The staff were friendly despite facing tough times with imminent closure due to coronavirus. They made this feel like a great last hurrah before we all have to remain distant. The tables were very well spaced and had free hand gel to prevent any infections.
Great food, great staff
Fantastic food, experience and service.
Wonderful cooking. Every course a delight. Charming service. Tip top.
What can I say! A fantastic evening celebrating a 30th Birthday. The food was amazing along with the service.
Martin looked after us and made the meal a memorable experience. the food was excellent with powerful flavours. due to the cost, I would return for a special occasion.
Delicious beautfully presented food accompanied by excellent wine.Highlights were tuna tartare, rose veal, halibut and desser wine complemented by superb service.
We shall be back!
Food was good, nice friendly service, very nice restaurant, would come back
This was our first visit to Trinity and it exceeded our expectations. A great experience and we’ll be back!
As usual, Trinity kept up its excellent standard of food
AmaIng as always
The food was absolutely outstanding. We enjoyed sitting next to the kitchen and watch how they prepare food. The service was very good, although not without a few hiccups. Would definitely recommend !
Really lovely meal, delivered with great service.
Excellent value Sunday menu (£55 for four courses, plus amuse bouche and some rather lovely bread) included a terrific mackerel starter, a novel take on crispy pigs trotters and a very rich and beautifully presented potato boulangere (£10 supp...). Staff very friendly, relaxed but delivered quality dining.
A nice family meal with some special food on the table, thank you.
Incredible food and fantastic staff. Everyone that served us from the moment we arrived to the moment we left was brilliant. A special mention for the sommelier; incredibly knowledgeable and friendly - didn't force us into any decisions and helped us select some incredible wine. Thank you!
It is is pricey, but then if you want things done properly, you have to pay. There is no comparison to a standard "restaurant" chain which are equally appalling in food and service. Here it is all fantastic. Great food and service. Staff are knowledgeable and flexible to your requirements, dietary needs are catered for without ruining the experience. And don't forget the tatin - we had one to share, but also had to order the souffle (to share) in addition. Both fantastic.
What a treat! Fabulous food and excellent service. We will be back soon I hope.
Wonderful evening at Trinity. Great food, Great service & great atmosphere.
A perennial classic in the heart of Clapham Old Town. Rich, finessed, comfortable.
The food was delicious. The restaurant was, as far as I could see, full but the noise level never became a distraction. I found the service a bit obtrusive
Thanks a lot to the Trinity team - food, drinks and service were great as usual.
Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch. Excellent food and very attentive service
Amazing food and service! They even wrote a birthday card. It was perfect!
Superb food and amazing service! Staff were so good to us and especially to me, celebrating my birthday. They had even prepared me a card and staff had personally signed! The restaurant is better than ever, we hope to go again soon.
The staff were wonderful and the food excellent. We went at lunchtime on a Saturday and were pleased it wasn't too loud but had a nice atmosphere. We were delighted with the whole experience and would recommend.
Great staff and nice decor. Rather off putting smell while passing the entrance to kitchen area but no smell elsewhere. Gents toilets need a decoration tidy up. Certainly been in better at this level of establishment.
Food was excellent, beautiful presented and described by the knowledgeable waiting staff. I felt the wine let things down. My champagne was recommended and was distinctly ordinary at £16 a small glass. Also my friend ordered an unremarkable Pinot Gris which could easily have been £7 from Sainsbury’s instead of 5 times that price! I would visit again but may be lunch and give the wine a miss.
Fantastic food, reasonably priced for the quality.
Attentive and knowledgeable waiting staff and sommeliers.
A fantastic evening.
Lovely food. Good service. Thoroughly enjoyable. Perhaps a LITTLE expensive, but, as I said, excellent. Good to see the kitchen staff so enthusiastic too. Graham Preskett.
Had the 4 course set dinner menu, which had increased by £15 to £90pp due to Valentines Day, despite the fact this was the day after Valentines Day. Despite the price hike there was nothing additional for the money, which was disappointing.
The setting is very nice and service excellent. Largely the food was good, however my veal course was chewy and too under-cooked for the fat content of the meat. When raising this with the waiter he noted this wasn't the first complaint the chef had received about this dish. Disappointingly there were no adjustments made to the final bill of over £300 (for 2 people) to compensate.
In honesty, I was expecting a little more for the price and have eaten at other Michelin star establishments with better food and for less money than Trinity.
Thank you so much to the team at Trinity for making our first time out without our 3 month old baby! We've been dining at Trintity for the past 2 years now, and the service level from the staff is always exceptional, and the food & drink never disappoints.
Exceptional service and food on Valentine’s day:)
Beautifully presented, delicious, original, a perfect lunch with distinct variety and perfect portions
Love this little gem in Clapham!
The service is great and food very delicate.
Still our favourite weekend location for a family lunch. Ambience is great - friendly but not in your face, professional but not cold, just perfect. The menu keeps improving, in particular the vegetarian and vegan dishes. Service wise, its better than all the other michelin starred restaurants we have been too, and we did our best to sample as many as we can, while we can.
Absolutely amazing experience. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. We went there for Saturday lunch with my family to celebrate my promotion. The staff wrote a congrats card which was kindly left on the table prior to my arrival - so thoughtful I really appreciated it. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable without being ‘too much’. Each dish was perfectly cooked and prepared - it’s hard to describe in words how much we enjoyed the food - it was just divine. We will definitely be back.
I absolutely enjoyed the whole dinner experience in Trinity! Def 5 stars
Excellent food and service as always. This restaurant never disappoints.
Lovely evening. Everything was very good and service outstanding. The portions were quite small which is ok if you have four courses but we only had three. Fish slightly salty. Wine list excellent but expensive.
Excellent service and lovely food. Would definitely go back.
We were running a bit late but staff made us feel very comfortable and the initial reception was of a high standard. Harry and his colleague (can’t recall his name) were really helpful in explaining and recommending dishes and associated drinks. Both were fun and really seem interested in our enjoyment.
Overall, we loved the food, and the service ensured our early Valentine’s Day was one to remember.
So far we’ve enjoyed the experience at Bistro Union, and now at Trinity. We’ll definitely be back to visit Upstairs with the friends and family.
