TW2 Bar and Grill Restaurant
We’ve brought together a team of equally friendly & passionate individuals who are dedicated to delivering the best food and drink in the neighbourhood. We specialise in steak (grass-reared beef aged with Himalayan salt) as part of a wider menu including Sunday roasts.
We’re continuing to grow our ideas and source high quality British produce through local suppliers and offer new menu items every couple of weeks. We cure our own bacon, bake our own bread and biscotti and more. Our bar staff are always creating new flavour combinations for our range of hand-crafted cocktails.
Five years later and TW2 stands out from the chains, giving locals and visitors to Twickenham our vision of a genuine steakhouse and bar with personality.
Friday: 12pm to 12am,
Saturday: 12pm to 12:00am,
Sunday: 12pm to 9:00pm
Excellent as usual. Although they had a party of 50 to cater for, they still seated us & served our food hot & on schedule. Feel very lucky to have this restaurant on my doorstep.
Very good service and attention. We had the Festive Menu (three courses) and at £25 pp was excellent value.
We are regulars at TW2 and rate this restaurant very highly.
Probably one of the best experiences in a while, good table, brilliant service and the food was amazing highly recommended
Chips were not good. Steak ordered medium rare but it was cooked too long. Not worth the cost.
A very pleasant enjoyable meal to cebrate birthday
Great cocktails and Steak. Only let down my chips ( not crispy ) & bearnaise sauce ( but it was homemade ).
Been before and the food was great as the last time and the service was brilliant, sad we don’t live close to restaurant or would go more often.
We visited on Saturday after watching the rugby at Twickenham. We wanted a nice date night and TW2 did not disappoint. We started with cocktails at the bar and then moved into the restaurant for our meal. The bread we shared to keep us going before our steak was fresh and delicious and the rib steak to share was sublime. The service from the staff was attentive and friendly. A beautiful independent; we would not hestitate to recommend to friends or revisit ourselves.
Apart from a few bones in my haddock starter food was excellent as was the service. Great find
Excellent place to take the family...very enjoyable, great wine and food. Staff very attentive without being intrusive. Thank you!
Regular diner at TW2.
Always delighted with service and attention.
Good choice of food and drink at reasonable prices.
I’ve been here on several occasions over the last 5 or so years and generally had pretty good service. However, last Sunday evening was awful. From arrival to departure, service was poor. I waited at the bar for several minutes to be acknowledged and never got served while waiting for the rest of my party. Things only went downhill from there. At the table, the owner chose not to listen that no one would be having fish (allergies) when explaining the specials; the waitress replied to a simple enquiry when delivering our food with “I only have two hands”, then proceeded to forget the additional drink ordered by my partner. The latter’s general attitude and demeanour gave off a cold and sour vibe the whole evening, hence no tip being left. We weren’t sure whether it was just a bad day, or whether it was time to find another career... Either way, although it was only once, their menu doesn’t vary much and it isn’t exactly cheap either, meaning we’ll think again before returning.
We pre-booked on the same day as one of the England international rugby matches at Twickenham. The restaurant is on a direct route between the stadium and the train station. The bar area was full and the noise impacted on the restaurant area. The staff were very helpful and we were seated and looked after very well. The food was great but remember to order veg as all parts of the meal are paid for separately!
Superb as ever!
As ever a lovely evening, with some lovely food a nice way to start the weekend
We had a great time again at TW2 nice to know the standard is still high after a year. Great food great drinks great staff. Lovely family evening!
Very nice, very tasty just the right amount off food.
Always great food would recommend for friends night or groups and great cocktails too
Very good combination of food, service and ambiance. Good cocktail and a now compulsory gin selection. Steaks were done to order and sides well made. Well laid out and appropriate wine list. Personable friendly service from staff and management. Highly recommend as a very good local bar and grill.
Delicious mouth watering food, a great selection with something for everyone. Dishes adaptable for special dietary requirements which is a massive plus!
Another great evening meal at TW2, this time to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary. As always we had the squid to share to start, but this time we also tried the scallops and they were beautiful.
For mains we shared two of the rib steaks, we all left suitably satisfied and even with a doggy bag for a very spoilt dog! As always the staff were great, super friendly and efficient.
A local gem. We'd been saving TW2 for a special occasion and we were not disappointed. Everything you'd want: great food and ambience.
Lovely meal, food was very good and great service.
This was a last minute booking as we were staying in the area overnight. What a find! We both had starter and main course of lovely food. The portion sizes were good and all expertly cooked. The quality of the ingredients showed through and the staff were friendly and attentive. Would go again when we’re in the area.
We are regular diners at TW2 and appreciate the good food and service.
Pleasant atmosphere and recommended.
Food is a delight however on this occasion the service was sketchy
Great Sunday lunch
Great place for Sunday lunch. The roast pork was delicious as was the baby ribs. Lovely atmosphere & very accommodating of children. Although the didn’t have a kind day menu, they cooked a smaller burger for our boys. Would recommend & will be going back.
Dinner with 3 friends & we all had burgers with a mixture of triple cooked & sweet potato fries. Has to be the biggest burger I've ever had & we were all totally stuffed! Great onion rings too!
Wonderful staff, lovely food, and a great atmosphere! Been here a few times now and always have a fab time!
Went here for lunch on Sunday for a roast. Table of 4 and had 3 starters, mine was the goats cheese special which was delicious but felt 1 slice of prosciutto wasn't really enough or value for money, definitely needed another.
Had the roast beef which was sublime, portion size would suit the hungriest appetite and extra gravy offered without asking which was nice so it didn't arrive drowning!
Felt it was a good value meal for 4 with 2 alcoholic and 2 non-alocholic drinks.
Have been for drinks/cocktails and bar food before which is lovely but would return for roast again.
However, would note that usually as we are with children and there is no mention of a child-friendly menu although there were children in the restaurant.
Excellent steak, great cocktails/wine list, lovely starters, friendly service - what's not to like? Sadly no room for desserts, which also looked delicious ...
Have also had Sunday lunch here, portions are huge, tasty, lots of seasonal vegetables.
First visit to this establishment, great place and superb food. Would highly recommend.
Once ordered food came quite quick and looked lovely.
Service was not great, we had to go inside and ask for everything which was frustrating.
Wine and food were excellent, would go back but service let it down
Great food and service as usual.
Highly recommended. We are regulars. On this occasion I chose the whitebait as a starter and for the main course a burger with blue cheese. Exceptional taste and beautifully served. My wife had the prawns to start and the pork belly for the main. She was very impressed and enjoyed the meal.
A nice relaxing place to be, friendly staff, informal with good cooking, our family's new favourite restaurant. Should suit all age groups, smart but not stuffy, interesting but not challengingly 'hip', well cooked and presented food but not self-pretentious.
The service was attentive. The food was such a disappointment apart from my starter which was lovely. A limited menu, tiny portions and in my opinion over priced. Went to the Beefeater the following evening and we both thought the food was better and half the price!
Lovely to sit inside by the air conditioning unit on a VERY hot summer evening and have a nice glass of wine with a friend.
The cocktails were fantastic, food lovely and service attentive and friendly
Friendly staff, great service and good value.
I had the fish and chips followed by the raspberry and pistachio bake well tart with ice cream and my son had a full rack of ribs, then for dessert the sticky toffee pudding. Delicious!
