Excellent time a Trinity! Excellent fresh food, service, atmosphere wine and food choice on the menu. Good choice for both sea, game and meat lovers
Fabulous food and friendly, down to earth staff. Would highly recommend to all.
Nicely laid out, relaxing and friendly atmosphere, excellent service and fantastic food.
A delightful spot in Clapham Old Town. Service is attentive and the ambience is great.
The portions were just right and the food fascinating and subtle in flavour.
Very knowledgeable staff ... and most served us at some point illustrating their competence. Good wine choices. A great evening.
My wife and I have gone to trinity a number of times since it opened and we think the food this last time was the best yet.
Excellent food, lovely attentive staff and great ambience.
The tasting menu is gone, long live the 4 courses with a great sommelier.
Recommended as always.
We had a pretty much perfect evening at Trinity. This is fine dining yet with a casual, yet elegant, flair. The staff are attentive and friendly without being overbearing, and it’s a very easy room to relax in. Meanwhile, in the open kitchen, there is some seriously clever cooking going on. The whole eating experience focuses on rich and complex flavours which, while impressive, can happily span a four-course tasting menu without smashing your face in. Wine advice from the sommelier also was spot on. It’ll set you back a couple of quid, nobody is pretending otherwise, but that’s all as it should be - especially when a find is as good as Trinity.
One word can only describe The Trinity “brilliant”!
An excellent meal, truly outstanding. We were here for a birthday and they were very thoughtful about that, the service was good and not overpowering, but the food - even better than i remember 5 years ago. Thank you
I've dined at Trinity Clapham many times over the years. I was delighted when they received their Michelin Star as well as renovated their space. We've always had great experiences there and often go for special occasions like this one. The meal was amazing, the service was quite good and we enjoyed everything.
I booked this restaurant to be honest just because its close to home & it sounded quite nice. What I didn't expect was one of the best meals I have ever had. All four courses were absolutely fantastic. Every single dish was innovative and delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody who loves fine dining.
Sensational food, perfect place for a special occasion. Superb staff
I managed to get a last minute booking on a Thursday evening when my mum came to town. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal which was fabulous. Managed to scale down the fixed 4 course menu to three courses as we really thought four courses would be too much. And we were right to do so...as with the delicious additions to our meal (mine comprising of soused mackerel, smoked eel pissaladiere and baked Cornish brill) and of sour dough bread, amuse bouche and petit fours we really had no room for any more food! I would definitely come back and do the full four courses making sure I had a very light breakfast and lunch first. It’s a real treat to dine at Trinity.
The food is wonderful, three of us went for a friends birthday and every single plate was a delight both in taste and presentation. Who’d have thought of sardine bolognese? I will. My friend will drool over thoughts of three beautiful oysters each a different presentation. The staff are all wonderful.
Excellent food and service as always.
Amazing food and service! We will definitely be back.
Extraordinary food in a lovely, chic and comfortable setting. EXTRA lovely service - notably going literally the 'extra mile' to source the right lager!
I went to Trinity with my wife and son to celebrate his birthday. The restaurant is in the Old Town of Clapham and conveniently located near the Clapham Common underground station. The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived at 1.15pm but filled up to be about 60% full when we left. It was an exceptionally cold day for late March. This may account for the apparent ease of getting a table. Although the area is quite trendy the internal of the restaurant is a quite sombre grey with no notable features. We only duplicated one course and I would say that all the dishes were excellent and there were numerous "amuse de bouches" throughout the meal. Every dish was crafted to the very highest standard and created an interesting play on flavours. Service was efficient without being fawning. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. Price was a reasonable £85 per head including service, wine and aperatifs.
Amazing as always. This truly is one of my favourites restaurants. You can never go wrong with the quality of the food and service.
The food served at the restaurant were delicious. There were good options on the menu and the service there was fantastic. Highly recommend this place!
Amazing food for a great value as a Michelin star restaurant wine list pretty good and very friendly service
Astonishingly good all round. Great cooking and excellent service in a pleasant room that hits just the right note.
Great evening , fabulous food and impeccable service!
As always we had a fabulous evening! This time we took some friends from Switzerland to off your great restaurant and they would like to extend their compliments to the chef. It’s very reassuring that when ever we come to your restaurant the food is always delicious and innovative. Looking forward to my next visit.
Expensive, and not for vegetarians. The menu for vegetarians is take it or leave it - there is no choice.
Another fantastic visit. Will be back again soon! A special mention to Maiya for the great wine recommendations!
Extremely good menu and fantastic service. Great meal for a birthday treat.
Arriving on my bike, windswept and freezing having cycled through the snow, the welcome was warm and genuine as they helped me reclaim a normal look after extracting cycle helmets etc, the restaurant warm, the menu delicious, the service attentive, informed and excellent. I love it here.
Couldn't have asked for more. An amazing 4 courses, all so delicious and well presented. I also appreciated being looked after so well as I have to be Gluten Free. Being able to see the kitchen at work was wonderful too. I already want to go back to this lovely restaurant.
Style over substance. Loked nice but food wasn't particularly tasty. Amuse bouche were not even nice. Offered two small pieces of bread, no choice. Desert feeble. Sorry
Amazing food. Great wine list. Fantastic service. What’s not to love?
We have dined at this restaurant on a number of occasions now. Our recent visit was for our anniversary and we had an early table at 6.45pm. The restaurant was empty but for one other table when we first arrived but soon filled up. The four course menu (four choices per course) for £68 (plus drinks) is very good value. The food was fabulous and the service top-notch; professional but also personable and friendly. We shall be back! Soon!
On arrival at Trinity it was very professional, however it went down hill after the drinks order . I ordered a beer and my girlfriend ordered a bottle of wine with our dinner...
As it arrived our waitress commented that I was now double parked with drinks even though I chose to drink the beer first.
The Banter seemed very unprofessional, it carried on through to our deserts , by all the staff serving us . It was too familiar and not what I would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant.
The cooking in general was executed well, the mixed starter was of meats, foie gras and other bits and bobs was excellent, mains were a mixed bag, the pigeon was very good but the Brill in a lemon sauce just tasted very strongly of lemon, extremely overpowering.
The staff were fantastic and accommodated our needs perfectly, no room for improvement and they even let us take our desert home as my partner wasn`t feeling great on the day (not food related :) )
The best meal i have ever eaten!
Unbelievable food and service - amazing all round
Anniversary. Very expensive but the food is seriously good. You get what you pay for here.
Extremely good food in a lovely ambient venue. Fully deserving of its Michelin star.
Wonderful lunch, great service, charming staff. It is a truly the Best restaurant in Clapham I have been too. Keep it up :-)
We went for a birthday celebration. 3 ominivores, one vegan. 4 courses for £68 including canapés and petit fours. Have to say it was all delicious. Unapologetically French and meaty on the main menu but the vegan menu was separate and also delicious. Service delightful. Would definitely go back.
Fantastic. Absolutely remarkable food in a very pleasant setting and with perfect service. Pricey, but worth it.
