Trishna - London
The informal and sociable neighbourhood dining atmosphere offers seating for up to 80 guests and is available for lunch, dinner, private dining, or exclusive hire. Trishna’s doors also open onto the street, creating a semi-alfresco ambience throughout the restaurant.
Food was good but over priced.
The most expensive glass of wine I've ever had. (Order by the bottle.) Okay, that out of the way, the ambiance is quite nice, the service is first rate, and the food is the best Indian cuisine we've had (and my wife has been to Mumbai). If we were locals, we would dine here regularly.
Great food and selection, very good tasting menu and 7 course was really filling. Defintley recommend a visit!
Fabulous food,fabulous staff
excellent restaurant, from service to experience and quality of food.
Excelent! Great food and wine list! Service so kindly!
Trisha is our favorite restaurant in Marylebone and never disappoints. The tastes are great and unique and the staff is helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend it.
Trop cher pour la qualité de la nourriture / il doit avoir à Londres d autres restaurants indien qui offre plus de subtilités dans les plats
Good food though not as good as the last time I was there. Was deeply irritated with the service and tone of the staff though.
Had the tasting menu. Everything was fantastic.
Overall good food though a bit too spicy hot for our tastes. We ordered two 5 course tasting and one 7 course tasting and found we had too much food for the three of us. Service wad good and atmosphere nice too.
Service was incredible and the pace was nice and relaxing
Excellent food as always. The set lunch is great value for money
When I knew I would be visiting London on my birthday, I asked around for the best high end Indian in London. Trishna's was the consensus pick and it did not disappoint. Trishna's has a wonderful selection of gins and gin drinks; I chose a Monkey 47 gin and tonic with cucumber. As we were enjoying our cocktails we decided to go for the tasting menu as we found we could not possibly chose among so many enticing dishes. The tasting menu was perfectly sequenced and every course was a dream come true. Unlike the sometimes ponderous NYC restaurants that offer tasting menus, Trishna's had a lively, casual yet upscale vibe which made the evening even more enjoyable.
Being an Indian myself who is RARELY ever impressed with Indian restaurants and obviously favoring home cooked Indian food, the food at Trishna pleasantly surprised me! The cocktail menu was incredibly clever (even though the cocktail had was rather strong and medicinal tasting), the food was delicious and went down like a treat.
I will definitely be coming back again for more and perhaps order a different cocktail next time(!)
Truly one of the best meals I’ve had in a while! Really really exceptional! Will be coming back the next time I’m in London!
An enjoyable meal. Always buzzy here and the food is good. A good choice for an upmarket Indian meal.
What an excellent meal. Full of flavour and punchy. Enjoyed very much!
The receptionist was really nice. The waiters were not nice and lacked patience explaining the dishes. The food was good but very heavy.
Tellicherry shrimp very good, Meena fish so-so and seafood biryani very dull , fish and shellfish flavours disappeared into the rice. Definite sugns of kitchen complacency; wouldnt be in a hurry to return, sadly
The quality of food has deteriorated considerably since my last visit. The service was great as always but I won’t be going back any time soon as the food was unnecessarily spicy. It’s as if they’ve just added chillis to everything for no good reason. No warnings on menus of the level of hotness either. I can usually handle my hot foods but wasn’t in the mood for anything too hot that evening. Ruined the experience.
I have a sesame allergy and made it clear very clear before dining - number of times. However had an allergic reaction after a I left. Very disappointed for a Michelin stared restaurant.
Have been to Trisha several times and this visit did not disappoint. The food was delicious, though we ordered a bit too much, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Favourite dish was a fish starter with Goan sausage in it and a Paneer starter. Will be back I'm sure. The room is in need of a bit of a makeover, I think, but that, in no way, detracts from the food.
It was great! I’d go back!
Visited Trishna's on a visit to London from Canada. We visited for a Sunday lunch and had the four course tasting menu with the wine pairing. What a wonderful meal with a variety of dishes and tastes. My partner and I shared it all and we were so pleased with all the different tastes and textures. The wines selected to accompany the courses were excellent. I would definitely recommend a visit to Trishna's and if you are going to do a multi course meal - come hungry as we were very full by the time we were finished!
Booked this for a special occasion, service was prompt. Given how much you have to eat when you order the 5 course menu, it is very much value for money. To be honest, it is the drinks that raise the price of your bill. As with most places really. Will definitely go back again.
Terrible hospitality and service. Food brilliant for some parts and simply good for others.
A friend had raved about this place so I thought I would try it out for my birthday. We weren't disappointed, the food was delicious and exceptional value at £35 per head for 4 courses. We looked at the wine pairing but it didn't seem good value but the wine list more than made up for it.
Great service in addition to the great food so definitely worth a visit.
Excellent food! I was extremely impressed with the excellent service! Will be coming back again.
A very nice dining experience in Soho. But if you are looking for authenticity of southwest India this is not the place. The food was very good but does not resemble the excellent local cuisine. It is overpriced for the serving size. Fish serving is small, tasty, but a little bit dry. The ambiance is wonderful and the service is outstanding so all in all it was a good experience. Desserts are very good.
Celebratory family lunch, including a baby and small child - not easy for the staff at a Michelin starred restaurant, but they were a model of kindness and support. The food was excellent and the event a success. Thank you.
We had an absolutely lovely lunch the other day to celebrate being together for fifteen years! The food was yummy, and we shall certainly be back for the tasting menu soon.
Softshell crab was amazing! And overall the portion was very generous. Great experience of Indian cuisine.
Everyting was delicious
Delicious food and great personalised service. Worth travelling from Brighouse to experience.
My favorite indian place in London
Our visit to Trishna was lovely - service was friendly, if a bit reserved. Didn't expect anything else in this area of the city though. The food was impeccable, some of the loveliest Tandoori Lamb Chops and Daal I've ever eaten.
The ambience was outstandingly furnished and decorated, one of the nicest places I've been to - Indian without nostalgia.
The food is amazing and deserves all the accolades without doubt. The tasting menu is exquisite. The wine list extensive and very interesting. Charming staff and very welcoming too.
All at a price of course. The tasting menu with a decent bottle of wine is about £125 a head. A tad pricey but I am not complaining.
The seating in the front part is not at all comfortable, this is my only criticism.
I should also add a health warning, and except for a few dishes (the Biryanis for example) are spicey. Deliciously so but nonetheless spicey. So if you can’t stand spices choose very carefully. But it is truly excellent.
