to pay it. It creates a more generous vibe.
If any of those strapping chefs in the kitchen had a plate set before them like that they would think you were having a laugh. Serve us what you would enjoy yourselves.
The service is however lovely
Food was superb, and service excellent. Only gripe is it is exceptionally expensive - there is better value to be had elsewhere.
Excellent food beautifully served
Fabulous decor, great service
The food is beautiful served and very creative and tasty
The members of staff are very polite and friendly
We have visited the Trinity on many occasions and it never fails to please.
Outstanding food, attentive service. Spaced out courses, relaxed, and excellent value.
Will definitely come back with reinforcements
Too many complex taste dishes in all the dishes
We don’t need sardine ravioli
Sometimes less is better
This was our second visit, the first about a year ago, again for a mid-week evening meal. The food as before was of very high quality, portion size about right and spoiling amuse bouches before and after the main meal - big ticks.
Down sides were: the tables seemed closer together than we'd remembered and as a result acoustics weren't always conducive to conversation even with the long standing friends we went with.
Also service seemed a mixture of overly attentive and a little fussy and on the other hand absent - it was a busy night for the staff but we still waited for what seemed long intervals to order drinks other than water and then our main food choices. This was definitely different from last time when service was first class throughout and it might affect our choice to come to Trinity again.
Excellent food, superb service. Truly an experience.
The food was delicious and innovative, beautifully presented. The restaurant is a calm, elegant oasis and perfect for lunch, dinner with friends
Wonderful evening. Superb service from the greeting throughout the whole experience. Complex flavours beautifully presented in their four course dinner.
Couldn’t fault anything from the excellent sourdough bread to their signature tarte tatin. Would highly recommend.
The food at our lunch was superb as usual, very tasty and very well presented. Some real surprises on the menu like pig's trotter on the day we went. The staff are very knowledgeable about the food and the wine. An absolute delight!
I went with a very longstanding friend. We had good conversation and delicious food which was just what we wanted. Thank you!
The best restaurant in South London. Can not recommend it enough.
Fantastic dinner, delicious food and a great team delivering it. Their bread is sublime and their food keeps impressing.
My recent lunch at Trinity was most enjoyable. The food was excellent and exquisitely presented. The service was attentive without being obtrusive and the attention to small details made it a very special occasion (it was my friend's birthday). It isn't cheap to eat here but it is good value for money for this level of dining experience. I will most definitely be back.
Really enjoyed coming back here again after not being for some time. Food and wine isn’t are excellent as ever.
This is the third time I’ve visited Trinity, the food got more and more salty. It was so nice the first time, but for somehow the standard not kept for the second and third time when I brought friends and family back.
I celebrated my birthday at Trinity and it was divine! The food was delicious, as is to be expected, but the attentiveness and overall attention to detail on behalf of the staff was phenomenal.
Loved our dinner experience and can’t wait to come back... fantastic spot on service... creative spin on classic dishes, delicious and memorable. My partner is a chef and he never ever returns to restaurants, he definitely asked me to reserve at Trinity soon again:)
Spectacular, imaginative dishes served in a stylish space by a well-led team of competent staff. We’ll be back.
Such an institution and has maintained its high standards and neighbourhood feel for a long time now. Perfect restaurant.
Very friendly staff, amazing food, great value. We went there for lunch and don’t regret our choice.
Fantastic service with the food to match. We had such a lovely evening celebrating our anniversary!
It's an experience I won't forget. The food, people, wine and general simplicity of Trinity was perfect. The food was just a mouthwatering joy and the staff were beautiful and, attentive but not OTT.
Give them a Michelin star already!!!!
Almost felt too full with the 4 course menu, preferred it when it was 3 courses!
Amazing food one of the best meals I have ever had even the bread roll was an experience in itself.
It was good value as well . The wine was expensive but you get what you pay for .
Cant wait to go back .
I have visited Trinity over a number of years but on this occasion we were all disappointed and it did not match previous experiences. The service was extremely slow, they took too long to take our order and dishes were very slow to come, the Maitre D’ apologised for the delay. When the food arrived the first two courses were very salty. We did inform the staff, who said they would let the kitchen know. The portion of vegetables which was served for the table was sparse. We also found the price for the four course set menu, which is the only option, and the wines available extremely expensive when compared with similar standard restaurants and there were supplements on several of the dishes which limited the choice if you did not want to pay more.
Excellent evening - first class, friendly and knowledgeable service, fantastic food.
This was well worth the visit. The food was wonderful and the four of us did run the gamut of the options in each of the four courses. I must give a shout out for the sardine raviolo and the soused mackerel with white gazpacho. The lamb was superb and the hare totally fantastic. Servings are small enough to cope with four of them but by the end we were all stuffed - although we found room for some petit fours. Our guests had been before and chose the same dessert - a definite recommendation - salted caramel custard. We went early on a weekday and were able to converse. Our table allowed us sight of the kitchen so we could observe the workings of the magicians.
