The food is not amazing but the location and atmosphere is nice.
A great restaurant, in a fantastic vibrant part of London. I went with friends for my birthday and we were all impressed by the friendliness of the staff.
Was a lovely restaurant but the service was poor. Staff were not attentive. Stood talking to each other. Would return if they had all new staff members.
Great food and good value with pre theatre menu on Eat Out To Help Out offer
The restaurant has been very well set up to ensure safety confidence during covid.
Had a very nice dinner, food was excellent, service was very good. Would definitely recommend
Absolutely great service
Great ambience and the perfect place
Lovely meal on the set menu which was very reasonably priced. The wine was quite expensive and we could have drink more! We will definitely return.
The Service was excellent , loved the food will definitely be going back soon !!! Highly recommend and will book it for my sister’s up coming birthday . Thank you to all the staff very hard working we appreciate you.
Very good handling of Covid conditions, amazing first restaurant experience!
Arrived after a West end show, so quite late in the evening but reserving a table helped. Very friendly staff, service was quick and the food was delicious. Recommend the pulled pork belly and the sticky toffee pudding!!
Saturday 8th March
Had lunch here for the second time to celebrate a 50th birthday.
The staff were extremely friendly & attentive.
The food was delicious.
The only negative thing is have to say is to request that you remove the two wall lights in one of the toilet cubicles as I smacked the back of my arm on one as they’re in the completely wrong place.
2 out of 3 mains were excellent. My fillet of pork was a bit dry though my complaint was dealt with very positively.
Desserts very good. Service friendly and the restaurant was quiet.
I always feel a bit self conscious being single and dining alone but I was made to feel very welcome
I explained I’m unable to eat gluten; I had picked Tuttons as they stipulate which options are gluten free on the menu but the waitress was also really nice about it and helpful in suggesting pudding options. I couldn’t manage pudding as I was so full up!
Really lovely food and clean establishment
I’ll definitely return (and have pudding)
This restaurant has deteriorated. Normally it is very good, however on this occasion the service was appalling - over half an hour to be served, and the food was lukewarm and average. Clearly not the A team on. Will try Balthazar next door in future.
Wait staff lethargic
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food was good and reasonably priced. I’ve been many times and will always go back again.
The setting and atmosphere make this a great place to have an evening dinner at Christmas. The food was good.
The service however let the restaurant down. Our waiter was surly and unresponsive with an overall poor attitude. We didn't receive one of the starters we asked for but it was included in the bill.
On payment, I expressed my disappointment with the service and therefore felt the service charge was unreasonable. I was at this stage willing to pay some of the charge however, rather than try and find out the issues, he took the bill away and removed the charge. No explanation and no apology. He was clearly having a bad night!
Therefore no tip for anyone involved in serving us that night. A shame as this let the whole place down.
Always a favourite whenever we’re in London. Love this place
Duck was dry and minted new potatoes looked greasy, whole thing had been standing on the passé for too long
Consistency is the key with Tuttons ; value for money
Very poor service, rude and inattentive waiter. Took ages to catch anyone's eye and had to all get up separately to pay the bill at the bar as apparently they could not deal with different card amounts at the table. Very disappointing.
Nice evening, great location, good service!
Very reasonable place to have a quick lunch. Food good, service pretty prompt.
Fabulous food and great service. Always a pleasure to dine at Tuttons
An ideal place to meet friends for lunch, good food a delightful atmosphere and all the time in the world for a catch-up.
Nothing wrong with it but it felt a bit mass food and I could easily have made the same at home. They had run out of the vegetarian option.
We always like to come to Tuttons when in London and it was very good as always
Conveniently located for theatres and opera. The service and the food were good but nothing special.
Absolutely great food
Had to have fish & chips while in London. Theirs was excellent, particularly since the fish used was plaice rather than cod.
This restaurant has declined in quality and service since my last visit and the food was at best described as average. Burger was dry and tasteless and the service was lack luster. The restaurant used to be a pre show staple but has become nothing more than a turn and burn tourist trap eatery with the price tags to match. A shame but don’t waste your money here
Terrible, rude, slow and unhelpful service. Food is ok but overpriced by 50%. If it was located anywhere else it would have gone bankrupt by now.
A large restaurant with plenty of seats. We were sat in a little booth next to the door which was a squash having our bags at our feet and the welcoming cool air in the early evening turned a little too chilly as the evening wore on. A move brasserie type menu with a smooth terrine for starters and scallops stater portion for main with broccoli. Service was friendly and we got given our bill as the server was finishing their shift.
Fabulous food. 6 empty plates (both main course and dessert!)
Great location and good food
Good value pre-theatre menu in a great location near the Royal opera House
Pre theatre menu. Not offered until requested. Trying to get the customer ordering from the more expensive a la carte? Also one of 3 starters on the pre theatre not available at 17.30, limiting choice. Not good!
Nice restaurant with a good value pre-theatre menu just near the Royal Opera House
The food was luke warm, not the best tasting either. Pork cutlet was tough, ham bon bon tasted a bit sour. Applied pie dessert was tasty, but again cold, didn't think apple pie was supposed to be cold. The menu's changed a lot since my last visit in September, its seems to have gone downhill a bit, however the cold food seems to be a theme, it was cold in September aswell. Customer service was good, helpful staff, but I'm not sure if that's enough, surely the food must be top priority.
