Troia Bar & Restaurant
Friendly, relaxed staff. Good food. Enjoyable meal.
Fantastic food, staff & service. Marco is excellent 😊❤️
Friendly service and great food at a reasonable price
We loved everything! Great ambience, friendly service, tasty food ...we'll definitely go again and recommend it to our friends!
Really enjoyed the food, great kebabs and lamb shank. Google map sent us to wrong place, it's across the street
Really close to London Eye and that area. Very friendly place. Great selection
Used to be my favorite but seems I landed up on a day the manager wasn't there.. And got some pretty bad service... Not sure I will go there again. Food was good though
Food was lovely, the waiter recommended the chicken shish and it didn’t disappoint!
It's a very nice restaurant in terms of ambience and the best meal you can get in a very touristic area.
The portions are big, the meat very clean and well cooked and there are many vegetarian options such as the vegetarian moussaka. I had pan fried sea bass fillet which was excellent.
We will surely go back to Troia as Southbank is our favourite place for Sunday strolls and for theatre/concerts but we had never had before such a lovely family meal in the area.
A great eatery. We all enjoyed prompt service and an unhurried meal that was cooked to perfection. A little bit difficult to find as the restaurant is in a building directly behind County Hall. Don’t hesitate to book. It’s good!
Below average food, bad service. There are much better restaurants on the south bank.
lovely restaurant and ambience. Good location near London Eye.
It was a pleasant surprise. Given the location I would have expected a turist-y trap where it was actually a good restaurant.
It is not too fancy but food was good, in great portions and reasonably priced.
The location is airy and brand new.
We found the service funny although the "direct approach" of the lady might not go down well with all the clients.
I would happily eat again at Troia if I was in the area
i booked this on open table and had a confirmed booking only to find out that on the troia website it was closed for refurbishment! I put in a query to open table and had no answer. we love this restaurant but could have caused us a major problem
We had a lovely evening, the food was fantasticas was the service We would definately come again
Food was marvelous as usual but not sure why it seemed more expensive than usual..and This was without alcohol.. But it's a great little place and I'll certainly go again
The food was really tasty but quite expensive. The restaurant is based really close to Southbank/Eye so a good place to head for a lunch or pre theatre food.
Over priced and unauthentic Turkish cuisine. Will not be visiting again.
A great venue for our NY Eve pre-fireworks. Authentic Turkish food and fantastic location close to the London Eye. Vibrant and fun atmosphere and not like most restaurants who triple their prices for NY Eve!
Excellent mezza starters and good main courses. Service was very good and friendly considering we were there on New Year's Eve and they were obviously very busy. If you like Mediterranean cuisine this place is worth a visit for casual eating. No cocktails available.
I had booked the pre-fix Christmas Dinner and the website should 3 different options. When we arrived, regular menus were on the table, no mention of Christmas dinner. Prices are a little higher than shown on open table.
Food was excellent. Baked Brie was excellent, as was the Baba Ganush (Patlikan). Best Fish and Chips ever. Good Mixed Grill and Chicken dishes. Good attentive service.
Fast service, great food and good value. Thoroughly enjoyed it
We had a very pleasant evening dinner there as a group. Food and service very very good, Shisha Option not tried, Ambiente could be nicer, very good value for money, excellent coffee, good drinks selection.
Always worth a visit. Best value is the meze, but as I was on my own, I went for the mixed grill. It was quite late and they were still as helpful as ever, despote probably wanting to go home! Nice Turkish wine, not too noisy and generally great food
Lovely food and good service as always. But it was very noisy this time and so we decided to find somewhere quieter for dessert and coffee.
The food is good but really not good value for money. We ordered 2 mixed grill plates that are around £19 and there is really not much to eat and were still hungry, so much so that we had to ask for another one (when we said we were disappointed with the portions, they gave the extra plate for free). Atmosphere and service OK.
Decent food and atmosphere. I’d go back
Nice venue for a sensibly priced dinner catching up with a friend (who is vegetarian, but eats fish- menu had plenty of options). Good value, especially considering location but what makes it stand out is the fantastic personal service. There was a slight mix up with our booking but the apology & attention we got at the restaurant far outweighed the minor inconvenience so well done on really getting that customers can go elsewhere but personal service costs nothing & can make an evening. Thank you.
A lively slightly noisy atmosphere. Reminded me of a school dining hall. However, the food was excellent and the staff worked very hard to ensure we were well looked after during a busy Saturday evening.
Great food and service. Always a pleasure eating here
Lovely welcome in a great location just behind County Hall, near Westminster. Had the Mixed Meze and some extra dishes between three of us. All were prepared nicely. Good place for lunch or dinner.
I really enjoyed the place. Great food with a good selection. The service was ok and it was rather expensive but it is right by the London Eye so you expect that.
Fantastic meal overall. On arrival we were made to feel welcome. Outdoor heater was put on to allow us to sit outside and eat, which was great for my daughter. Good advice was offered on menu choices to stop us overspending which we really appreciated. My partner and I had the meat meze and then shared a kebab. Perfect and all dishes were lovely. All in all a great evening. Only 4 stars as cleanliness of toilets does let it down. Would definitely visit again.
Food is fine, ambience is reasonable but the waiter with the beret with his "luvverly ladees" shtick was not only irritating, but patronising and sexist. His attempts to entertain were annoying and intrusive. This group of professional women did not appreciate being treated like giggly teenagers.
Also, please do not allow customers to smoke on the terrace - it is extremely unpleasant when you are eating. We had planned to order dessert but left early for this reason.
Lovely food before going to watch a play at County Hall. Great location.
Very pricey for the quantity, very slow service and waiters and noisy
Great menu with very tasty food, very well prepared.
We went with 2 children under 3, plus prams. The kids were being very noisy but the staff were amazingly accommodating and helpful! Thank you!
Cheap and cheerful taverna style - with nice outdoor seating, so perfect for warmer evening. Service was very attentive and the food was good quality. Lovely mezze. Would definitely visit again
