Went for a father's day meal with my dad, quick to be seated and friendly staff. My dad had the Camebert cheese which was nice enough to be a main, I had the lamb kofta kebabs which although i understand is a side was a deconstructed tiny version which was quite bland. The staff were friendly however it took ages to get ones attention for anything. We both had desert the Bailey's mouse was more Bailey's then mouse which is you like alcohol I guess is a plus but not for me also there was a mix up and our deserts took over 15 minutes. In light of this we were offered complimentary drinks which was a nice gesture. Overall I would come again for a light lunch or some drinks but probably not for a meal again.
Excellent food and service 👍🏻👍🏻
Good food tables a bit cramped but expensive £85 for 2 people
I was excited to return to this restaurant after many years. Sadly I was greatly disappointed, food was mediocre, certainly not enough sauce, had to ask for more, beef was bland and chewy. Wait staff need an 100% improvement in customer service and taught how to share a bill. Had to help her work out how to and how much each. Overall very disappointing for what was once a great place to eat.
Lovely place to eat, great service by lovely staff.we were made to feel welcome from the minute we stepped through the door.
A friendly relaxed restaurant but a bistro with high standards and excellent service. Food tastes very fresh and locally sourced. Very friendly staff who offer fab service
The food was absolutely outstanding. Camembert shared starter followed by sirloin steak and seabass mains. Seasonal vegetables added side were fresh and perfectly prepared. Menu had something for all tastes and the ambience was very good.
I felt the drinks were a little on the expensive side. Remember when paying they also incur a service charge.
Overall an excellent meal, excellent staff as well and will 100% return to Tummies.
Waitress took our order, we were served quickly. Waitress was attentive and happy to adapt my meal to my requirements. Meal was fab, it was really enjoyable. If I had to be especially picky, the only suggestion would be is for ice to be in the glasses when a bottle of sparkling water was ordered. We just had lemon, but it was lovely anyway. Cannot fault anything else.
Great food, great service very friendly positive staff.
Would definitely recommend!!
Food lovely as usual. Just very noisy.
Amazing Brunch! A lot of space to eat. Would like to try lunch ans dinner too!
I've been to the restaurant many times.
I was disappointed this time as I ordered a Sorbet ( blackcurrant raspberry lemon ) and I was given strawberry ice cream instead of lemon. Unfortunately I am highly allergic to strawberry !!!
I gave the scoop to my friend. I mentioned it to the lovely waitress who apologised.
Allergies are very serious for some people and care should be taken.
The waitress did offer us a coffee on the house which we declined.
Service spot on and they changed a dish for me. Salad with sea bass rather than with chips and peas. Pleasant atmosphere and good amount of parking.
Fourth time we've been to Tummies and each time has been great.
Just a few lost marks as the mash potato was slightly coarse and mixed with other veg (I think). The person eating it was used to a plainer style.
But all great, thanks.
........... Tummies - just as expected and as lovely as always ..........
Really enjoyed my Sunday Roast but my husband would have really liked the option of a veggie roast.
The staff were really attentive, fun and friendly which added to our experience. The food was great too - lots of it, hot and exactly what we asked for.
Great local option, child friendly and buzzy atmosphere.
The food at Tummies always tastes great and is attractively presented. Service is efficient and friendly.
It can get very noisy as it’s such a popular bar and restaurant but we requested a quiet table and that was acknowledged and provided.
Had a lovely breakfast on a lazy Saturday morning. Homemade muesli was perfect.
Good atmosphere, fun and lively venue, there was live music when we went.
Nice location, prefect for brunch!
good food, friendly staff, lovely ambience, value for money - what's not to like:-)
Excellent food & service ,can highly recommend this restaurant
Portions very small for the money - I had filet of pork and around 6 chunky chips .. had to pay extra for veg , I think you need to increase the portion sizes , and I’m a lady wouldn’t never fill a man up .
Dessert was good though - I had key lime pie
Also you should have live music on a weekend . That would be great for the customers , I do feel tummies do money grab a bit and don’t give the customer much of an experience .
A group of girlfriends met here for lunch. The service was very good, and the food was delicious. There is a really nice atmosphere in the restaurant and I would definitely return.
Great food and friendly staff. Will come again soon.
Excellent meal and service. A very well established restaurant with an excellent reputation which it totally deserves. We have moved out of the area but will definitely be back. X
Lovely as usual - been coming since it opened - never had a bad meal
Absolutely delicious....pate and garlic bread to start..yum...sunday roast..yum Cajun chicken..yum too full to have dessert. Best Sunday lunch around
Lovely food, nice ambiance, nice decor and friendly staff... Great place to eat 😃
The food is always well presented good quality ingredients and well cooked. Inexperienced staff could have spoilt evening.
Always love coming to tummies as it's the best restaurant in the area by far 😎😎😎
As ever friendly and excellent food. Great roast potatoes with my Sunday Lunch.
As always lovely food, service and value for money
Tummies is a great gem of a restaurant that's in a catchment for so many areas of Berks & Bucks & if you haven't been yet you really have missed out ! Choices to suit everyone& and it has a really vibrant , happy atmosphere. Wether it's a big family occasion, a friendly catch up, a drink after work or a any other get together this is the place to go!
Lovely haddock risotto, waiting staff were friendly and efficient. We needed to do some work after our meal and weren’t rushed to vacate the table. Would definitely go back next time I’m in the area.
I enjoy eating at Tummies very much & would do so more frequently but parking can be a problem, particularly as i am disabled & need to park near the entrance.
The food is always very good, the red wine served at the right temperature (not often the case in other restaurants) and the staff always friendly and helpful.
Very relaxed and informal. Good choice of dishes - more than the "usual" choices! Good value
